Amberstar took the same route, about the same pawsteps, just as she did any other gathering. She flicked her tail dismissively over her head as she urged her clan to come forth with her. She hadn't been to a Gathering in ages, it seemed, many moons, if not.
But Starclan had sent her a dream; something big was to happen, though she didn't know what; all's she knew was she had to bring her clan to the gathering. She sighed anxiously. Perhaps she would see her kits there, after the dreaded news that they had disappeared and come to this valley. Who knew where they could be?
Ah, but she had let her mind drift about as she suddenly found herself upon a small hill just looking up to the massive one following it. She flicked her tail and raced down the slope and up once more, following the same customs as she and her ancestors had done countless generations ago.

Snowstripe led her clan proudly down the maze and onto the flat plains of rogue meadows, keeping her distance around the yellow field and straying closer to Mistclan borders, though not over it. She couldn't afford a fight if she could help it, she figured to herself. She emerged over the hill and trotted slowly up the grassy slope towards a group of other cats, and a lone amber figure upon the rock.
Amberstar and Treeclan had arrived already.
She leapt up to the rock, only giving a tip of her head in greeting; she offered no explanation for Featherstar's absense, though Amberstar was sure to recognize her as the deputy before hand.
She would explain herself at the gathering. She turned to face Stoneclan cats, tipping her head in courtesy to those of other clans that were sure to emerge.

[enter... 3 kitties! -_-] Onyx, true to her name, darted after her leader, leaping between shadows just because she could. As Amberstar took to the leaders' rock, Onyx went to a place by the edge of the clearing where she could see and hear everything. Ah, she'd grown since the last gathering. She'd been but an apprentice last time, and had looked much like a youngster. Of course, she didn't anymore.
So time passes. She smiled to herself. Time always passed- it could always be counted on to pass, and everything with it, for better or worse. The happy tom bounded into the clearing with careless abandon. Who knew when they'd get this chance again? He stopped and looked around. Ah, Treeclan was here already. A sly grin passed over his face. What fun he could have with all these conveniently placed shadows. The situation begged for him to throw his voice- but not until more people got here, and not too much. He didn't ant to get in trouble, after all, and he was not to make a bad example.
But it was so difficult sometimes. Warfox padded quietly and reservedly to the gathering. His eyes flicked around- possible exits from the clearing should anything interesting occur. And he watched his clanmates, and his leader on the rock. He smiled, just slightly. He liked gatherings. Soft on his feet as ever, Warfox sat near the leaders' rock. There was some of the old happiness about him, but he was as hard to read as ever, keeping to himself.

Colt trailed behind, tail dragging grimly as he kept his eyes burning into the amber backside of the she-cat in front of him. What Greed's words were made sense to the dismal tom, and he blinked.
Even if what Greed said made sense, it didn't mean he had to like it.
He narrowed his eyes and cast his eyes around for someone he knew and recognized... Magnum, Greed, Duo, Stormwing... Any one of them would comfort the tom from being so fidgety and anxious.
Particularly Magnum, but she was different. Even if they were together, she would never truly be his to call his own. He let out an inaudible sigh as he took his place upon the corner of the clearing, laying down on his belly and casting a cool gaze around, not really caring if any cat came to speak to him.
Truth be told, he wasn't really social unless they were those he knew. Quite a contradictory state, but either way, Colt appeared popular in that group. As long as he had his friends, he had it made.

Silverwhisker watched Warfox.
To him, he seemed sad, maybe a little scared. Then again, his orange friend did seem at peace...
He padded to sit next to him, when he spoke, he called him 'buddy' as usual. "You feeling better buddy?" he asked cencerly, but he flicked his tail in slight amusment.
Sitting down, he looked around the camp. He hoped that he get to socialize with cats from other Clans. TreeClan was here, but none of their cats seemed... interesting, so far...
He had a strange feeling that the rogue Clans would show. He didn't mind... too much. He just prayed to StarClan that BoneClan wouldn't show, and start the war right then and there...

