Ebon paws drew the older tom along familiar trails, before he led the cats who had gone to the Gathering back into the Treeclan camp. Although exhaustion dogged irritatingly at his senses, he gritted his temper and shook it off, figuratively of course.
Why Amberstar?
Yellow hues sought out the vanished leader, confusion momentarily filling the old tom’s senses. Why hadn’t she spoken? Where had she vanished to?
No, now was not the time to fret.
The deputy yowled, loudly, to attract all cats within the main camp. Heading over to the spot where Amberstar delivered her announcements, he sat beneath it, his noble bulk a dark shadow with yellow hues.
“We must speak of events that have happened upon this night.”

Onyx paused for a moment before entering the clearing to yawn. Then she shook herself into a slightly more awake state and followed everyone else into the main camp. Vaguely, she wondered where Amberstar was. How come she'd just disappeared? To be sure, the young black cat was concerned. But she didn't think she could do anything about it.
She went and sat nearby Blackheart, since he'd called them all together to talk about the gathering.

Sunpelt followed Blackheart, his golden pelt a sharp contrast to his black. His tail tip flicked from side to side, but other then that, he appeared to be untroubled with Amberstar's disappearance. However, her vanishment did bother the tom, as it certainly should, but as of yet he didn't see any reason to panic, though he was remotely concerned. After all, he was pretty sure she went wherever she went to, alone, which means she could be in danger, yet again, Amberstar was well trained Tree Clan warrior, any Tree Clan cat should do fine as long as they were in their preferred habitat...
Where is Amberstar... He thought, as he sat next to Onyxpelt, to whom he meowed a greeting to, "Hello, Onyxpelt." Looking around the semi-empty clearing, he noted, "It's been quiet since Giddykit left..."

"Hullo, Sunpelt," Onyx replied to the warrior with a nod of her head, "Yeah, guess it has. Not that I'm complaining and all," she agreed. She personally liked the quiet... well, for now anyway. Certainly it would eventually get boring, if things continued being utterly quiet. But surely her training would start soon, right? If nothing happened between now and when Amberstar got back, she hoped. Nothin' to do but sit and be patient and wait.
So the apprentice composed herself, sitting still with her front paws together daintily, and the tip of her tail tapping the ground spastically.

Maplepaw tread into the camp, following behind Onyxpelt. The gathering had been a long and exhausting one, and he was glad it was finally over. But the absence of Amberstar was, indeed, an issue to be dealt with, and Blackheart was about to open discussion.
He settled and nodded slowly in his mentor's direction.

“What are your thoughts on what took place back there?”
He started, but was this the old warrior was going to say? Oh do, definitely not, but he desired to know his clan mates’ thoughts before he himself added to it.
So Darkazure. I wonder if you have some paw in this. Blackheart thought, yellow hues flicking between Onyxpelt, Maplepaw, and Sunpelt. But no, how could his old comrade have anything to do with this mess? He had abhorred clan life itself.
Already, plans filled the skull of the tom cat. As soon as this ‘meeting’ he called was over, he’d take Maplepaw out on patrol while the other two rested. They could take over for the two when they returned.
Was this all? How had Treeclan fallen to such a state? The clan grounds felt empty, silent – wind rustling around the four gathered cats.
Amberstar, have you forsaken us?

Maplepaw was not one of quick wit, as some of the other cats in these lands were, and he stayed silent for a few moments. The apprentice still almost thought of the rogue Goldenblaze as a friend! Slowly, he raised his head to Blackheart and said in an un-kit-like and subdued voice, " I'm not going to lie...I'm worried about Amberstar. She was a good leader..."
He trailed off for a few moments, but regained composture, "I don't know what's going on down in the rogue and Duskclan lands, but I think we should try to stay out of it."

Pride shone in those normally cold yellow hues for his apprentice – Maplepaw has shaped up nicely in the moons they’d know one another. Hues shifted, going first to Sunpelt, then to Onyxpelt.
“Sunpelt, Onyxpelt? Your thoughts?”
He wouldn’t mention his until he learned of theirs, but that was simply to old deputy’s way with matters.

Onyxpelt thought for a moment as her opinion was asked. She wasn't exactly sure of her thoughts, but she was worried a bit for Amberstar.
"I think... I'm worried too. Amberstar doesn't quite seem to sort to just disappear for some trivial matter. I almost wish we knew what was going on in the Rogue Lands- it might give us an idea as to why Amberstar disappeared, if the two're related," she finally answered honestly.

One ear remained cocked in Blackheart's direction, his face and extra ear upon Onyxpelt, to whom had answered him. "True, true, but I still think he would've made a great warrior... He just needed some heavy discipline..." He mused, purring at the thought.
Sunpelt then kept his eyes on Blackheart, whose opinions he had asked of theirs, while his ears rested on Maplepaw and Onyxpelt in turn. Sure, as a senior warrior he could have had the right for first voice, but quite frankly, Sunpelt preferred listening over talking, and since he also preferred hearing the opinions of his clanmates, it fell well to expect him to be the last to speak. And that, he did, "I agree with Onyxpelt. It would be wise if we were to keep an ear on our enemies. As the saying goes, 'Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.' An ear into their doings couldn't hurt, but in fact, help keep us ahead of the game if they plan on doing more then just be an organized nest of rogues."
Now that was a large helping from the usually silent warrior, but it was a piece worth of the air it used, or so he thought, and thus it wasn't a waste of his breath in the doing.

