((I know i'm not supposed to be in two places at once, but I must announce the Clan Gathering; Assuming that Maplepaw and Blackheart followed))
Amberstar made her way towards the rock, gold eyes keen to her destination. Her pace was brisk, but even the kits could not hide the excitement in her eyes as she proudly stood up to gaze at the cats around her. Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey hear me out! She yowled, getting their attention. All those cats apprenticed or above be able to come to the gathering.
Her tail swept over the stone, for it was becoming natural for her to do so now. The rock was smooth and warm from the patch of leaves missing, and allowing the sun to fall through over the rock and shower her back. She seemed majestic at the moment, almost powerful for what only appeared to be so. She cast her sharp golden gaze over the small crowd.
Treeclan was dwindling in numbers, yes.. But, so far they were making a slow but sure recovery.

((We could carry out the scene in "On Patrol", and pretend that it led up to this. ;D I like that thread. It was fun.))
Maplepaw drew his attention steadily towards Amberstar. Adrenaline was still pumping in his veins from the battle with the foxes. He looked around for the only other members of Treeclan that he knew: Blackheart and Eatbugs. In the back of his mind, he wondered where Goldenblaze had gone after he and Amberstar had run off to fight intruders.

Onyxpelt had mostly kept to herself upon finding the main camp for Treeclan, finding a quiet shady spot on the edge of the clearing from which she could watch the comings and goings of the other cats.
She was about half asleep when Amberstar leapt up to the rock and drew everyone's attention. Well, I'm surely not an apprentice or higher. I'm not much of anything at this point, she thought as she trotted to sit with the rest of the cats.
((Hope that's alright. I was having so many ISSUES with thinking of a way to actually get myself here!))

His pawstep echoed over the quiet and dim camp. It seemed unusually still. His timing was perfect; they were still at the gathering. The large and battle scarred tom sat upon his flanks, golden eyes skimming deeply over the lifelesss camp.
He was already missing her.. Heartless. How he'd fallen for her so hard, he'd never been able to tell. But he'd never been happier, was all he'd managed out. He curled his tail over his feet, patiently waiting. He blinked.

She entered the camp gracefully just as the sun began to shimmer above the canopy of emerald leaves. She blinked, stiffling a yawn as she led her clan back home. She froze, eyes locked on Goldenblaze there in the center of the camp. He seemed to be hiding somthing, but it didn't matter. Goldenblaze, where have you been? She commanded, striding forward. She looked behind her. When he didn't answer, she strode up to the rock, shooting wary looks at the golden warrior.
Upon the findings of Rogue cats wandering past boundaries, and the mysterious dissappearance of clan cats, we will patrol borders more frequently, and work harder to protect the clan. She yowled, allowing them to file in first. She jumped off. I need to speak with you. Was all she said as she walked by him.

Shinzui gently set Kaze down, looking around with wide orange hues at the assembled felines.
She knew just how different she was from then – although the scent of Man was fading from hers, and she was adopting a wild scent, she was but a mere kittypet. She could hunt, to an extent, and fight if it was in the defense of something she held dear, but there was no way she was in the same league as these other cats.
Crouching down slightly, she gave Kaze’s white pelt a comforting lick, more for her nerves than for his. He was a pretty stable little kit, not even complaining at the rapid change in surroundings or hiding in fear from the new cats.

Blackheart stared at the tom, the missing one known as ‘Goldenblaze’. His ebon pelt fluffed a bit, as he scented something…familiar…waft from the other’s scent. However, that tinge faded, and eh blinked a few times, yellow eyes a bit puzzled.
It had to be his imagination – his old mind playing tricks on the black tom. Blackheart shook his head, when he suddenly felt something land on his tail.
Looking back warning, he saw that there was a small white kit now playing with his tail, not even responding to the mews and orders of his mother to return. Yellow eyes narrowed, and Blackheart angrily swiped at the kit, claws sheathed.
“Get runt.”
Kaze was sent rolling, but the month old kit just hopped back to his paws and pursued Blackheart’s tail again. The old tom stood up, keeping his tail high so the kit couldn’t attack it again.
“I said get!”
He took a semi-threatening paw step towards the kit, causing him to back away a little. Still, no fear.
His mother hovered in the background, a timid little thing with a bobtail and smelling of kittypet. Blackheart flattened his ears – he hadn’t seen her before.