Out of the tall, dry grasses, appeared the large figure of a sturdy, dark-pelted Maine Coon tom. It was Bloodstar. Before leaving the familiarity of the grass though, he looked over his shoulder, back into his territory, and flicked his tail, sending a signal for his warriors to follow in his wake. He ascended the hill and joined the other leaders atop a large rock, sitting a tail-length away. This was his first time being to a Gathering in this new land, and he knew only his warriors... Though from what he could observe, it was TreeClan and StoneClan that he was in the company of.
As Smokepaw climbed the hill, he looked about instinctively; he and Brindlepaw usually saw eachother at Gatherings, even if they didnt really speak to eachother. But to his great disastisfaction, he caught no sight of his kithood friend. He didn't even know that she had recieved her warrior name yet. Heaving a sigh, the smokey-colored tom sat in a spot close to the back, yet in full view of the Leaders. He had learned just recently of his new Leader, and flicked his eyes about curiously, wondering if the other clan cats would notice as well.
Jadepaw had already arrived with StoneClan, but had not chosen a spot to sit. She had been too busy walking about excitedly, watching as the cats of other clans milled around. Despite her excitement, the petite apprentice couldn't help but feel as if something terrible might happen. She looked to the sky nervously, as if expecting dark clouds to be looming over-head, but instead, she saw a beautiful navy sky, tinged with orange of the already-set sun. Silverpelt twinkled innocently. But there she saw him, the Magpie. He had a habit of following her wherever she went, flying high up, yet still in view. Would he bring her bad news?

Blingsong moved, carefully, as she followed the scents of her clan mates. Soemtimes such actions was difficult for the blind queen.
She had been here, once, before. That pretty gaze, so devoid of life but still so brilliant in its color, lifted as she scent the air. Would that kind Treeclan tom, Sunpelt, be here? She had liked him, he had seemed noble and honorable. A good cat, one she would’ve considered a friend.
Sadly, they were from two different clans. Was she allowed friends from another one?
She didn’t know. Blindsong settled near to the rock with the leaders, ears pricked forward so she could listen carefully.

Power.
The one word was the best to describe the deputy of Treeclan, as the older tom padded into the clearing. One sweep on that fierce yellow gaze took in every cat that currently resided here, before it flicked upwards, falling on the three leaders.
In particular, Bloodstar.
He watched the tom in silence, for a long long moment. Memorizing him.
Sabrestar was gone, then. Blackheart did not find himself surprised.
The black tom padded close, right up front and near tot eh leaders. This way he could keep an eye on things; both on the rock and amongst his own clan mates.
Especially that Greed in particular.

He was being watched.
For some reason; Greed was unsurprised. That cocky grin only widened larger as his eyes met those of Blackheart the moment the younger tom stepped into the clearing.
Oh yes. This was amusing.
The cunning golden tom flicked his tail as if rudely dismissing the Treeclan deputy and padded over, crossing the area, until he was next to Colt .45.
Bright gold hues glanced up to view Bloodstar, Amberstar, and the other new leaderess. Hn. The tomleader was a possible mark, should the motley group need a new ally later. Bloodstar looked like a cat would understood and desired power.
But that would be later. Now was now.
“Anyone else joining us Colt?”

Amberstar was sure to show mild surprise at the appearance of two new leaders. Wow, this was quite a surprise; She had been away from gatherings for far too long, she'd come to discover. She cast her eyes with a tilt of her head to the appearance of a small black and white she-cat as she landed with grace upon the large stone. She easily recognized the deputy of Stoneclan, or at least what she was before. Snow.. Snow.. Snowstripe, that's what her name was.
Before she could greet the she-cat she was suddenly drawn to a large black tom that entered the clearing. Unnameless to her mind, she sought to remember this tom, but was left denied of such knowledge. But she didn't recognize him as the deputy.
.. Did Duskclan even have a deputy? Did it ever?
She shrugged the thought off her mind and turned to peer at the rest of the cats. Now only Lillystar was yet to join her. Cats sought friends from other clans, and it pleased her to see how each clan was flourishing in it's own way.
But her eyes caught sight just in time to see the exchange between her beloved deputy and that new tom.. Greed. Hah.
Treeclan cat or not, she would protect Blackheart if anything happened between the two toms, and was suddenly catching a growl as the tom made a rude exit to sit beside the sulky looking tom down in the corner.
She narrowed her eyes. Foolish tom. One day his weakness would be the death of him and his crew.

