|ooc| You can't say you automatically hit her. That's considered 'powerplaying,' or 'auto-hitting,' if you will. It's not such a big deal here.

“Ripplepaw!”
Umberpaw was shocked by the small tom’s behavior, but she refused to let it stop her as she lightly raced to her close friend’s side.
“Are you alright? Where did he claw?”
Already her mind picked though the proper herbs to treat the injury, but they varied depending upon the severity of the slash.

Ringkit backed away from Ripplepaw as the other cat came up."He!I'm a she-cat!"she told the other cat."And I wasn't trying to hurt her, just get her ready for the war-thing."She looked down at her paws."i'm sorry."she mumbled then ran off to help bring down(kidding) Shadowstreak.

Oh blast. He had missed the mark, striking a different cat instead. An almost gleeful giggle escaped the kit’s mouth, as he bounded backwards to sit down. The paw which struck the she-cat apprentice, Ripplepaw was it, was drawn to his mouth, and the scruffy kit lapped her blood delicately from his claws.
Small they may be now, but they’d grow to be much much more dangerous.
His orange eyes glowed ever brighter as blood lust swamped his senses, a small snarl was emitted, and he slashed and bit at his own right foreleg a few times, drawing blood which he lapped up in the same manner he did hers.

Actually, when you say you did something to the other cat, and give them no chance to, you know, block or something, it is Power Playing. No matter how much damage you do. Even if you don't do any.
For instance, if I wrote, right this second, that Andromeda went over and smacked Murderkit upside the head and sent him tumbling, that would be powerplaying.
Now, if I said Andromeda went over and tried to bowl Murderkit over with a well aimed smack, that would not be. Murderkit would be able to respond and say Andromeda either hit, or not.
Power play is not dependant on amount of damage done. That would be God Moding, or it is at another forum, and that's quite another thing.

OOC: Man I feel like I came in so late in the game...XD Shadowstreak's eyes widened in terror when she realized that kit was trying to blind her. She pulled her head back, just as Ripplepaw jumped between them. Letting out her breath in one long gust, she tried to regain herself. That more than startled her, the tiny kit had really frightened her. Wasn't he just playing...?
"Alright, that's enough, from all of you!" she called out to Murderkit, Ringkit and Hollykit. "Play fights are fine, but not when someone gets hurt!" She then turned her attention to Ripplepaw and her badly snared shoulder. "I'm sorry you got hurt...but thank you for that, I might owe you my sight..." she murmured to the silvery apprentice. "Go ahead and get her treated Umberpaw...I'll see to this kit..." Standing and padding over to the tiny orange form, she was appalled to see him savaging his own leg.
"What are you doing?!" she exclaimed, horrified at the tears he was inflicting. "Stop that before you bleed to death!" Using her paw, she grasped Murderkit's jaws and tried to pry them off of his leg.

((We are)) peices of a falling star -- Medium stared, his dark amber eyes wide with suprise.
Contrast leaped forward with a shrill cry, looking desperately pretty as she ran to help the others and that demented little kit. Of course, she always looked pretty. That was Contrast.
Medium padded closer, curious and unafraid. She was not a cat who stuck out in a crowd. In fact, most had difficulty merely remembering his face, let alone his name.
There was something terribly wrong with that kitten.
"Eh, Contrast--" he began, then shut his mouth.
She wasn't paying any attention. She would probably get hurt for her troubles, too.
He sidled through the small crowd to stand beside the dark-coated she-cat attempting to pry the kit's jaws from his leg. He leaned in and attempted to help Shadowstreak detain the kit.

OoC: Muahahaha, fear the short post.
"Better my shoulder than your sight, I guess." Ripplepaw gave Shadowstreak a slight grin that twisted into a wince. Giving the wound a small lick, she turned to Umberpaw. "I think I'm alright. He only got my shoulder," she meowed, arching her back to show the medicine cat apprentice the wound. "Sharp claws for a kit, and a scaary unpredictability to go with them."

Rustshade was growing absolutely appaled at the sight before him, and he rushed to help Umberpaw get Ripplepaw to the medicine cat's den, wanting to be of some use here. Shadowstreak was already taking care of her attacker...
And then a sight that appalled him even more..
Murderkit. Chewing at his own.. Leg??
He quirked his head and came astride Ripplepaw, looking for his other friend Umberpaw for help.
The kitten trio had been through a lot, and Rustshade had grown fond of them both.
Shame Ripplepaw had fallen for the Giddypaw, and Umberpaw was a medicine cat. Ah well, there was bound to be somebody for him.

((We are)) peices of a falling star -- "Did that kit hurt anyone?" Contrast called, her pretty eyes wide and concerned.
Medium awaited the answer. He himself would never get an answer, only because cats' eyes landed on him...and kept right on going. He was not memorable; that's what his family always said: "You're just not...memorable, Medium."

Andromeda glanced around as all Hell broke loose, and she wasn't really able to do anything but stand around and watch. At least someone had put a stop to it. The light-greyish she-cat kneaded the ground self consciously. She was new, of course, they'd of noticed her if she'd been around longer than, oh, a few hours.
She glanced around to see if there was anyone not joining in this chaos. Two cats- one that she had overlooked at least five times, and another- she thought his name was Rustshade. Andromeda wasn't sure the one would want to be bothered, and anyway, he was standing by his sister- the bright one who Andromeda had noticed as many times as she hadn't noticed the other. Odd, that.
So that left Rustshade. Andromeda crept over- well, very nearly crept. It was more like a hesitant sidle, really, like trying to be noticed and trying to not be noticed all at once!
"Are things... often this chaotic?" she asked.

((We are)) peices of a falling star -- Medium glanced at the gray she-cat and on a whim decided to introduce himself. She and this...was it Rustshade? ...They were slightly removed from the chaos.
He stepped forward. "Eh, hello," he meowed, his voice slightly overloud to get the other's attention. Most cats needed to be shouted at to look at him. "I'm new here, and I haven't been able to get a word in edgewise with all this chaos!" he uttered a short but good-natured laugh. "I'm Medium."

Rustshade looked up, then looked about himself..
To make sure she was talking to him, of course. Rustshade, like the two cats here, were never really noticed. He just hung around the insane black cat October hoping his insanity wasn't contagious.
He gave a kind smile, tail flicking as he lowered his head to the female. Not particularly. Things are just out of hand, especially with Boneclan and Risingclan in our midsts. It is not in our customs, as of yet. Plus, there are many kits who love to frolic. I don't know precisely why it is today, where you have made your aquantaince to Mistclan, that they chose to create a Riot.

A slight grin lit Andromeda's face as the unnoticed cat came over to say hello as well. So now the three of them were standing around being unnoticed together.
"Perhaps we're just... riot inciting types, us rowdy newcomers," she remarked softly, with a funny little grin. Was Andromeda making a joke? Yes, indeed.
"I'm Andromeda," she added a moment later, belatedly realizing she hadn't introduced herself.
