OOC: This is meant to take place after Lillystar talks with Kestrel. Lillystar walked back into the main center of camp as calmly as possible. The wind tore at her fur, but she ignored it, for there were more important matters at paw. She leaped up onto the large rock above her den and yowled to call her cats to attention.
"All cats old enough to catch their own prey, gather before me for a clan meeting!" She didn't call the youngest cats, because this did not pertain to them and she knew they would listen anyway. "You all need to know that just moments ago, I spoke with Kestrel, leader of the rogue clan called RisingClan." "There is no need to fear her, her clan is good and wishes to destroy the evil that is BoneClan...for they are rapers and murderers...responsible for many deaths..." "I have agreed to give her our aid, but from my warriors only...I will not put the kits or apprentices' lives in jeopardy..." "What I need to know is who will join me...?"
She looked around at her cats, hoping against hope that at least some would oblige. Shadowstreak had just padded back into camp upon hearing the call of her leader. She looked down at her apprentice beside her, worrying for her safety if she was to go. She wanted to serve her leader and certainly to banish evil from these lands, but could she leave Icepaw mentorless if she was not to come back?

Rustpaw looked around quizzically, then narrowed his eyes and bounded to the front of the cluster of cats, all different shades and sizes. I may be no warrior, but I shall join you, to avenge Honeymist! She was my friend, and I wish never to let Boneclan get away with such another treachery... He yowled, tail bushing. His tail flicked, his eyes ablaze. He trusted Honeymist.. She was one of his first friends, beside the counterparts of the kit trio.. Ripplepaw, Umberpaw. He'd gone a long way since then.
A pair of light orange orbs peered from the crowd, a grin of idiocy on his face. He admired the leader, even if it was no laughing matter. Determined to fix this, October sat straighter, attempting to frown and furrow his brow, managing only to look like a primitive feline. Had this been a lighter matter, it would have gotten quite a few laughs. Perhaps he still could, for even in the darkest of worlds, there was light, for how would they find their way in the dark?

OoC: I finally decided to come back to rping-life. FORGIVE ME!! D: And woah, I think this is my longest post ever?
Ripplepaw, who had fallen asleep again while waiting for her missing mentor, blinked and sat up. Her pelt bristled in alarm as she caught the scent of a stranger but then she realised that the smell was not too new. Whoever the stranger was, they probably had left already. She rose to her paws and, hearing Lillystar speaking, padded over to the High Rock and sat down next to a random cat. Looking to her side, there was a flash of recognition. Rustpaw was back! She gave a small purr of hello, and turned back to Lillystar, flicking her ears as she heard Rustpaw's words, bringing back painful memories of Honeymist's cold body. Her gazed hardened as she recalled the scarred black tom who had raped her, the first black cat who had kidnapped the kind she-cat and Ripplepaw's mentor, Trillium, and of course, she all too clearly remembered the cannibal she-cat who had inflicted the wounds that Umberpaw had just recovered from, and Ripplepaw lifted her head defiantly.
"Apprentice or not, I too will join the battle! Those cats... They're the reason why Umberpaw was injured! They're the reason why Honeymist is dead!" Ripplepaw hissed, leaping to her paws. She glared at the calm leader. Why shouldn't the apprentices join? Three of them did battle with BoneClan, once before, one of them being Ripplepaw herself. But Lillystar did have her reasons, after all. She realised how disrespectful she had been, and her fiery temper subsided. She sat back down, hanging her head. When she spoke once more, her voice was soft.
"They're the reason why our clans will always be danger, and innocent cats and loners risk getting killed."
She raised her head again, determination blazing in her green eyes. "Please let Rustpaw and me come, Lillystar."

[ if i should die within this hour ]
A look of worry and harsh concentration crossed the noble toms face, as he drew foreward, heeding the call of his leader. Her speech did nothing but ignite a blazing fire and fury within his chest, and with every rise and fall of his breath, his urge to join the war grew. Some could say that Double was addicted to battle, but they would have to be looking at him through a red tinted glass - Double was merely eager, ready and willing to risk his life for his Clan. It was a matter of honour, obeying the thoughts and ideals aside which he had grown up.
The warrior drew up behind the two apprentices, and gently preesed his nose against the tops of their heads. "Hush, little ones." He said softly and calmy, glancing to Lillystar, as if wanting permission from her before disuading the two apprentices from their folly. His odd coloured eyes returning to the two, he spoke again, proudly this time. "Our Clan shall never be in danger, for its Warriors will guard it with their lives. But we must not risk losing our next generation of brave Warriors, too. This is a dangerous time, children, and you would do best to take care of the camp whilst we are gone." He smiled quietly, his chest puffed out with pride, as he realised that he would now be ready to prove his worth to his Clan. Lillystar had not yet seen the extent of the tom cats talents, for indeed MistClan were not confrontational cats, but now.. perhaps she would appriciate the Warrior whom was barely acknowledged within the Clan.
"Your time will come." He finished softly, before stepping foreward, eyes raised to Lillystar as he stood tall and regal. "I am forever at the service of the Clan, Lillystar - ready and willing to avenge whatever crime of the past that rallies you all so." It was true that Double had absolutely no idea who BoneClan were, and had no relationship to whatever they may or may not have done; but it was his way to believe anything his leader told him. Lillystar would have true reason for this battlecry, the youngsters would have true reason for their strong wishes to accompany the warriors; therefore, Doubleheart had true reason to live up to his Warrior name.