Colt looked up as a familiar scent brushed over his snout and he looked up, eyes glittering and a crooked smile over his appearance as he recognized Greed among the throng of cats. He almost laughed aloud.
What a great friendship he was creating with the Deputy, eh? The elder tom was hopeless; he'd probably chew off his legs after losing his teeth to show how loyal he was to Amberstar. Or was he paying careful attention to the Duskclan leader, or was that his imagination? Hmph. How helpless that amber she would be without that tom always by her side. He wouldn't be shocked if they appeared with kittens together!!
But seriously.
Colt gave a malicious grin to his true leader, tail flicking with respect to the tom. "Stormwing, Duo, and Magnum I suspect are to come with us on this night, though i've not seen Stormwing in some time?" He asked quietly, hoping the tom would know something of her disappearance.

She sat beside Greed and leaned on his shoulder, wrapping her long-haired tail around him.
"Stormwing and Duo are left, then, I s'pose?"
Magnum glanced around, smiling, then rested her head once more on Greed's shoulder.
"Oh, I just love Gatherings."

OOC: Lotsa kitties to account for...^^; Lillystar trotted briskly into the clearing, her cats following after her. She felt supremely foolish for arriving late, but with all that was going on in camp she had been too frazzled to prepare for the Gathering. All of the cats she had chosen to come were with her, save for Shadowstreak. The dejected tabby had dissapeared not long after discovering Oddeye dead in front of the warrior's den. Lillystar feared that the she-cat was not in her right mind and might get herself into trouble, but she didn't have time to worry over it. One of the disadvantages to being a leader was that you rarely got to devote individual time to your cats. So as much as it bothered her, Lillystar could not halt the gathering to look for one wayward feline.
Once she reached the High Rock, she leapt up swiftly and nodded her head to her fellow leaders. Through panting breaths she took account of the changes of leadership in StoneClan and DuskClan. She was confused yet happy to see Snow...star, having herad about her from Shadowstreak and Icepaw. Thought DuskClan's new tom unnerved her. Finally finding her voice she addressed them, "My apologies...I did not mean to be quite so late in coming." "Our Clan has received many new members these past few moons and we have a new litter of kits as well...plus many other goings on that I will discuss once we commence..." Finished for the moment, she turned and faced the gathered cats. Dragonpelt followed his mate and leader into the familiar spot that they came to for Gatherings. The only real difference between this Gathering and ones he had previously attended, was the closeness he had to his leader. Since she was his mate and he her temporary deputy, the Gathering felt all the more important to him. He took a seat near to the large rock and waited for the speeches to get underway. OOC:...hmm okay well...Shadowstreak is MIA, Denali was not invited to come and I guess I should wait for Kest to post here before doing Chasm's...and unless Anarchy wants to crash the party, I assume I am done.

Ooc: I can post right?
Ic: Giddypaw didn't want to be here. He didn't want to be anywhere actually...
You petty furball! You did want to be here! You know it was better than being stuck in MistClan territory! This is the adventure you wanted, now get happy!
The tan tom growled at his annoying concious. It had made him a better cat, but that didn't mean he wanted it.
I'm not a little kit anymore! Shuttup and leave me alone!
I thought you said you weren't talking to me and I wasn't real! Stop arguing with yourself! It hurts!
Your not real, and I'm not talking to you, I'm talking myself!
Who's wierd now?
Giddypaw trudged along, then remembered that Ripplepaw got to come. He smiled. He hadn't talked to her much since he joined MistClan. Things had gotten very busy. He remembered when they first met here, then frowned. Many bad things had happen with him since then. Well, there had been so many to cats, he hoped that most had forgotten if they even knew...
He looked around to find his gray-white feline friend. Giddypaw hoped she still liked him...

