Sapho padded quietly into the Stoneclan camp and dropped his fresh kill on the pile. Looking around the camp he asked,
"Is anybody here?" Sapho's voice echoed in the high mountain peaks. "Could I be of help to anyone?"

The new cat padded quietly into the Main Camp of Stoneclan, and paused a moment. There was no one here? Wait, yes there was. Now how did one just miss a cat standing in the middle of the place?
Then again, Spellbound had managed often enough to be unnoticed. This time he was simply on the other side. He stood there awkwardly for a moment.
"It would appear there is, indeed, almost no one here," the white furred cat commented, bowing his head in friendly greeting.

Rainheart followed Sapho back to camp. He called out. It had become pretty empty, until a voice came. (ooc:sorry, couldnt think of anything else... )

"Hello there!" said Brighteye cheerily. She looked around in approval. It was quite an impressive camp, even though her bright orange-red coat looked out of place in the gray stone. "I'm new. Who are you? Are you doing something important? Can I help?" She sat down next to the other cat and gave him one of her trademark huge grins. She looked the other cat straight in the eye with her own powerful blue ones. "I'm Brighteye, by the way."

Sapho jumped, startled at the other cats voices.
"Um... Hi,"Sapho returned the nod, "Cats call me Sapho. This is only my second time to the camp so I guess you could say I'm a new comer to Stoneclan."
He turned to look more directly at Brighteye,
"No I'm not doing anything important. I just thought the fresh kill pile was almost down so I went hunting and met Rainheart down there."
Sapho looked at his paws he was shy with new cats and didn't know what to expect.

Brighteye chuckled, realizing that she might have overwhelemed the other cat.
"Well Sapho, it has been a pleasure meeting you. Sooo... what should I do now?" she shuffled her feet, suddenly uncertain. "I mean, anything that needs doing, I'll do." She stood up straighter, proud to be a part of a clan.

The spotted cat looked up,
"A pleasure meeting you too Brighteye. I don't know what we should do perhaps the white cat could tell us." Sapho turned and rested his amber gaze on Spellbound, " Could you show us around,..." Sapho paused trying to remember the cat's name,"I don't think I caught your name."

The tiny white and grey kit bounded around, more like a dance, rather. She was excited and found no better outlet than dancing and singing. She opened her mouth to sing something, but she stopped with her mouth wide open, looking like she was about to pelt out lyrics, but then closed it, looking puzzled. She smiled again as she had thought of something. Jadekit pranced over to the freshkill pile and picked a brightly colored finch. She sat and immediately began plucking the brightest wing and tummy feathers off, using her teeth. She would eat it in a moment, but now, she was running on inspiration! Jadekit expertly placed the feathers behind her ears and atop her head, looking like a show-girl cap. Oh yes, she had done it. Now it was time.
Ahem...
Oh! Her name was Lola! She was a showgirl! She had bright feathers in her hair, Jadekit proceded to flaunt her show-girl cap. And a dress down to there! Shimmy shimmy. She could marenge! And do the chacha! Duh nuh nuh nuh nuh! Don't know the rest!
She ended her song with a few steps back and a twirl, doing a deep bow, holding a paw out in front of her.

Brighteye had been totally fascinated by the dancing cat until Rainheart spoke.
"Well hello there," she said with another cheery smile (she couldn't seem to stop smiling these days). "I dont suppose you know your way around this place, or what's to be done, or who that dancing cat is?"

Spellbound tried to keep track of names. He really did. He really failed, but he did try.
"I'm, uh, Spellbound," he replied a little late to the one who'd asked his name... he'd forgotten that cat's name. Typical. Remember the longest trick ever invented in history, but a simple name? Not Spellbound, no. Never the easy things, always the hard ones, that's what he remembered.
"We're all new? I suppose we could probably logic out a bit of what's what around here," he said. A moment later he ruined the semi intelligence of the idea by adding in a dry voice, "That, for instance, has to be a rock, as it's... hard, and grey... and very stoneish looking."
He never made it clear he was joking, not usually. You had to learn that when his voice took on that tone, it was a joke. Or that he got the ever slightest of wicked grins on his face when joking. But probably not many he'd just met would catch this, and he'd been known to throw more than one cat off guard with that dry wit. Indeed, it seemed as if he'd just meant every word he'd just said about the rock. Unless you were very observant, of course.(( ))

Jadekit giggled and lept atop said rock. She preteneded to be very serious, analzying it. Really? It struck me more as a rabbit. Can't you see it's tail? She had used the same humor the tom had used, playing along. She mocked confusion as she 'examined' the rock again. She shrugged, To each his own. She was having too much fun with this.

"Ah, yes. I see. And how did a rabbit come to be a rock? Sounds like magic to me," the white tom said, clearly amused.
"Magic?! That's not magic. Lunacy is what you call it. Here I am minding my business and the next minute I'm a rock. A rock!" the rock said. Yes, the rabbit rock had just spoken. Rather indignantly, too.
Or had it?

Jadekit grinned, Why yes, this rabbit was the subject of dark magic! It had stolen from Twolegs, and in return, the man used his mythical powers to turn the poor creature into stone! And here it is, forever to be in StoneClan's possession. The story unfurled in her mind that very moment! She made her voice more theatrical than before. Oh ho! But how, you ask, did the statuesque lapine come to live in StoneClan camp? Quite simple really! The kind and generous Featherstar, found the poor beast out in the open and took pity on it! She said to he, "Pray, unfortunate rabbit, would you like to come to my home where you will be among rocks like yourself? Where you will be safe from weather and from wind?" He replied gleefully, "Thank you kind feline, I would be much obliged. Take me to your home." And so! The great Featherstar called to her warriors and they brought him back to this camp for him to forever live and prosper! While telling the tall tale, she had made great sweeping motions with her paws and was quite the entertainer. She was a extraordinary story teller, one would forget that she was a kit while she was speaking.

Brighteye chuckled.
"I see. You are an interesting one, young kit." She peered at the little cat closely. She could see a certain plucky quality, a twinkle in the kit's eyes, that told her this one was a handfull. But there was something else, too. This kit had clearly not had it easy all her life. She reminded Brighteye equally of brisk, energizing spring mornings and lazy summer afternoons. "What is your name?"
Brighteye barely suppressed a shiver. It suprised her sometimes, the things she suddenly knew about a cat, sometimes at just a glance.

Rainheart laughed aloud. These cats were crazy, but had a good sense of humor."Oops!Guess I was having too much fun!" She suddenly felt energetic and started chasing her own tail! "Whoa, that's fun!" she exclaimed. "So, what do you guys do for fun?"

Sapho grinned, he hadn't been this cheerful since years before. The kit seemed quite lively.
"For fun?" Sapho mewed," I don't know sometimes at my old territory I'd climb up this cliff and then jump off into this huge lake. But in the winter I'd stare up the clouds. Look at that one. It kind of looks like a horse."