Forsaken? Never.... A silent shape, dark at first, appeared beside the black tom on the rock. It melted into a dark orange, a splash of tawny, reds.. All too familiar to the clan. She looked tired, almost old for her young age. She bowed her head, partly in submission, partly in respect to her clan.
She'd been gone for long, yes, but matters such could send her as a leader packing. She'd made a mistake, here.. A mistake in her life.. One that costed her dearly. She shuddered before she spoke, slowly, but clearly.
Clan, I've let you down... She said as she mewed like a kitling. And I apologize.

“Amberstar.”
If the ebon pelted deputy was surprised to see their leader suddenly appear, returning from what had drawn her away. Yellow hues flashed, sensing something deeply scarred….and then he moved, the black shadow, padding to her side. His head dipped respectfully, before a warm tongue gentle rasped across her head.
“All that is important is that you have returned.”
There was a message within those wise hues, he needed to discuss a few things before he announced them to the clan.
A plan?
Yes. The deputy had one. He gaze swept the camp, from the dark pelted Onyxpelt, the golden Sunpelt, to over across the came, where the young bobtail Queen Shinzui was training her kit Kaze, the mute young one who should have been apprenticed many moons age.
Belatedly, the deputy remembered that, and he added it to the list of thing he needed to discuss with Amberstar.

"Amberstar!" Onyxpelt squealed happily, and then reflected this squealing thing was probably a bit juvenile. Oh well, it had to happen occasionally. There was no denying she was glad to see the leader of their clan, no matter what had called her away.
"I'm just glad you're back," she said in answer to Amberstar's apology, after Blackheart had spoken.((OOC: Blah, short. Onyx is still trying to grow a personality. Also, excuse me, I am dumb, I forgot to log into the other account to post here. Duuuuuuur.))

The golden warrior's equally golden eyes flickered to the dark approaching shape, something within the movement of the creature was familiar, but it wasn't until the sunlight lit up her flame colored pelt that he recognized Amberstar. He bowed his head, a respectful greeting and a simple acceptance of her apology. By the way it was done, it was more a dismissal, as if there was no need for her apologizing. She wasn't a kit, and as a leader, she had the right to do as she sees fit... within reason of course (murder and such out of the question); therefore, the reason behind the accepted, yet dismissal of her apology.
"A pleasure to know your are safe, Amberstar," spoke the golden warrior, his experienced gaze not missing the pained expression in his leader, nor Blackheart's recognition of it also. Of this he said nought, just simply waited patiently, as he was known to do.

darkhate slowly walked into the clan's camp. she felt all the eyes of the cats that were her staring into her with there burning stare.she felt like shouting, haven't you ever seen at cat with scars! but she forced herself to not speak she picked her way though the cats and made her way to the fresh kill pile. she grabbed a mouse, hoping the other cats will let her be in the clan without all the stares. her slowly ate her mouse thinking, this is ok but if a medince cat runs up to me and plasters me with cobwebs that's it! i have had theese scars for a long time and they didn't bother her she dug her claws in the ground remembering her mom's face and then nothing. she set her head on her paws still thinking about her mom,the trader.

ooc: this cat is only here for darkhate so don't worry she is not a staying cat!
a black tabby looked around the camp her greens eyes darted to each cat untill she say darkhate "your not dead or with the other kit!" she screeced "i threw you out hoping i would never see you again but no! you're right in front of me still alive!" she let out a battle cry and jumped on darkhate sending her almost into some other cats a big cat let out a battle cry and almost running into her newclan mates."mom! i knew it!" she siad half amazed and half mad "this is the gentle mom that threw me out!" she jumped on her mom sending them in ferice battle. she scratted her mom ears only to be scrached in the belly, but her scars made her stong there. "no! i threw you hard making sure you would die"said the mom.she jumped back clawing at darkhate's belly with no sucess of hurting it. "you forgot i had hate. and hate kept me alive!" she jumped hard on her mom's back paw making her mom fall over with her belly showing up. she took the chance and scarched it. she yelled is agony as her kin hurt the softest spot, her belly. "stop!"she yelled geting helself up and ran leaving a tail of blood behind her. darkhate was breathing hard and she hurt all over again. scars on her back paws and legs, shoulders, back, face and tail had opened.she was all bloody again and her back legs gave out sending her into a puddle of blood;the blood was red (her mom's) and crimion(her's). she just layed there hoping she was ok.

|ooc| I know it's none of my business, but I stalk threads, and I must make a few comments. Aren't red and crimson the same color? Double-posting is a tad annoying; next time, you could add on to your previous post. Also, 'she felt all the eyes of the cats that were her staring into her with there burning stare' is kind if a powerplay. You can't say if the others are staring or not, and scars are common in Clans of feral cats. A few more powerplays: 'sending her into a fewcats making them satter' 'chared at her making her new clan mates run' You should probably be more careful, and also, the spell checker is quite useful ^^ I hope I am not offending anyone. -runs-
