Chaos? Already? And the clan was just quiet a second ago! She saw a flash of a kit, and a befuddled looking Shinzui.. And then it came at her! She mewed aloud, only hearing above the chaos was Fishstick, Awaaay! Ah. Right. The source. She stepped out of the way of the kit flying at her and he landed in the dust just inches from her new chosen sitting spot upon the rock. Fishstick! She mewed sharply, but her expression was still of a laughing matter. Her fur had fluffed in the confusion, and she now looked like a fluffy amber afro. Young kit, you should know better than to wreak havoc in my clan when I am holding a meeting. She raised a brow, her expression still comical. She still had yet to realize of her rather fluffy appearance! And you especially should know by your age not to stand on the rock during and announcement. Now get down and behave!
Hooboy, this made me laugh so hard! -luffs on fishstick- He's too funny.

Now completely poofed out, the kit known as Fishstick stood, and shook the dust off himself. He turned and looked at all the cats, his ears flicking towards Amberstar when his name was spoken.
And completely ignored the rest.
Bright leafgreen eyes gazed at all the cats.
"I'm Fishstick! I'm a tiger! Rawr! I'm gonna be the bestest best best warrior! Ever! I was born in a meadow that smelled funny! The kitties there named me! I was gonna be Chickenleg! Or Ham! Or Cabbage! But I like Fishstick! ... Whats a Fishstick anyway?"
The young tom seemingly said that without taking a breath... Was that even possible? With a shake of his rump, Fish stick pounced off the rock.
"FISHSTICK AWAYYY!"
He seemed to fly for half a second, before he was denied by gravity, and fell... Onto the very same leaf he tried to stalk. He scrambled off of it, and hopped around the small paper thin object on the ground excitedly.
"Leaf! Leaf leaf leaf leaf leaf.... IT'S ALIVE!"
The fallen part of a tree fluttered as the wind picked up, then it flew off the ground, and over a nearby tree.
"Daww.."
With his fun ruined, the leaf now gone, Fishstick obediently turned to Amberstar and sat his rump on the ground, head hanging.

She growled at the young kit as he stood up and announced he was going to be the best warrior ever, yadda yadda... Fishtstick! GET DOWN! But the kit seemed to not hear her and do so on his own. Fishstick Awaaay! He cried and landed belly first on a leaf. She watched the antics before her as he tried to 'kill' this leaf, but failed to do so as the wind brushed through the main camp. Finally, the camp calm once more, she sighed. Rayheart! Come forth, please.

Surprised his name was called, the tom known as Rayheart slipped from the congregated cats. Humbled to be mentioned from his leader, Ray bowed slightly, copper eyes meeting the ground for a moment. The fawn-hued cat sat back up on his haunches, voice quiet and slow.
"Yes, M'Leader?" He asked clearly for such a hushed tone.

She looked down at Rayheart, tail flicking with a contemplative swing. Are you ready to take on your first apprentice? She asked softly, eyes meeting his with a kind hue.

Muted shock showed in his eyes as he cocked his head. Apprentice? Already? Ray never really though himself to be the mentor-type, but you never knw until you tried. The tom smiled at Amberstar, face reflecting his willingness.
"I would be honored." Rayheart replied in the same miniscule tone.

She nodded with approval. Alright, when Blackheart and Maplepaw return to the camp, I will announce a formal apprentice-ship for Blazekit and Fishstick. She looked at the two cats, Shinzui and Rayheart. I hope both of you may be content with my choice in your apprentices, and I hope Blazekit and Fishstick are content with my choice in mentors. She said, nodding. You all are dismissed. If you are not happy, with my choice, see to it I am informed.

Being dismissed, Rayheart gave another little bow and glanced over to the kits. One of them was going to be his appreantice soon. The tom allowed himself to smile slightly at Fishstick's antics, at Blazekit's eagerness. He wondered which one he was to mentor.

Fishstick's head shot up. Excitment growing once again in his eyes. A mentor? He was going to be an apprentice! That the first step to becoming the bestest best warrior ever! He would train really hard! And be very good! Then, after he was given his warrior name, he'd go on a mission to find his parents! Yes!
His leaf green eyes sparkled as he thought this, his one only dream coming true! But being young, he didn't exactly know that he just couldn't leave to go on a mission of his own, and becoming the best warrior ever would take a lot of work, and might not even work overall.
Silly silly Fishstick.
The soon-to-be apprentice looked at Rayheart, then for the one known as Shinzui, but unsucessfully, couldn't find her.

o.O Why in the world was every young kit running around except for her own trying her attack her small little bobtail?! Shinzui was completely intimidated by her soon-to-be apprentice and the other young kit, hues wide and completely bewildered as she looked around and watched the events that unfolded.
With a small ‘merow’ of uncertainty, the timid she-cat slowly padded towards Amberstar, watchful eyes on Blazekit.

Yes, Shinzui? She said softly, turning 'round to flick her tail softly at the foreign she-cat. She had a certain trust in her to fufill the task given to her, however she was curious to know if she was willing. She cast her golden gaze between the queen's ears and back to her eyes, her own soft and harmless.

"I just wanted to thank you..."
Shinzui flattened her ears, unable to keep holding her leader's gaze so she just looked at the ground instead, orange eyes shy but happy.
"...for giving me this chance to prove myself..."

She smiled to her. You showed yourself worthy when you came here, you and your son, under the word that you would do all you could for your clan. That in itself is something special. The amber leader smiled at her, a wise glint in her eye. You showed potential all along. Mentoring is just one more thing that adds to that.

[From River Edge]
Blackheart padded back into camp, yellow hues taking in everything, but settled almost uncertainly on the two kits. He and Maplepaw had, apparently, returned at a poor time. The kits were on the loose.
There was Amberstar, talking to the kittypet female. The black tom headed towards them, making sure to remain a fair distance away so to show them respect by not interrupting their conversation.

Shinzui nodded, pleased though completely embarrassed by Amberstar’s praise. Inside, deep within her heart, she renews her vow to serve Treeclan with every ounce of strength she had.
“I tried…”
The she-cat then noticed Blackheart’s presence, and froze, giving him a wise-eyed stare. Although the tom never did anything to harm her, or had hardly even spoken to her, he was quite intimidating without even trying to be.

She gave an efficient nod to Shinzui. You must pardon my excuse, but it appears my deputy has need to talk to me.. She said softly, padding towards her den and motioning for Blackheart to follow. Once inside, she seated herself and offered the black deputy a seat in front of her.

Blackheart had followed Amberstar, meeting her gaze with his feral one.
“Featherstar had sent a group of her warriors to find out the information the kit hinted at. Maplepaw and I met then at the river’s edge, and delivered the message.”
Pity it had been such a short mission – with no scraps or hunting involved.

She raised a brow. There had to have been more news.. He and his apprentice were gone for some time! ..And.. That is it? Blackheart, there must be something else of interest. I'm sure, you and your apprentice were gone for too long to just bring me that small amount of information from the clan. Tell me what went on between you and Stoneclan.

“We exchanged pleasantries. After all, there was little need to be rude if they were to deliver the message to their leader, and save mine and Maplepaw’s paws from the journey!”
The last part was said with a warm chuckle, a rare joke. He kept his thoughts and suspicious of the young Loveless to himself – it wasn’t information that Amberstar would need to know.
“Stoneclan has grown in numbers, but Featherstar hasn’t apprenticed nay young ones, not promoted any of her current warriors.”

She narrowed her eyes in deep thought. She nodded her head softly to him, flicking her tail. That's much better. Let me know if anymore suspicions arouse.. This is getting interesting. She said softly.