"I don't care!" It was Giddypaw, who had been playing Mossball, and heard the call. He came out to hear what had been said. Furry raged in his eyes and heart. He bounded up to join Rustpaw and Ripplepaw standing close by his love. "Oh please let me go Lillystar!" he pleaded, "I must avenge the death of my father, Sunray!"
The tom remembered the fatefull day when he had left his father for the last time to go and join his true love, Ripplepaw, out in MistClan. He remembered his father calling how he hated him and that he litterally went crazy. He remembered how it had come to him in a dream, that Sunray was dead, killed by his own stepsister's sister! But still, the bright orange tom was his father, and it wasn't like he had tried to kill him. Giddypaw just had to go!
And he could fight too. In those few months in the "Tribe", his father, Sunray, had taught him well. And he, being the cat that believes his siblings should be him, passed his learnings on to Streampaw.

Andromeda wasn't so sure how good a fighter she'd be... and she wasn't sure it was fair to her apprentice to just up and leave to go fight.
Then again, she also felt a strong loyalty already to Lillystar and the other cats she barely knew, and would do anything in her power to protect the clan that had taken her in. She stared at the ground, unsure of how to deal with this conundrum. What would happen to the clan if all the warriors went and things went badly? She agreed they should do something about Boneclan. They obviously had to be stopped... but Andromeda just wasn't sure she'd be a good one to go off fighting. Still, she supposed if they needed her, she'd gladly enough go.

She didn't care if she couldn't fight but this was her first real clan meeting and she was happy to hear the words. Ringkit came running out of the nursary and came to sit and lisen."what!"she siad her tabby fur rising in alarm."who's boneclan? can they kill us! we need to get then before they get us! who's kestrel and risingclan?"She sat down with her voice rising as each question came to her."and and wh do cats have to go?"

Lillystar's head swum with the questions and pleas that bombarded her from every angle. She tried to determine what cats she would absolutely insist go and what cats she could spare. Finally, gathering her thoughts, she waved her tail for silence and spoke once again.
"Please everyone, remain calm, I shall now tell you what I wish for you all to do!" she said. Despite the turmoil they now faced, her voice was clear and calm. "I would like Shadowstreak, Trillium, Doubleheart, Wishclaw, Battledream, Blockhead, Medium and Contrast as my warriors..." "I don't want Oddeye fighting and Hawkeye should look after her and their son." "I also leave Andromeda and Silverthroat here to look after the camp and the apprentices and kits, and also Ocotber, forgive me but you are more ready to go to the elder's den than to fight vicious rogues...I apologize for any cats that are not able to come, but this is my decision..."
Looking down at the younger cats, she added, "Rustpaw, I regret your replacement, but when you dissapeared I had no choice...now that you are back I can see you are a fine young cat." "It seems appropriate, since you were already far older than most apprentices, to make you a warrior and I will also formally accept my new members!"
"Hawkeye, Oddeye, Medium, Contrast and Blockhead I formally accept you as full warriors of this clan!" "Dodgepaw, I formally accept you as an apprentice of MistClan and until we are able to return, Hawkeye will continue your mentoring!" "Rustpaw, from this moment on you will be known as Rustshade and I accept you as a full warrior of MistClan!" "Ravenpaw, you shall be known from this moment on as Ravenfeather, and are also a full warrior of MistClan!" "May StarClan look down on these cats and give them their blessing..." "You both may join us in the battle!"
"When we return, I shall make some of the kits apprentices and perhaps some of the apprentices warriors...but that shall all have to wait...for war is upon us..." "That is my final word, please accept it and do your best with the roles I have given you..." She quieted and paused to catch her breath. OOC: *spasm* SO....MANY...NAMES..... If I forgot anyone, please let me know XD

OoC: Rustshade, Ripplepaw, Umberpaw, and Icepaw are all the same age. xD
Ripplepaw gave an small growl under her breath and her tail flicked and twitched agitatedly. So she was going to be left behind with the kits and new apprentices, at thirteen moons of age. But they wouldn't be able to leave her in the camp, oh no they wouldn't. She had so much to get back at BoneClan for, so much more than she knew what for herself. But Rustpaw, no, Rustshade was going. That was good, and he could avenge Honeymist's death, but she wanted to do so as well. Lucky Rustshade, already a warrior. She turned to the dark-pelted tom. "Congratulations, Rustshade!" The silver apprentice grinned at her kit-hood friend. "Amazing name, by the way. Suits you perfectly." There was no jealousy in Ripplepaw's voice, and happiness for the new warrior shone in her eyes, but there was also something else. The start of a plan, maybe?

