Dragonpelt couldn't supress a chuckle as the other tom nudged him playfully. His ears perked up again and he nudged Snowstripe.
"Hey, let's have a chase once the leaders have finished their speeches!" he said to her. "All of us can play, tag with your paws, I'd say tails...but you can see why that wouldn't work for me."

Dragonpelt gave her back a smirk of his own. He couldn't wait to play, being such a young tom he missed play a lot and longed to tire himself with a good run.
(OOC: Okay...no one is doing anything and I am uber tired...so I'm going to bed. Btw I am going to draw a bunch of our characters and put them up in my deviantARt gallery in case anyone is interested to see them!)

Maplepaw tilted his head and smiled up at his mentor. He listened intently as Amberstar began speaking, and was struck with a pang of ainxiety as he was again reminded of Goldenblaze. Where had he gone?
My cats... Trillium: Turkish van she-cat of about 3 years. She is a quiet, almost motherly warrior of Mistclan. Maplepaw: Brown, black, red, and white splotched tom of about six months. He is an apprentice to Blackheart in Treeclan.
The long-haired black torty tom stalked into the clearing, muscles flexing underneath his sleek coat. A glint of menace flickered in his hazel orbs, observing every cat now present and snorting. They looked so... ignorant, and foolish. He grinned, having the urge to cause trouble but keeping it locked up - the Gathering was a time of peaceful meeting and harmony under the watch of StarClan, so he better damn behave himself!
The DuskClan warrior weaved between the gathered cats, long tail flicking every now and then. He sat somewhere imbetween, not near anyone in particular as the young tom didn't know any of them, and therefore had no reason to talk to them. He looked up at the four leaders, waiting for this gathering to be over...[/size]
Only the strongest will survive Lead me to heaven when we die I am the shadow on the wall I'll be the one to save us all
Sitting on the far edge of the clearing, sat the dark chocolate femme. Mudfur's shoulders hunched as she looked about the cats, her ember hues narrowing savagely if any cat made a move in her direction. Tail wrapped about her haunches as she stifled a yawn. Nothing of decency had been swapped betwix the clans, and the shecat found this all a great waste of her time.
Claws kneaded the ground impatiently as she waited.

(To Loveless, Brindlepaw, Pinepaw, and Snowstripe)
Dragonpelt kneaded his paws restlessly. The clan leaders had barely said anything yet and he wanted desperately to have some fun. Then again, all of the cats he was talking to were in his clan...so he could just hang out with them when he got back home. Though the anxiety of the gathering was getting to him, he couldn't help but feel like something was going to happen. The tension in the air was thick, like the stench of a badger set.
"Snowstripe...do you think something is wrong...the leaders always seem so...worried..?" he asked her.
There's been a lot of tension between the clans lately.. She said calmly, tail flicking. All of them are recovering from the wipe out, and some are suffering more than others; like Treeclan. There's been a lot of drama, it's hard not for a leader to get uptight about it. He turned to look at the tom, sage eyes gazing at him curiously.

Onyxpelt skidded to a stop just before she got near the group of cats. She did know something of Gatherings- you were supposed to represent your Clan without making a fool of yourself- and coming tearing into the whole thing a bit late, well. She didn't figure it was the most dignified thing to be doing.
As if she'd just been sitting out on the very edge of the gathering for kicks, she trotted a little closer, blessing her black fur- they'd be less likely to notice a black cat than, say, a white one, or one of the otehr lighter colors. Close enough to hear, but far enough to not attract everyone's attention by wandering up late, Onyxpelt settled herself and flicked her tail across her forepaws. The little black cat licked a paw nervously. She didn't recognize hardly any of these cats. Even the other Treeclan cats, she didn't know well enough to just walk up to and start conversing with. Eventually, she gave up cleaning her paw and forced herself to sit still and listen.

Dragonpelt looked into Snowstripe's eyes as she stared into his own. Her gaze was curious, not the intense look of someone who was challenging him. He sidled closer to her, leaning against her flank to comfort her a bit. Dragonpelt hoped she wouldn't think of him as rude for this gesture. He turned his ears to the leaders, hoping they would finish their talk soon so he could go home and play with his new friends.
She let her tail flick in a contented motion as she smiled to her new-found friend, sitting side by side with him. She yawned. It was late; the trek here seemed forever, crossing the valley to get here. The gatherings always were late! Only the Treeclan had spoken; the others had yet to. She bowed her head thoughtfully.