Goldenblaze seemed hardly surprised at Amberstar's sudden demand to know where he'd been. He was gone for a while, and his original plan was to be back before they ever went to the gathering. But things just come up sometimes.. Something called love.
He arched his back in a pleasant manner, watching Amberstar make the announcement. His eyes only barely widened. Ah, so the clans were on to them! He eyed her carefully, catching every word she spoke. And Sabrestar kept her promise. She leapt down and walked toward him, and he followed her towards the entrance of her den. I've been.. Away.. He stated simply, blinking softly.
I'd scented another pair of rogue cats, crossing the boundaries not far away. I fought with them.. He indicated the new claw marks and gashes, made from the battle with Bane. But they would not leave, even after I beat them down. I had to chase them far and wide, to let them know never to come back.
This was, afterall, a lie. But he was always a talent at lying.. And it was only now that he was glad of it. He noticed the large black tom give him a funny look, as if remembering something about him. But his attention was turned as a small white kit had pounced upon his tail, and he whirled around to bat him away.. Man he had a temper.

Amberstar looked him in the eye. He wasn't lying... She sighed, giving him a wary look. Alright. She stood. I'm going on a patrol. She looked up, tail held high. She noticed Blackheart's fierce going at at the new young white kit.
Blackheart, patience please. Shinzui, keep an eye on Kaze so he does not bother Blackheart here please. She gently picked the young white kit up and set him down in front of his mother, walking out of the clan.

She urgently burst through the entrance to the clan, eyes wide with fear. In her mouth, she carried young Mudkit. She'd found the young kit at the shores of the river, barely alive. Amberstar took it upon herself to bring it back to the Medicine cat.
Eatbugs! She called out sharply, striding towards the old Medicine cat's den. I have a patient here for you. He needs your utmost attention; this is urgent. She said loudly, tail held high as she set the young kit down between her paws./color]

"And I think to myself, what a wonderful world!"
The usual upbeat tone of the old TreeClan medicine cat, eyes wide and ears pricked as he had been awoken by the shrill call for him. Once out of his cosy little den, the mackeral tabby stretched his forepaws out, shook his head then made brief time of the distance between him and Amberstar, his new leader. A bedraggled kit was within her paws - dead? Nah, there was a brief rising and falling of it's small, horrifying chest.
"My my my, where did little kitten be founded?"
He asked, staring at it for a moment before realising he better do something for the poor, yet disgusting thing. As long as it didn't squeak, then the old brown tabby should be okay. His twisted whiskers twitched, as he bent down and went to grab the kitten by the scruff, padding briskly back to his den He set it down gently in the bed of moss, pushing the sides closer around it for more warmth. He ran as fast as the old arthitic tom could get to his supplies, and quickly picked out the herbs he'd be needing; Angellica and Cowslip for treating colds; Lavender to cure unconsciousness; and a few others, just in case the kit had injuries or had difficulty breathing. The tom made his way back to where he'd lay the kit down, and set to work.
First, the herbs were mixed into a paste using the dew that was settled on the floor. Unsure if the kit was conscious or not, the tom gently pushed the kit's head up, hoping that it's jaw would open slightly and he'd be able to slowly feed the kitten the paste. Slowly... and when he was certain enough of the paste had been consumed, the old tom curled around the small ball as extra warmth.
"Hush hush mush, Eatbugs be here to help little kitty. If you hearses me, can you talks? If so, tell old Eatbugs if you hurt anywhere."
He said almost in a comforting voice - as even though he was usually fearful of the litte balls of fluff, it was his duty as medicine cat to make sure every cat, especially the young and vulnerable, were cared for. Whilst he was at work, his fears and dislikes were forgotten. See, cause Eatbugs can be sensible sometimes.[/size]

Amberstar sighed with relief, glad at least that the medicine cat was fufilling his duty to the clan, even when he had an interesting hate towards young kits. She recalled when the old Mackeral tabby had made a shrill sound and shouted crossly at young Maplepaw.
She stepped aside for Eatbugs to set to work on the kit, watching him. She was always fond of the Medicine cat, and loved to watch them. She never had the skill for the job, but it never ceased her love for it.
She flicked her tail, eyes wide with worry for the young kit. She prayed to Starclan that he would survive.

A meow that was well known to the clan rose up as Onestone waddled briskly out of her den. "Where is the little runt that should replace my bedding? It hasn’t been done yet!" She rasped above the clan chatter. Although her bedding had probably been changed already, Onestone didnt care, she had probably forgotten by now or maybe never knew it happened, all she know was that she wanted more bedding. Now. And she wouldnt shut up until she got it.
Ooc| Oi, thats short.. sorry!

Amberstar let out a long and shuddering sigh. She knew that cat from anywhere, if she ever new old Onestone strode from her den. She raised her head from the old Medicine cat tending to Mudkit's wound and turned to look at the retired old cat.
She bowed her head respectfully as she approached, tail held high. Yes, Onestep. What is it you need? Bedding? She turned to look over her shoulder. Didn't I send one to change your bedding earlier this morning? She asked meekly, eyes brimming. But she knew best than to argue with the old she-cat; she'd never win.
She called out to the nearest apprentice or kit, eyes skimming the camp.