His eyes lit for a moment, but died quickly as he heard Ripplepaw wasn't going with. He looked down, but up at his friend as she approached. But.. You can't come with.. He said sadly, almost shamefully. But he paused, remembering, to look up at Lillystar and nod his head with honor. He returned his long gaze to his silver she-friend. Perhaps you can find a way to help. Possibly Umberpaw may come, just to prove herself as a medicine cat. You can help her.. I don't know, I can't think of anything... He answered sadly.

((We are)) peices of a falling star -- Barely a day in camp, and battle already.
Contrast's voice was sickeningly bright and high as she chirped, "Yes! Time to time to beat those wretched BoneClanners to the ground!"
Medium had his one-eyebrow-raised expression once more, and nodded. "Ok," he said. BoneClan certainly did not sound like a...friendly bunch. And so Medium would fight for his new home; as much as he disliked battle -or so he told himself- sometimes it was worthwhile.
A small part of him enjoyed the thrill of battle, but he thought that was the part of him that was most crazy anyway.
Actually, Medium was suprised that the leader even remembered his name. Mayhaps his luck was looking up.

Giddykit watched as cats crowded together to leave. His face was full of even more fury, and now sadness, hearing he couldn't go. "NO!!" he yowled, "WHY FATHER!! WHY WON'T YOU LET ME COME FOR YOU?" The tom sang his head and sat down, beginning to grieve. "Why?" he whispered crying, "Why StarClan, have you forsaken me?" Bane had almost killed him. Bane had ordered a dewel so that Sunray might get into BoneClan, but he ended up being killed instead. Was Bane's earthly power possibly greater than StarClan's? Was there another path he walked?

OOC: Are you ALL gonna beg me to bring the apprentices? XD And sorry I had no idea they were the same age...maybe if it comes to it she will let them come, but they will not be made warriors until after the battle, it'll be their test to prove themselves as worthy warriors of MistClan. I am not favoriting Rustshade, its just Cinder has been gone so long that his mentor even felt the need to apprentice another...so I felt he deserved it. Thats not to say the others don't, I just figured it would be easier to make him a warrior and let him fight, than to try and rework the mentor fiasco...^^;;;

Lillystar again heard the complaints of the apprentices and she had to admit they were getting to her. The stories of betrayal and bloodshed pulled at her heart and she wanted to let them go, but could she really, as a good leader?
"Enough!" she caterwauled, drowning out all the other voices. She lashed her tail, wanting quiet. After a moment she went on. "I suppose if it means that much to you all...you may go...but ONLY the older apprentices!" "I will NOT allow kits to fight against rogues, it would be pure suicide!" "Rustshade is already coming, but Icepaw, Ripplepaw, Nyria, Amara, Giddypaw, and Streampaw may come if they choose..." "If Umberpaw wishes, she may come along to practice her duties as a medicine cat." "I would like Dodgepaw to stay with his family...for...reasons they shall explain to him when they are ready..." She looked gravely at the kit for moment, but just as fast, her attention went back to the rest of her Clan.
"You shall all go on your own wishes...I am not responsible for how you fight in this battle, but I hope you all come back in one piece..." "Think of it as a test of your skills and perhaps you will be made warriors when we return!" She was silent then, waiting for a response. She felt at once both defeated and strengthened.

OoC: YAY!
"I hope I can, then." Ripplepaw gave a small sigh. "If not, then I'll just sneak off-" She stopped in mid-sentence as Lillystar spoke again, tilting her head to look at the MistClan leader. Ripplepaw's flattened ears perked up, and with a mrrow of excitement she playfully tackled Rustshade.
"Scratch that, I'm coming with you!" There was a glint of mischief in her eyes. She leapt back and flicked Giddypaw's ear with her tail. "And you are too! You can stop yowling now. We'll show BoneClan this time!"
Ripplepaw stepped back from the two toms and gazed around the cavern.
"We'll show them."

Umberpaw sat near the back, near the large behemoth of a feline known as Battledream. She was quiet, so very quiet, but after she listened to all words spoken, she finally rose her head.
“I will come. My…my mother’s in Boneclan. She killed and ate my brother! She needs to be stopped!”
Rising to her paws, she padded over to join Ripplepaw and Rustshade.

Battledream had also remained quiet, but the large she-cat rose to her paws and followed the apprentice as she joined her friends. She didn’t join the trio, however, her gaze was on Lillystar.
“I led my own clan to war, once Lillystar. If you need any advice, and guidance…I’m more than willing to assist.”
Led…her clan?
Had Battledream once been a clan leader?
So little was know of the massive she-cat, it was difficult to say.
