((I'll start early, because i'm bored and it gives people a chance to do something. ;D))
Amberstar glanced keenly over her shoulder, waiting for the rest of her clan to catch up. She was in no hurry; The Great Hill was just at the edge of her boundaries, after all, dividing Treeclan and Mistclan borders.
It wasn't like Stoneclan, or even Duskclan she felt bad for; they had to cross the valley to get there. She brushed in silently, jumping pleasantly atop the rock. Well, she was first here. She couldn't be late to her first meeting, afterall! Her first meeting as a clan leader, however. She'd been to gatherings before, under Oakstar's rule, and the leader before her.
She bent over to lick quietly at her flanks, awaiting other Clans and her own to come.

Silverthroat approached the end of her territory, looking up at the Great Hill, which had held so many cats for many, many moons. She looked farther up to the stone that lay above the forest, propped steadily on the top of the mound of dirt, and foliage. Her steady, ice blue eyes looked for Whisperstar on the rock, but only one cat stood there, and according to the sent was the leader of Treeclan. Silverthroat slowly blinked and thought. Where could Whisperstar be? It is not like her to be late... She said to herself and started slowly up the hill, thinking about whether she should be doing this or not. The Clan leader always went first... but she moved on...
When Silverthroat finally reached the 'top' she spoke again, this time to Amberstar Good evening Amberstar. The words flowed from her, as she nodded her head in respect, hoping that she would not be questioned about Whisperstar.

Amberstar bowed her head in greeting. By the scent of the cat opposite her, it was Mistclan. She smiled as she recognized it as the medicine cat, Silver Throat. Her memory was good, and she was told her name so back several months ago.
Good afternoon, Silver Throat! She said brightly, a warm smile on her face. She earnestly looked over her head for Whisperstar, but did not question the leaders non-appearance. She flicked her tail, ears quirking, listening for any other cat's approach.

Featherstar padded up the hill. Greetings Amberstar, Silverthroat. How are you doing? As she waited for their answers she looked behind her to watch her clan coming into the area. She was glad that StoneClan was growing. Featherstar paused, suddenly wondering where Whisperstar was. She hoped the MistClan leader wasn't ill. She waite for Silverthroat to speak.

Snowstripe flanked Featherstar to her left, a comfortable spot for her. She looked up, and was almost taken aback. A new clan leader!! She hadn't heard the news, but recalled hearing a rumor. Amberstar? She narrowed her eyes thoughtfully. Must be Treeclan. She smiled to her and trotted on to talk to other warriors. It looks like we're early! She said lightly to Featherstar, a grin on her face.

Maplepaw entered a few tail-lengths behind his leader, Amberstar, looking about sheepishly. During the last meeting he had done all he could to remain invisible and unkown to the other cats. This time, however, he felt confident that he could at least utter a few words to some of the other clan apprentices.
He stopped near the base of the rock and realized with a hint of amusement that he, Amberstar, and his mentor (who had yet to arrive), must all smell strongly of fox.

Amberstar smiled as Maplepaw walked in, tail flicking in amusement. She realized along the lines what she was thinking, and it was true. She and Maplepaw certainly did smell of fox, but the blood had been washed away. She was almost sure Blackheart would too.
She looked up expectantly. Where were Whisperstar and Sabrestar??

The presence of Duskclan was like a sharpened blade on the atmosphere of the Gathering, dark, silhoutted shapes slinking smoothly from the shadows like snakes within the undergrowth, lead by the small, yet infamous feline, Sabrestar. Eyes glittering chipped ice, the strong, lithe, ink black feline stepped royally about the other Clans, long tail swaying behind sinewy legs. Behind her, Duskclan Warriors and Apprentices followed obediently; a group of haunted, hollowed hearts, always watching, waiting.
Shouldering past the Warriors of the other two Clans, the sleek feline leapt upon the moonlit boulder, stepping to the side cast in long, stretching shadows, silent and foreboding. A half-sneer wavered about flawless obsidian lips. Sabrestar held her muzzle high, looking upon the cats below her with the faintest glimmer of bored interest. Lashing her tail in mute greeting towards the other two leaders, she awaited the entrance of Whisperstar, and from there, the start of the meeting.

Amberstar bowed her head to the dark leader, tail lashing gently over the rock as she sat across from the other two. She gave a worried look over her shoulder. Where was Whisperstar? It wasn't becoming of her to be so late..
Normally she was the first or second there. But to be the last, it didn't sound like Whisperstar at all. But, happy at least that the other leaders had shown. She looked down at the band of cats below the rock. She'd never been up here on the rock before; in her before gatherings, she was sitting down looking up at the four cats.
She looked up at the sky, silently thanking Starclan for such a fate. And she looked down, keen eyes giving a dignified look as she cast her gazes at the cats around her.

