Lillystar led her group of cats down into the secluded clearing where the Gathering was to be held. No one else appeared to be here yet and she hoped that this Gathering would go well. Looking over her shoulder, she called to her cats that it was safe to enter the clearing and then prowled toward the high rock.
Shadowstreak strode briskly after her leader, keeping an eye on Icepaw, her new apprentice. Since Mistclan had missed the last Gathering, she hoped they would be able to accomplish something and end on good terms this eve. She looked over the others that had come with her and their leader. Trillium, Ripplepaw, Rustpaw, Doubleheart and Wishclaw were to represent their clan tonight.
"It's so quiet...are we the first ones here do you think?" she whispered to Icepaw.

Featherstar padded into the clearing and up the Great Hill to sit beside the MistClan leader. Good evening. I'm guessing that you are Lilystar, the new MistClan leader? I'm terribly sorry Whisperstar had to go. The StoneClan leader didn't know why Whisperstar had left, but she left the subject untouched, knowing MistClan might be sensitive to it right now. I am Featherstar, the leader of StoneClan. She then turned her head slightly, to make sure the chosen cats of StoneClan were also coming into sight.

OOC: Sorry there are so many posts...XD At least each of my 3 have different colored fonts...btw those they are talking to can reply any time, I just make my cats that know each other have conversations.
Lillystar nodded to Featherstar.
"Yes I am Mistclan's new leader, I brought several of our new apprentices tonight, just recently had their ceremonies!" she said, rather brightly. "I hope I do well tonight, this is the first gathering I have ever been to..." She meowed to her cats to get their attention.
"You are free to mingle with whomever you choose until the other two leaders get here!" she told them and then turned back to Featherstar. "So, how do you think things are right now...peaceful or not?" she asked, wanting to know Featherstar's uncensored opinion before they had to speak before all the clans.
Shadowstreak prodded Icepaw and set off to find Dragonpelt, expecting to see him this time. She'd heard that the apprentice had made a friend of him as she had.
Dragonpelt followed his leader into the clearing and then split off with Snowstripe. Spotting Shadowstreak and Icekit, he ran up to them and called out, "Hey Shadowstreak, Icekit, long time no see!" "Have you met my mate, Snowstripe?"
Shadowstreak saw her old friend coming toward them and mewed a greeting to him and the she-cat who she believed was the mate he was referring to. "Hello Dragonpelt and Snowstripe...by the way this is Icepaw now!" she said happily. "I am her mentor now!"

Loveless was certainly not his normal jaunty self. He walked silently beside his sister; yellow hues looking back towards Stoneclan terra every so often.
Pinepaw was not allowed to join them on this Gathering. She remained behind, while he and Chainless, among other clan cats, were instructed to go. He didn’t like to be separated from her for any length of time, even when he was following him clan duty.
The forlorn tom sighed, glancing at the other cats. He stayed back a little bit, not mingling and joking around as he normally would.

The amber leader, as usual, came anonymously slinking through the shadows. She was always like that, a bit on the quiet side. She cast a dark look over her shoulder, for it was tearing her in two to leave her clan when they could be attacked at any time! She appeared skulking around the side of the rock and showing up suddenly on the top of it, seating herself across Featherstar, and a new one. Hrm.. Scent? Mistclan. She hadn't received news on their end about a new leader, but it didn't shock her. These leaders were coming and going so quickly, afterall! She nodded her head in greeting. Amberstar, leader of Treeclan. She said briskly before they even asked. Hello to both of you.

Twin pools, one green, the other blue, gathered in every single sight the greeted her as soon as they padded into the area. The snow white medicine cat filed each and ever little filament of information away; ready to be dredged up at the slightest moment’s notice.
Her bother’s behavior was certainly uncharacteristic, yes. But she was still unaware of the reason behind his sudden bout of depression.
And that bothered her. Chainless did not like not knowing – even if it was not something that was imperative to know.
Ah well, she would find out eventually. She always did.
In any case, Stoneclan’s beautiful medicine cat headed towards the front, where she could hear every word that danced from the leaders’ maws, where she could watch the subtle signs that many others missed.

