"I admit defeat!" Spellbound laughed. Defeat in what, he wasn't sure. But this little kit had definitely trumped his silly voice throwing trick. She seemed to be quite the performer, that one. Still grinning, Spellbound turned to the cat who'd asked what everyone did for fun.

"Hmmm, I disappear. Or throw my voice, or turn feathers into leaves and back again!" he said. Glancing up, he saw the cloud the one cat was talking about. It did look like a horse. Spellbound thought that was pretty darn nifty.

"Seems we wouldn't be the only creatures here, what with stone rabbits and cloud horses," he commented.

[Bovine]

Jadekit was delighted that she had made the others smile. She gladly asnwered the two cats' questions,
My name is Jadekit Tolouse de Lafayette. Or Jadekit. While she said her full name, she held her head a little bit higher, proud of the name. It reminded her so much of her mother. She gave a peaceful grin before she continued, I like to tell stories and sing. When I was on my own, traveling, I had to keep myself company, so I sang about what I saw and heard and made up stories. She giggled, I also talk to the birds. Crazy right? They inspire me to sing, their voices all different and beautiful, their feathers painting pictures in my mind.
She stuck her tongue out as she tried to make her eyes see the top of her head, where the orange, red, yellow, and black feathers were perched. She shook her head and they fluttered to the ground, she had never seen snow before, but that's what it looked like; the first flakes of winter drifting to the earth below.

I think I'm gonna like it here. StoneClan; Home of Stone Rabbits, Cloud Horses, and Delightful Company.

Sapho was so happy that someone had come to accept him into his new clan.

"I think all just call you Jadekit." Sapho laughed "If I started singing every living thing within Stoneclan boundaries would pass out and that rabbit rock would split."

Sapho looked around,

"Have you ever noticed how much it echos in here? It's kinda freaky."

[rainheart]

"Hmmm.. no,it actually looks like a deer...prancing. Like me!" all of sudden, Rainheart started to dance and jump. She was pretty lively today."Sorry, I just felt so FREE", she exaggerated.

[sapho]

Sapho shivered as "free" echoed in the camp.

"Shhh! That freaks me out."

"Oops!Sorry!" it was kinda freaky. But Rainheart knew she could adjust soon."So, what do you guys do for fun around here?" she asked the Clan cats.

[Onyxdart]

Spellbound perked both ears forward. There WAS an echo. He'd missed it!

Ah, but what fun he could have with this. A cat who can throw his voice, and a camp that echoes. But not now. No, then thered be no amusement left for when he got really bored. Or when he needed to get someone's attention by trying to nearly run them into rocks. Not that he was so mean spirited as to actually let them run into rocks! He'd stop long before it came to that. But honestly, who ever ran into rocks anyway, except people not paying attention?

Lost in thought, and walking in a slow circle around the camp to semi investigate, Spellbound nearly did just this. With a displeased half mrow, he stopped nose to nose with the big rock and flicked his tail before turning and walking parallel to it.

[rainheart]

"What are you doing?" Rainheart asked with a curious voice." Is that what you do for fun?'' she mrrowed with pleasure.

Sapho smiled looking around at his clan mates.

"Where is everyone?" he asked as his grin faded last time I was here there were many more cats"

[rainheart]

Rainheaart looked around. He was right: practically no one was here. "Yea,where did they go? Did a fox eat 'em up?" she meowed jokingly.

"You mean do I run into rocks for fun? No. Not unless they're rabbits," Spellbound said, trotting back towards the others. He sniffed the air. The smell of several cats that weren't here right now laced the air. He reason this had to mean they hadn't been gone for long.

"Maybe they're having some super secret pow-wow without all of us," he commented, sitting and tapping his tail lazily on the ground. Of course, he didn't know about the gathering... but whenever he'd been able to find his owner of old, the man had been off somewhere having a "meeting"- usually with one or another fellow magician, but sometimes with a pretty girl or the local bar.

"I'm sure they'll return sooner or later," he added a moment later, pausing in looking around the camp to stare intently at his tail for several long moments.

Pounce! Miss. Spellbound sat up and flicked his tail spasmodically as if he'd purposefully missed it.

[Brighteye]

Brighteye had sat for several minutes, overcome by everyone and everything. She had been very wrong. This place was nothing like the one she had come from. And this made her very, very happy.

So... she said, it looks as if we are all travelers. And we have all found a home. Everyone sat quiet, for moment. Then Brighteye pulled another grin, strecthing Life is a wonder, is it not?

[rainheart]

"Mmmm, so true" Rainheart replied thoughtfully. "Um, actually, what are all you guys' names? I only know Sapho. And Jadekit." Rainheart asked.

[Brighteye]

I am called Brighteye she said, and gazed around curiously. She didn't really know anyone here either.

[Onyxdart]

"Spellbound, pleased to meet you," said the magic cat with a half bow and dignified flip of his tail. Then he sat neatly, clearly amused at something- maybe his overly dramatic bow, but one could never know with this cat. He could as easily be amused by that twig over there as anything else. Or maybe he was only pretending, just to throw you off guard.

[Brighteye]

So Sapho is Sapho, Rainheart is Rainheart, Jadekit is Jadekit, Spellbound is Spellbound, and I am me. Lovely. Brighteye chuckled.

[Bovine]

Jadekit could tell she was going to like this strange bunch of cats.
Indeed we are, she giggled, immitating Spellbound's bow, the feathers falling from behind her ears, fluttering to the gruond gracefully. She held her smile for a moment, until she looked down at the feathers that layed on the stone floor. She had a quizzical look on her face, brow furrowed, Mmhmm....yeah? That's strange... She seemed to be speaking to the feathers! Was she mad?!
I should say not!
She looked from the fluffs of black gold and orange, to the sky, there were clouds in the night sky. Wait....wasn't there a gathering going on?
She looked back to the ground and then to her friends, I think someone's being a cranky-pants over at the Great Hill. The feathers told me so. And if you looked at the tiny fluffy heap, you could see why, there was a round flat stone of to the side, the feathers looked like angry clouds whisping around the stone-moon.
What a clever young'un.

"Indeed? Cranky-pants sounds serious indeed," Spellbound said with mock severity. Not that he thought it was funny if someone was making Starclan angry- he'd heard enough to know you didn't want to go irritating them- but he had a bad habit of saying everything as if he were only half serious. It was a bad day indeed when he became truly serious. But that was not today, no. Today was for playing at being serious, in finding amusement in whatever he chose to find amusement in.

But he wondered, how had Jadekit known this? He glanced at the sky, couldn't figure it out, and looked back at the kit, one eyebrow arched quizzically.

"What in the world is a Gathering?Is it when they get together for some ritual?" Rainheart asked with curiosity. She'd never heard of such a thing. Maybe it was where cats did some weirdo ritual. Or maybe to sacrifice something? No, these cats wouldn't be that strange. It was probably just some kind of getting together. But with who?

[Brighteye]

Is it like an Assembly? Or a Ball? She stopped, realizing that these cats might not about those. What I mean is, does it discuss issues and general welfare? Or is it social event?