Contrast danced into camp, her pretty face alert, keen for non-MistClan company. She would make many friends today. Her brother had opted to stay behind; he said something about an Andromeda character who couldn't go, or something. Contrast wasn't sure. Anyway. She padded eagerly into the crowd, flicking her tail in excitement. I burn burn like a wicker cabinet chalk white and oh so FRAIL I see our time has gotten stale Juukai followed Lillystar into the clearing, her fiery orange eyes alight with delight. She looked furiously around, taking in every sight that could be seen on the Great Hill.
She was happy.
Then, when Juukai had memorized the looks and Clans of every cat present, she lay down at the edge of the crowd, glancing up at the leaders every now and then in a polite, curious way.
Beside her sat her usual box of matches; it was a fresh box, and Juukai peeled one from the rest with reverent care. She struck the match swiftly against a tree and dropped it into the dust, her eyes growing wide and glassy. The light orange tint of firelight glowed against her dense gray fur. After a few moments, she snuffed the match out with a rough paw. Restruck, watched the match burn, and snuffed it again.
Light match. Watch fire. Snuff match. Repeat. Light match. Watch fire. Snuff match. Repeat. Look up at the leaders. No action yet. Light match. Watch fire. Snuff match. Repeat. Light match. Watch fire. Snuff match. Repeat. Light match. Watch fire. Snuff match. Repeat. Look up at the leaders. Two new leaders, eh? Light match. Watch fire. Snuff match. Repeat. That Bloodstar is nervous-making, no? Light match. Watch fire. Snuff match. Repeat. Light match. Watch fire. Snuff match. Repeat. Light match. Watch fire. Snuff match. Repeat. Light match. Watch fire. Snuff match. Repeat. What a strange face Lilly is making. Light match. Watch fire. Snuff match. Repeat.

Ladies and Gentlemen, RisingClan has arrived.
As if by magic, or as if the star-scattered sky had inexplicably dropped her there, a slim, pretty she-cat appeared. She was not particularly old, and did not look threatening...but appearances decieved, and there was something about this cat that seemed different. She had an aura of authority around her, and her paws hid lethal claws. She may have been the fastest cat in the Clans. She had gray and white fur. Her eyes were mismatched; blue and yellow. Sharp and fierce.
Kestrel, leader of the Fifth Clan.
The leader padded into the moonlight without fear, her head held regally high. She carried herself like any other leader, with pride and power in her step.
"RisingClan has arrived," she meowed smoothly.

Rustshade kept his head down, rather sadly, for Umberpaw was not able to come. He let out a soft sigh as he padded after his leader, though not sad, for he knew he'd see the dark medicine cat later after the gathering. He peered up over the mass of cats, suddenly remembering his friend, Ripplepaw was supposed to be here and pointedly walked past Giddypaw in search of the she-cat, and one of his best friends since kithood.
Indeed, he and Ripplepaw and Umberpaw had been through much together, even before Giddy had broken rules to come to Mistclan and stolen the young apprentice's spot as Lilly's apprentice.
He sat down, waiting to spot her, showing a bright expression with the hopes he could meet somebody during the gathering.
Though not in that sense, his heart belonged to one she-cat and one she-cat only.

Amberstar gave a curt nod as the Mistclan leader arrived. "No worries, Lillystar. The moon is yet to rise to it's full height. It.." But she trailed off and looked over Lillystar's shoulder to see a cat.
No..
A cat with Authority..?
Ah, Amberstar recognized this she-cat; the cause of the restlessness over all the clans; The Leader Of Risingclan had arrived.
She knew of the clans before she even announced it. She gave a curt nod as she and a band of several cats flourished and mixed with the others. "Good eve' Kestrel. It is quite a surprise to see you at a gathering," She said, though not in an unfriendly tone. In fact, if you payed attention you could spot the distinct trust that littered her soft words and golden gaze. "I hope your travel here went well and finding the place untroubling?" She said softly, acting curt so as not to arouse question from Duskclan. She never said she would seek their alliance; perhaps Boneclan had gotten to them..?