“Move it kit.”
Blackheart growled, yellow hues training upon the small kit he forced to pad in front of him as they made it to the Great Hill. He motioned for Giddykit to head right to the front, and followed, the large old tom making it quite clear that they kit would certainly regret any wrong movement he dared to make.
Those wise orbs flicked to rest upon the figure of Amberstar. Blackheart drew himself up; proud to serve as deputy of Treeclan.

Snowstripe was quick to arrive shortly after her leader, but she was deputy now! The thought sent a furl of warm air through her entire body and causing her to shudder with excitement. Deputy.. Oh, how she loved the sound of it. She kept up quietly with her mate, as well, following just pawsteps behind him. She'd been to every gathering so far, and she wouldn't dare miss one if she could help it! She seated herself towards the front of the rock, casting her eyes at the cats around her, and pausing to stare at the new leader. She smiled in cordial greeting.

Blindsong did everything within her power to keep up with the others, but she was just as fearful to rush too fast. Whatever possessed the Stoneclan leader to have such a heavily pregnant she-cat come was beyond her, but the blind calico female followed the best she could.
A range of scents assaulted her poor little nose the moment they entered the area. So many cats – the blind fae had only scented so many back at Stoneclan camp, but not like this. There were so many different ones!
Decidedly overwhelmed, the pregnant she-cat nearly ran into the crouched Loveless. She could scent Stoneclan on his fur, as well as his minor depression, and she hurriedly apologized before padding off, seeking Snowstripe.
Instead, she nearly ran into Blackheart, and she flattened quickly at his angry hiss.
“I’m so sorry!”
Blind green hues glittered in plea at the tom, but his attention had already returned to his change and the leaders, dismissing her. Sensing this, she rose again, wobbling a bit in pain, and looked certainly lost among everyone.

The golden-pelted senior warrior followed Blackheart and the kit, aiding his deputy in keeping an eye on the kit. True, he hadn't been assigned such a post, but he was fully aware of the size of the kit, compared to the rest of the cats, and one untuned eye could easily mean the disappearance with the kit. Sunpelt, on this paw, wasn't willing to take that chance, but on the other paw, he trusted his deputy, and mostly his leader, to make the right decision. So, unobtrusively he was Blackheart's aid, and now he sat next to but behind the tom, his amber gaze locked upon the traitorous youngling.
Fate does have a funny way of toying with the little guys, though. This time he used a... very much pregnant she-cat... who, after a good look of her apologetic face, was blind. Turning away from Blackheart, Sunpelt stepped up to the queen, and with his tail, brushed her shoulder to let her know he was there. "I can escort you back to your clan, Queen", he offered, his yellow gaze scanning the growing crowd to find them. Spotting them, he turned back to the she-cat, his attention on her distant eyes as he waited for an answer.

Blindsong did not jump at the tom’s sudden touch; she had scented him the moment he moved. Her calico coat, generally so need and orderly, was a bit ruffled from her stumbling search. She felt as helpless as a newborn kit, lost among the crowd of unknown cats.
“…I thank you tom, and accept your suggestion. My name is Blindsong.”
Her tone was honest and friendly; not allowing the clan boundaries to cause her to lose out on making a friend.
“It’s…a bit difficult for a cat in my state to keep up a times.”
While the words could be self-bashing; she was smiling and a low purr rippled from her throat in amusement. Yes, she was indeed very very pregnant; incredibly near her time to give birth. And yet here she was at a clan Gathering.
“What is your name?”

Onyxpelt grinned slightly. This time, she was on time. And to be on time was a good thing to be. She stuck near the rest of her clan, because she knew them. But unlike last time, when she'd sat and tried very hard to remain perfectly invisible, she allowed herself to glance around a bit.
She saw Sunpelt and the female from another clan, and shyly stepped that direction. When she was near, she nodded her head in what was probably a gesture of respect- although she always did this whenever she went near a group and wanted to say hello without interrupting. If the others pretended they hadn't seen her, she'd quietly slip off, and spare she and the others trouble. She glanced up, appearing to wait for some sort of okay from Sunpelt- or the Queen- before coming any closer.

