Onestone snapped at Amberstar, but in a gentler way. Even if it didnt seem like it, Onestone know who her leader was. "Do you think I would forget if a runt was in my den? I think I wouldn't. Well, I want bedding!"

She closed her eyes, curses flooding through her head in a flurry. The amber leader stood. Yes, I know Onestone. I'm finding an apprentice to fufill the requested task. Truthfully, she felt bad for the kits to have to put up with the old she-cat. She hadn't any idea how they survived the nasty grey cat.
Amberstar padded away, hoping to Starclan one little apprentice would come to the rescue for her... Even a young kit would do!!

Still shivering the small Mudkit slowly opened his eyes. Everything was blurry but it starting becoming clear. Feeling a warm body next to him, he turned to look at Eatbugs. Squinting, realizing he got help. His shivering began to stop and soon tasted a strange flavor in his mouth and sat up. He could hear Amberstar and Onestone talking, he couldn't quite make out their words.

Amberstar almost forgot all about Onestone's orders, and padded quietly towards Mudkit when she realized he was up. She stood in front of him, bending down to his level. Little one, can you hear me? If so, say your name.. She said softly, flicking her tail in a smooth motion.((Sorry it's not very long.. ))

He watched as the beautiful leader walked toward him then sat in front of him. He smiled and quietly mewed, I can hear you. M...Mudkit. I'm Mudkit. He sat tall as if he had accomplished something, but hadn't.
He looked around him, breathing in many scents made him feel relaxed. Then closing his eyes He eyed Amberstar for a second, Did you save me?

She smiled to the young kit, tail brushing softly over the ground. Yes, I did. I'm Amberstar, leader here of Treeclan. That is where you are right now. She motioned around the camp, glad that the kit was able to sit up, hear and speak. It is nice to meet you, young Mudkit.

He looked around the camp smiling and then looked back at Amberstar. He stopped smiling and rubbed against her purring, Thank you! I don't know where I'd be if it weren't for you! He glanced up at her smiling. Is this your Clan?
He stood up to look around the camp, his body still wet. He began to take small steps then stopped.

She didn't want to answer him, even if it wasn't a question. She licked him between the ears and nodded. Yes this is. She said softly, tail flicking to and fro beside her. She watched the kit tumble forward. Exploring, she assumed. She smiled and stood, ears leaning back passively.

Onyxpelt glanced at the snotty cat Amberstar had called Onestone. That cat kind of scared her. On the other paw, it wasn't like she was doing anything, and apprentice or not, Onyxpelt didn't really see any reason not to be of help somewhere. It had to be better than sitting around feeling awkward. She stood and padded over to Amberstar and Onestone, being careful not to knock into Mudkit and knock him off balance.
The little black cat flicked her ears forward and back nervously for just a second, and then spoke up.
"'Scuse me, but... I'll do it. If someone would tell me where the bedding is," she volunteered quietly, but loud enough to be heard.

Onestone purred happily, showing a rarer side of her... a kind one. "Thanks new-comer. Amberstar tell this cat where to get my bedding." The words didnt fit the mood. as if they didnt know how to turn away from the meaner side of her.
Ooc| Sorry that so short!

Amberstar turned and peered at little Onxypelt, and she smiled. Why thank you, little one! Come this way; i'll show you where to get bedding for Onestone, Onyxpelt. As soon as they were out of earshot, she gave a deep sigh. Sometimees, that cat.. She trailed off. It was rather comical of a leader to talk bad about a cat, especially one that was in the clan longer than she. However, she still cared for Onestone's welfare as much as any clan cat's. But she wondered why she had to be so grouchy to every cat, even kits?

Rainfall lay on her back, warming her belly in the hot sun and watched Amberstar walk off with Onyxpelt, after contemplating with her mother. "Why does she have to be so rude..." She mumbled, licking her belly. One of the young kits started to kick a little, as if replying to her mothers thoughts. Rainfall didn’t know whether that was good or not, but it seemed to mean they where feisty and healthy. Oh, wont you be the best kits this clan has seen? She purred, getting up to go talk to the medicine cat about her kitting.
Ooc| I have a feeling my RP skills are fading, sorry thats such a bad post!

