OoC: Oh, wait, I thought you were five moons. I'm 9 moons, lol.

So that was what the feeling was! Ripplepaw got over a moment's shock and gave Giddykit a quick lick on the shoulder.
"I think I like you too," she said softly, "but yeah, how will we meet each other?" She stared intently into space as she tried to figure out how. Finally she relaxed her gaze and turned to Giddykit.
"How about we try our hardest to go to every Gathering? Or maybe.... we could somehow sneak off to somewhere.... Oh, I got it!" the apprentice exclaimed not-very-quietly, then looked around worriedly.
"Maybe," she continued, dropping her voice to a whisper and surrounding her head with her paws. "Maybe we could sneak off to Rouge Meadow every now and then!"

Giddykit nodded his head. "I can't start seeing you until I become an Apprentice." He whispered, "I'm being guarded every single minute of the day." Giddykit shook his head, trying to let Ripplepaw know that he didn't want to tell her the story about it. "You'll know when I become an Apprentice," he said. He selted down again. "Yep," he said, "I really like you."

ooc| Er, apprentices can't fall in love.. And that was like, the first time they've met each other, right? xD

They can have little crushes but they can't sneak off like that. They're too young.

OoC: Okay, now that I think about, it is a tad unrealistic, but maybe it's not exactly looove, just a crush-thing. ;; As everyone saw from the Heartless and Goldenblaze pairing, they knew each other for only about 2 days before they fell in love. This is kitten love, so it's probably a more random relationship? They can still sneak off, though. No one noticed when the MistClan cats got kidnapped! xD

I have no where else to post, so I might as well come here for it. Here's my probably unwanted opinion.

I.) On one hand, they did just meet, and besides that, they're very, very young.

II.) Maybe they could just be friends at first, then develop a crush, and keep seeing each other, et cetera, then when they're warriors, it turns into love?

By the way, what warrior names do you guys have in mind?

As for my warrior name, at first I was thinking of Ripplestream, but that was kinda unoriginal, so now I want Ripplefrost. 8) Besides, I like snow. xD

The tom stared expectantly up at the Hill, waiting for Amberstar and the Stoneclan leader to make their announcements... Or at least he was, until Giddykit began to move around some. Looking down to see what he was doing, Sunpelt's amber pools witnessed the two kits, whispering low enough for him not to hear, talk to each other. Narrowing his gaze, he raised one paw and let it rest on Giddykit's tail. One claw pricked at it lightly to get his attention. When the kit will look up at him, Sunpelt would say, "Come, Giddykit, since you can't seem to learn to hold your tongue." Standing up, Sunpelt would escort the kit back to where Blindsong sat, making sure that he remained between his paws when they sat down.

"Let me go you big brute!" Giddykit shouted quietly, "I wasn't doing any harm! It's Amberstar who's takin' too long! I would be paying attention if she'd walk her big cat butt up and speak!" Giddykit bit softly on Sunpelt's paw to show he wasn't happy. All the while, he looked sadly at Ripplepaw. They wouldn't be able to whisper happily to each other for the rest of the night.

The golden warrior was about to say something, when tiny, prickly teeth pierced his paw. Hissing at the kit, he easily shook him off. With the other paw, he gave him a hard cuff to the head, his claws sheathed to prevent the kit a serious beating. "Respect your warriors. Respect your leader. But most of all, respect the warrior code, kit. Otherwise you'll have to take care of the elders for the rest of your life. You hear me, Giddykit." His reprimand was quiet, yet it was full of the seriousness and dour consequence he could muster. There was no room for argument there, and as the warrior coiled his tail about his frame, remaining cool even under the scrutiny of the surrounding cats. There's a great warrior in this kit, but he must respect the warrior code in order to get there he reminded himself, staring squarely at the kit until he, too, would come to sit, quiet and peaceful like.

Giddykit met Sunpelt's gaze and shot his toung out at him. "If you bug me a little more I might not be at TreeClan long enough to take care of the stupid Elders! This (insert bad word) Warrior Code stinks!" he shouted quietly, but loud enough for Ripplepaw to hear.

The kits words angered the warrior, his tail tip flicking as he fought to control his impulse to lash out at him. Instead, he closed his eyes, which helped in calming him till his tail tip stopped twitching. A deep sigh, and then the senior warrior spoke, "Tell ya what, Giddykit. You just pipe down for the rest of this Gathering. If you do, I'll let you say goodbye to your friends," he flicked his tail towards the direction Ripplepaw and Icepaw were sitting, "Then we'll discuss the merits of the Warrior Code. Sound like a deal?" Sunpelt bargained, his face passive, while inwardly he wouldn't know what to do if the kit decided to be stubborn... Other then give him a licking he very much deserved... Even so, he knew that the latter wouldn't work with the headstrong kit. He just hoped that Giddykit would accept, otherwise further trouble could be brought onto the the young furball.

When will the Gathering end?

It's been a long time. Amberstar doesn't seem like she's going to post anytime soon, I'm afraid. Cats are waiting to be accepted, and the Gathering is holding the leaders back.

Onyxpelt flattened her ears back as she heard Giddykit arguing with Sunpelt. Her tail whipped back and forth twice, and then she shrugged her shoulders, calming herself down. No need to get all huffy. That would do more harm then good, anyway. Besides the fact that Sunpelt was more than capable of handling Giddykit on his own and probably did NOT need anyone making it difficult for him by starting a -to put it bluntly- catfight.

OOC: Where is Amberstar? It's like she disappeared!

Brindlepaw was growing anxious. Amberstar had yet to speak and some of TreeClan were getting roudy. A young looking cat, probably an apprentice, was arguing with a large golden warrior. Brindlepaw was startled when the kit had insulted the Warrior Code, her neck fur bristling, but lying flat as the warrior delt with him in a calm manner.
If it were her, she would've cuffed him so hard he wouldn't remember what he had eaten for breakfast....but it was a Gathering, there was no place for such thoughts.