Sunpelt nodded, then realized that such a gesture would go unnoticed, before he added in a blurb, "It's not a problem, Blindsong." His ears flicked, warding away a mosquito that happened nearby as he listened to her further speech. He smiled along with her, whiskers twitching in amusement as his back bent for his quarters to rest on the earth, for she didn't appear to be in too much of a hurry to leave. Surely, Sunpelt was a quiet cat, but he wasn't subject to silence, and so, though he was a bit guarded, answered freely when questioned.
"Sunpelt," he answered, his eyes circling the gathering cats before suspending on a pair that bobbed in greeting to the pair. The tom returned the gesture, a smile still plastered on his maw. Turning to the queen, he added, "Onyxpelt wishes to join us." He wasn't sure if the she-cat would object, nor knew of the she-cat's presence, thus the reason behind his voice. Still, it couldn't help to do a rather informal introduction of the cat either.

Onyxpelt stepped slightly closer- although not all the way near the pair.
"I don't have to, I could always find someone else to pester, what with all the other someones," Onyxpelt said lightly. She wasn't going to be at all insulted if they were busy conversing and didn't exactly want her butting in. She was kind of used to that. It didn't even bother her, she would just wander off and sit and watch the goings on, or find someone she might know slightly. At least now she actually knew some of the cats in her own clan. She didn't feel quite as much the stranger anymore.

OOC: Sorry it took me so long to answer Lilystar. Featherstar nodded to Amberstar and then turned back to Lilystar, Yes, things are peaceful between the four Clans. We're still kind of rebuilding afterall. But, she added, her voice quite serious, There's a rumor about a BoneClan being built in the Rouge Meadow that doesn't seem to want to live peacefully. Amberstar was the first to know.

Trillium finally arrived in the clearing, gazing up at her new leader, Lilystar. The Turkish van was perfectly content to not say a word, as she was still flustered with the idea of having her own apprentice. Speaking of which, she looked about to catch a glimpse of Ripplepaw. The kit had been with her on the way up to the gathering place, so she had to be near. Perhaps she was merely socializing on the other side of the group.
Maplepaw followed in the shadow of Blackheart, slightly uncomfortable watching what was being done to Giddykit. Another voice in his head apprehended his feelings. 'It's not like he didn't deserve it,' it said. The apprentice decided that it was so, and broke off toward Onyxpelt, who was standing near Sunpelt and a kind looking queen from another clan. Perhaps if they accepted Onyx, he could approach as well. It couldn't do any harm, of course: he'd never bothered to socialize at the other gatherings he'd been to.

It was hard to just walk. So many faces, so many scents. Giddykit snapped around, but instead of back talking to Darkheart, he was nice. "This is so interesting! How do you do it all without a fight? Aren't they're disagreements?"
As Giddykit kept walking, waiting for an answer, he wondered why he had been aloud to go. Everyone else there was either a Leader, Deputy, Apprentice, or Warrior. Why was he, a Kit aloud to go? Wasn't it against the Warrior Code? He decided he should stick to himself and not tell anyone that he was a Kit. He would definetly pass as a Apprentice.

OoC: Soopa quick post, since I've got to go to bed now. D:
Ripplepaw caught sight of Trillium, and rushed over to her and sat down. She looked up at her mentor, her eyes shining, and she turned her head to gaze at all the gathering cats. She spotted the StoneClan leader and the TreeClan leader, but there was no sign of DuskClan, and thankfully none of the scarred black cat.

The fishy kitty known as Fishstick walked up the hill after his clanmates, trying to be as good as possible. This was his first Gathering after all, and he wanted to impress Rayheart and Amberstar on how good he could be. Still, his whiskers twitched to jump around, chase other cats, pounce on tails, and stick his little nose into all sorts of places to see what was there. He gazed up at the full moon in awe, leaf green eyes sparkling with curiousitty and wonder.
He looked one way then the other, before deciding to just sit here and await the begining for this ritual.
Ooc: Fishstick being good? This can't be! 8o...Off to some other place XD