Goldenblaze was not far from her. His expression was troubled, as if he was missing something dear to him. But the expression he wore on the outer was suspicious. His gaze was held over the entire clan, watching everything and everyone with fierce critiquing. The tip of his tail twitched softly in irritation. The young cat was hiding something; even his battlescarred face could tell a kit that. It certainly wasn't like him; he was normally very laid back towards the clan. Something was bothering him..

Mudkit stared at all the Clan cats. He watched as Amberstar and Onyxpelt walked away to get bedding and smiled, tail swaying back and fourth. He continued taking small steps around then looked down at the ground to see a small rock. He threw it up in the air and began playing with it as if it were a bug.

Onyxpelt followed after Amberstar, laughing softly when the other cat voiced her opinion on Onestone.
"There was a cat like that in the house where I was born... she didn't alwasy mean it though, it was just how she was. If you were nice to her for long enough, she'd eventually soften up to you," Onyxpelt said. She was readily admitting her birth as a kittypet, mostly because she thought she wouldn't encounter any hostility from the Clan leader. Plus... she'd been a half wild cat even when supposedly a kittypet, as most of the time her and all the otehr cats were left on their own to catch food and survive outside. It was only the coldest parts of winter than any of them would go inside.
"Plus... I don't know, it always seemed sometimes to me that she just needed someone to be nice to her, maybe one day that'd convince her to lighten up. And it isn't like I was busy," Onyxpelt added to her earlier statement with a smile.

Maplepaw bounded back into the camp, a small finch in his mouth. He had been distracted by the bird on the way back from the gathering, and so had stopped to hunt. Upon his return he noticed that the clan seemed to have grown without him realizing. An elder, two kits, a queen, and another female were all sitting beside the four clan cats that he already knew. Four? He checked himself. It was Goldenblaze! Setting down the finch, the apprentice trotted up to the golden warrior.
"Hi, Goldenblaze! I missed you! I hope you're okay," Maplepaw then sat beside his mentor, Blackheart, and began to survey the rest of the clan that he had yet to meet.

Amberstar laughed. She didn't mind at all that the young cat was telling stories of his childhood; it always made one feel better when they got it off their chest.
Old Onestep has been around here even longer than I was! She's olden and clanborn, but I remember her always to have been like that. I never knew why.. She used to pick on me too when I was a kit! The amber she-cat gave a hearty laugh. But you gotta put up with her sometimes

Goldenblaze looked up with a surly face but brightened as he noticed a familiar face. So far, since he'd returned to this clan he'd been shown nothing but hostility.. Or a strained trust from the clan leader. He was otherwise ignored.
He stood to greet the young apprentice, to find she'd had a mentor. He gave an emotionless look at Blackheart and looked back down at young Maplepaw. She'd make a fine apprentice.
The scars were infected and irritated from many recent battles, but he shrugged. Yes, I was away on Treeclan business.. Chasing off a few rogues that would not leave. But i'm glad someone around here missed me.

Onestone, who had been listening in on Goldenblaze, and Maplepaw "Happy you should be! Wandering off like that, we started to get out hopes up!" She rasped before retreating to her den and yowling again at the thought of not having bedding, and what was taking the cats so long to get it.
Railfall walked... waddled past her mother with a groan, before getting to the small group that had started gathering. "Well, I'm happy to see you. And have you seen Eatbug? I would like to talk to him about my kitting, and you should see him to. Your cuts look bad." She said before wadding off, and shouting over her shoulder "It would be easier for me to get around if someone rolled me!"

Blackheart had been crouched low, resting for the next patrol he’d be on, but those yellow hues continued to watch the one known a ‘Goldenblaze’. There was something about the young tom, some subtle scent….something so familiar that darted right at the foreground of his memory yet just out of reach.
When Maplepaw joined him, his intense yellow gaze broke from the tom, and he turned his head slightly to the side to give his apprentice a rough, yet fond, lick. Already, the young male was working into the tattered strings of the old tom’s heart, and he was becoming quite proud of him.
His flicked one ear in the direction of the old she-cat. She was new to him, but sounded like a cat he could get along quite well with.
However, when the golden tom came over to join them, the old black warrior rose to his paws, on edge on alert. His actions were careful not to be hostile in any way, but mildly curious. He wanted to know what it was that was nagging him.
“Greetings.”
[Crappy post, I apologize, but my mind's fried right now...]