The MistClan leader watched Amberstar make her update, nodding to herself. She seemed a good candidate for the TreeClan Leader, and also seemed kind enough. Whisperstar hoped that the red cat wouldn't give her Clan much trouble, but there was no way to make sure.
She looked at the other Clan Leaders, and seeing that none of them took the initiative, she walked up to replace Amberstar, nodding to her as she passed. She willed herself to push away her tired feeling, and let her muscles flex beneath her coat to make up for the fact that her eyes showed concern.
"MistClan is fairing well, also. Our kits are to be apprenticed within this moon. Though... we are missing a warrior, right now. Her name is Honeymist. If any cat knows her whereabouts, or has a clue, I would be grateful if you tell me right away."
She narrowed her eyes slightly and swept them over the crowd of cats. She didn't tell them about the other cats who left with HoneyMist, but who had returned injured. She flicked her tail and then receded back to the base of the rock, looking at the remaining two Clan Leaders for them to go up and speak.
She nodded her head as she stepped down from her spot to let Whisperstar pass and sit. She sat back down, tail curling around her feet and letting it flick at the tip. Her eyes remained fixed on Whisperstar, hearing her out.
Her eyes widened, dim but cool. So many cats were disappearing; she was determined to get to the bottom of it. She knew there had to be someone, or something that was causing the missings among the clans. But she nodded in a fair sort of way; at least Mistclan was faring well. She looked to the other two as Whisperstar stepped down, bowing her head respectfully, even if she was the same rank. She still was a respectful cat.

Featherstar waited until Whisperstar had padded down before she took her place. StoneClan is doing well, she announced. We have two new apprentices here tonight, Brindlepaw and Pinepaw, she indicatied the two with her tail. We have no cats missing but we will be sure to keep an eye out for Goldenblaze and Honeymist. she promised before stepping down. Now she waited for Sabrestar to speak.
Harsh, ice-blue eyes challenged the mass of felines gathered below her, feelings cold and uncomprehending as she stepped forth in front of the other three leaders, tail lashing a look of show and pride towards her continously growing Clan. From where she stood, Sabrestar could easily pick out her own Clan: their coats were sleek and shining with healthy sinew and muscle, their eyes glittering with the same menace buried within her own. Their presences resonated an aura fit to match a pack of wolves.
Beautiful.
Her sharply carved features were silhoutted by the moon; otherwise, the rest of her small, lithe body melted away into the shadows. Her long tail curled over her back.
"Duskclan flourishes. New members have joined, some denied of entry, others graced upon taking role as Warrior or Apprentice of my Clan. However, as I have come to notice upon my patrols along my borders, the southern part of the forest has taken a liking for Loners. More and more are coming. I advise all to take a stronger patrol about your boundaries. Perhaps the dissapearances of your members have something to do with this. However, Duskclan has not lost any numbers as of yet. Meticulous defense comes to importance now. "
Sabrestar's cool, melodiously callous voice rang peircingly through the clearing, like a razor-sharp blade cutting into thin fabric. Her warning did not betray the pact she shared with Bane; she did not speak of any Clans forming amongst the Rogues - but she hinted at the mysterious happenings by speaking of them. She knew, however the armistice she and the Loners shared, that they were liars. Liars who will stop at nothing to satisfy their own power and ambition -
Sounds familiar, doesn't it?
No, not to Sabrestar. She knows her limits, she is wise. She knows when to break through the border and when to fall silent and watch from the sheltered shadows.
Sabrestar was thinking about Bane.
The stoical she-cat did not let any of her thoughts leak through her mask of an emotionless cover. She fell silent for a few heartbeats, then inclined her head towards the crowd.
"This Gathering has been dismissed."

The Sharpened Sabre Kills. The Rose Is Twisted. There's Innocence In Poison.
It seemed like Stoneclan was the only one that had not had affections with something going on. She thought back to the two rogues whom had trespassed her territory, and the disappearance of Goldenblaze. She sensed, somehow, that the dissappearance of Honeymist was somehow connected. She even guessed that the happenings at the north end of Sabrestar's borders were also connected.. It just had to be; it didn't make any sense otherwise! It appeared Sabre was hiding something. But it wasn't unusual for gatherings to be secretive about their clans. She didn't pursue it anyways.
She sighed, looking over the cats staring up. Dismissed. She rose and dropped from the rock, walking straight through the crowd of cats. Treeclan cats! We are to return back to camp. Follow me! She commanded, her voice sharp. She dissappeared through the brush, amber tail flicking as if beckoning the cats to follow.
{To Treeclan Main Camp}

The MistClan leader watched and listened to the other reports, and nodded slightly to each one. She felt her fur bristle a bit at Sabrestars report. Maybe that was what happened to her Warriors and kits? She couldn't be sure, but was anxious to get back to Camp to inquire Trillium about it.
It was over, and Whisperstar gathered the few members of her Clan that had came that evening, and trotted down the hill and headed North back to MistClan Territory

Featherstar watched the two Clans leave and then padded down the hill and called to her clan, StoneClan, let's go back to camp. Then she began trotting back in the direction of the StoneClan camp, confident her clan would come behind her.