Silverthroat looked over the gathered cats, with no sign of cats from her clan. She began to fidget uneasily. "Where is my clan" she said to herself, before slowly getting up to talk to some other cats. She suddenly remembered the description of the cat that attacked the cats back at camp. It perfectly fit Bane! However, what was Bane doing one their clans territory, was Sabrestar planning something? Or where the rumors of Bane leaving Duskclan true? Silverthroat changed directions and walked over to Sabrestar to ask her about it. Sabrestar! She yelled over the voices of the other cats.

ooc| Oooooh, that was a risky move right there. XD ic|
What was that? A voice; yelling her name.
A shadow flitted across Sabrestar's face as her icey-blue eyes flicked from the center of the Gathering towards the utter annoyance of the moment: Silverthroat. No formal greeting? No show of respect? Sabrestar was a Clan Leader. Lowly Warriors should know that respect should be given towards the higher ranked before speaking. Sabrestar didn't really care, but especially since Silverthroat was not even of her own Clan, she should not have the privelege of speaking to her like an equal.
Normally, if the she-cat were on her own territory, she'd be flinching beneath Sabrestar's fiery wrath; probably choking under the grip of her paws, or crumpled beneath her like a useless rag. But Sabrestar was wise; Gatherings meant Armistice. She knew not to attack. For now, of course. However cold and evil she was, she knew not to question Starclan; for it was the only Clan she held some ammount of respect towards. No, Sabrestar wasn't superstitious, she was just knowing. Cats who denied the reality of Starclan were too impudent to know their own good. Back to reality, Sabrestar's halted emotions betrayed the faintest flash of defiance before dying away into a deathly, threatening maliciousness.
A sneer ripped across her lips like thunder - but no sound escaped as she smirked coldly at the female, tail curling over her shining black back. Silver eyes narrowed.
"Yes?"

The ghost-like figure cut across the dark grasses at last. The MistClan leader bounded up beside Silverthroat, her medicine cat, as she looked around. The other Clans were here, she hoped they weren't waiting for her. She was slightly out of breath- the huge upset in MistClan had sent her into a busy schedule. Only those who looked closely could see that the leader looked a bit tired, and she was thinner than usual.
She mrowled a greeting to some cats, then trotted over to the stone where the leaders sat, nodding her head to them. She was the last to arrive, so she didn't know who was the first. Whomever it was, she would let the other leaders go first.
Quietly, the MistClan leader mulled over what she would say in her head.

The young leader couldn't help but heave a sigh of relief. Finally, they could begin. She looked down at Silver Throat, raising a 'brow. The cat needed to show some respect to a clan leader, yes, but she would dismiss it; even if she wasn't speaking to her.
The queen looked back up, letting the Medicine Cat and the Dark Leader have their conversation before beginning; it sounded interesting.
Hello, Whisperstar. She said lightly, tail flicking subtly.

Trillium, a Mistclan warrior, had followed Whisperstar from a short distance. She had debated against the circumstances about weather to attend the meeting or not. But, since she was not injured, she had decided to come. She blinked her blue eyes in a daze, for she hadn't slept since the Boneclan warrior, Night, had taken Honeymist and herself to their territory.
Her head nodding slightly, she turned her attention to the clan leaders, who were all in attendance.

The Clan Leaders green eyes blinked in equal respect to the other leader as she nodded her head in response. She hadn't seen her before. But she must have been the new TreeClan leader, for the other Leaders were accounted for. She supposed she would have to see soon.

Brindlepaw was excited to be picked to go to the Gathering. It was her first time. All of the scents mixed together confused her a bit, but she could pick out two distinct smells out of it all: Snowstripe and Featherstar. Her leader and her mentor. She sat quietly, letting any other cat apporach her if they pleased. She didn't want to seem too eager or desperate.

Smokepaw entered with dignity, not showing the glee that the other new apprentices showed. He sat near the outside of the group, not wanting to draw attention to himself.....The other Clans need not know anything about him, he was here to listen to the news that the Leaders had to share, and to represent his clan. And being a chatterbox that asks stupid questions was no way to represent DuskClan. DuskClan had dignity and were to be feared and respected.

Amberstar bowed her head, watching more and more cats fall into place around the rock, staring up. For once, she felt important; Like she belonged. Hardly anybody had noticed her existance growing up; Even if she was quite the pretty little thing.
She looked over them, awaiting to start. She couldn't wait to begin.

Amberstar, since you are the newest leader, would you like to begin the Gathering? Whisperstar didn't seem to want to start, Featherstar herself didn't want to begin, she'd ended the last one. As for Sabrestar, well, she never knew what the DuskClan leader was thinking. Amberstar was the only choice left. Besides, it was getting late. //Sorry guys, my posts stink today.

Blackheart entered the area, ears flattened and ebon pelt in disarray. He held a strong disliking towards other cats – the old tom was certainly set in his was. He padded lightly over to his young apprentice, nudging the tom with almost a fatherly motion. Maplepaw’s attack and kill of the vixen had risen the young tom in Blackheart’s eyes, and he felt a little more relaxed towards him at least.
Yellow hues swept the area, watching the other felines arrive.
[Crapola, oh well. I’m a bit tired anyway…]