The petite and dark leader cast her ears around just a heartbeat before her head swiveled around to watch the leader stride into the camp. She had her eyes on the bobtailed young tom in the gathering, her mate, though she would not admit it to any of the other clans. Perhaps it showed weakness or favoritism that she had a mate, though a female, against Starclan's rules and will. No, she wished Stoneclan only know of her bond with him, though it was sure to get out soon. As was the case, she'd never abandon him in the case of authority; she had never asked for the she-cat to leave.
Kestrel... Why did that name sound familiar??
Hrm..
Ah. It strick a memory deep within the dark she-cat, who was matched by her own appearance of swiftness. She was in the nursery when the she-cat came about. Ah yes, another little secret..
.. Her kits.
"Greetings," Said Snowstar, eyes giving away her obvious surprise of the she-cat's arrival. Featherstar had made the pact with her, though she would not say anything out loud, just as it appeared Amberstar did. She would wait for Kestrel to announce it before she declared Stoneclan as her ally.
Unless the dark tom already knew about it...?

OOC: The order of the cats I post with will change in relation to what's currently going on in the Gathering. For instance, I post Chasm here first because Kestrel and RisingClan just arrived. Swirling hues and careful steps...my path is dangerous, but I would choose no other...
A mass of muscle and thick black fur, Chasm followed his leader into the Gathering. He was wary of the other cats and kept close to Kestrel. He would not let the one he cared for so much come to any harm. Wondering how the other leaders would react, he stuck just a little behind her, keeping watch in his typical deputy manner. Lillystar also recognized the leader of RisingClan, whom she'd allied herself with just days ago. What purpose did Kestrel have to come to a Gathering of the main clans? What did she hope to accomplish? And what would Bloodstar's reaction be? The dark colored leader of DuskClan had had her wondering ever since she arrived. Dragonpelt watched this newcomer with interest. She didn't seem to pose a threat and none of the leaders were giving any sign that she was unwelcome. Nevertheless, he kept his emerald gaze fixed on the grounds before him, ready to spring at a moment's notice.

Onyxdart flipped her ears forward as someone she recognized showed up. Then her ears swiveled back. Her annoyance was not otherwise visible, but would she ever forgive Giddyheart for all that nonsense he'd caused? Probably not. Oyx doesn't like nonsense.
But she was distracted at the entrance of the Risingclan cats. Ah, this was interesting. But not quite interesting to utterly hold her attention for now. She glanced around, and saw someone else she recognized. Blindsong! But would the other cat remember her? Hesitantly, she padded over.
"Er, 'scuse me? I remember you from last time, and, well, I don't actually see any others I'd really recognize, and so I came to say hi," she said awkwardly, reminded very much of her first gathering with all of this awkwardness. The Risingclan cat kept nearby her leader and clan too, uncomfortable with everything that could go wrong with this little venture. She thought the Duskclan leader was the lone tom up there. From everything she'd heard of the clan, he seemed most likely. That made her nervous. But Kestrel seemed so self assured, Deepcreek reasoned it would not do to appear to worried. She squared her shoulders and went to sit, not too close to her clan, but not too far. Spellbound, meanwhile, was pleased with the number of cats. He also didn't want to test their reaction time with ridiculous voice throwing. Instead, he padded over quietly near Jadepaw. She seemed distracted. He grinned.
"Psst, hey, Jadepaw!" he said. It was from where he sat, but it sounded like maybe it was from behind her, or to the side. He giggled. Ah, good times. Warfox glanced up as Silverwhisker came over and spoke to him. He smiled ever so slightly in a vague kind of way, that was probably meant to be convincing of his happiness and well being.
"I am indeed, thank you. How goes it with you?" he said, reasoning that he really did need to convince the other tom that he was just fine. Really. All was pretty good with the world.
He'd found Battledream. Or she'd found him. Oh, whatever. Anyway, she wasn't gone, and that was important.
A bit more of a smile lit his face briefly. Now that might just be a bit more convincing, and he hadn't even tried. Oh My Gosh. I am already having nightmares of all the cats I'm going to have in the battle.
