Lillystar loped into the the clearing where the four clans met every full moon. She drew in the scents of many cats that still lingered in the tall grasses and closed her eyes briefly in the cool night air. Leaf-fall was upon them and this Gathering would be particularly chill, so she hoped talk could be ended swiftly, for she did not like the cold. She also hoped that this gathering would end on good terns, since the last one had not. The threat of the rogues still worried her and she fully intended to speak of Giddykit's band's intrusion. A cool wind lifted the long fur around her neck and she shivered a little, from what she was not entirely sure.
Shadowstreak padded into the clearing with Icepaw tight to her side, making sure her apprentice was safe since the threat of rogues was growing. Trillium, Ripplepaw and Rustpaw followed close beside them, completing their friendly group. Wishclaw, October and Double had been called ahead to flank their leader until they reached the site.
"Let's hope all goes well..." Shadowstreak said to Icepaw, sitting and curling her tail over her paws and waiting for Dragonpelt and Snowstripe to show up and of course for the other clans to come.

A cool wind ruffled Icepaw's fur as she padded next to Shadowstreak. Why is Mistclan always first to arrive? She thought.
"It seems like the gatherings are really close together don't you think?"
Icepaw shivered and curled closer to Shadowstreak hoping that the other clans would come soon.

Featherstar trotted into the clearing and up the hill. Yet another Gathering had arrived. And she hoped that this one went better than the last two. The good news, she thought to herself, is that there is no way in the world Sabrestar can accuse us of tresspassing. Featherstar had made sure none of her warriors had gone near the borders.
Good evening Lillystar. she greeted the MistClan leader. You too Icepaw, I suppose now since you're old enough. Who is your mentor? The StoneClan leader liked to pay attention to young cats, even those not in her Clan. They were, after all, the future of all the Clans.
ooc:// Sorry for the stinky post. I am braindead at the current moment.

Ripplepaw padded out into the clearing after Lillystar, and gave a yawn, stretched out and looked around. Seemed like it had just been the previous sunrise that she'd gone to the Gathering. She sat down by Icepaw's side, looking blankly through the StoneClan leader as she lapsed into her habit of staring into thin air again. She shook her head to make it go away, and stifled another yawn. It seemed more prone to happening when she was tired. Glancing around again, she caught the look of concern on their own clan leader, and guessed what she was thinking about, her ears bobbing down and back up again in an instant. Ripplepaw lay down, her head on her white paws, and looked miserably up at the moon. Oh Giddykit, why did you have to leave?

Icepaw was surprised to see the Stoneclan leader greet her,
"Hello Featherstar my mentor is Shadowstreak. Being an apprentice is much better than being a kit, you can get away with more."
Icepaw smiled and dipped her head to Featherstar. Icepaw turned to look at Ripplepaw.
"What's the matter? You haven't been yourself since Giddykit left."

[ if i should die within this hour ]
One could safely say that Double was swelling with pride, as he drew closer to his familiar Clan cats, in attendance to his second gathering. It seemed that being allowed to follow to this place was an awfully great honour for the tom, as as he paused just behind Lillystar, he inclined his handsome crown to both her and Featherstar in respect and acknowledgement of their ranks. He noted the punctuality of his own Clan, discovering that Lillystar had indeed been first to arrive. He settled where he had stepped paw, sitting intently with an alert gaze, casting his odd-coloured eyes over the gathering with a mysteriously silent air. Double rarely spoke unless spoken to.
The young tom watched the others; numbers were few to begin with, but he could safely assume that more cats would follow, hot on the tails of those who led them. His eyes landed upon the young kit of not so long before, the one who had appeared so smitten with the small, arrogant and somewhat annoying rouge that had tresspassed into MistClan lands. Gaze softening, he watched her few a few moments, feeling some understanding for her predicament but unwilling to speak and try to console her. There was a time and a place for such a thing - and moreover, he was not the right cat. The young apprentice would have her guidance, by her mentor, no less.
With a small, near silent, sigh; Double turned his head away from the kits to look back at Lillystar, awaiting further instructions. He was very much a Warrior - strong, silent, and always ready to die should his leader cry 'jump!' Sometimes, one wonders if MistClan knew just how lucky they were to have his loyalty.

Lillystar nodded her head to Featherstar.
"Greetings Featherstar, shame it is such a bitterly chilled night that we must meet..." she said, shivering a little. Her fur was silky, but not very thick and the cold got to her easily. She looked to her warriors below. "Feel free to speak with your friends, everyone can relax until the other leaders arrive!" she called out to them, then returned her attention to Featherstar.
Shadowstreak looked proudly at Icepaw when Featherstar commended her on being an apprentice now. Suddenly she spotted Dragonpelt and Snowstripe coming into the clearing after their leader and she bounded over to greet them. "Apologies for my rudeness Featherstar!" she called over her shoulder, "I'm just greeting friends!" She came to a stop and brushed her head against Dragonpelt's, welcoming her old friend. "Nice to see you Dragonpelt, you're looking strong!" she said, admiring his muscles and shiny pelt. "Oh and Snowstripe, are you with kits yet?" Much to even her own embarassment, there was something about kits that just made Shadowstreak act like a nut, she adored young ones!
Dragonpelt nuzzled his friend and pressed his tail against his mate's flank to encourage her forward and do the same. His fur flushed as Shadowstreak shouted about kits. "Do calm down about it would you...?" he asked, hanging his head and sighing pitifully, a rueful smile on his face.

Iceheart looked around the hill at the few cats that had gotten here already. she'd never been to a gathering sience shed recently joined stoneclan as a warrior. she hoped for that reason that something interesting would happen. that her first meeting with the clans wouldnt be marked by utter boredome. then she looked for someone from another clan to talk to it would be interesting to see what they where like.

Amberstar showed. She knew Starclan was already furious with her from the last gathering, and was expecting lighting to strike her at any moment, even if the sky was perfectly black and cloudless. She strutted efficiently into the clearing, taking her place upon the rock wordlessly and soundlessly, making only a mere nod towards the other leaders. She said not where she'd been the last gathering, and kept aloof even from her own clan during that time. She turned, waiting for her clan to arrive.

Snowstripe held her breath almost all the way to the gathering, and let it go deeply when she saw Amberstar perched lightly on the rock. Thank Starclan nothing had happened to any of them. She was proud to say that Featherstar was the only leader so far that was holding strong. She was greeted suddenly with Shadowstreak, and blushed as she announced to the entire gathering about kits. She gave a curt shake of her head. Soon, perhaps sometime after the gathering. She gave a quick glance in Dragonpelts direction before seating herself before the two cats. She flicked her tail eagerly. This was going to be a good one, she could tell.

Onyxpelt seperated from the shadows on the edge of the clearing, and bounded to near the edge of the cats, looking for anyone here she might know- besides her own clan of course. Which left, what, one other cat? And she didn't see Blindsong anywhere.
But Amberstar was up with the leaders, which was a good thing. Onyx swished her tail and then sat down where she was, near enough to be part of the group of cats waiting in the clearing, but not neat enough to any one group to be interrupting.

iceheart finally saw someone sitting away from most of the cats whom she didn't know so she decided to go meet them. she pushed her way through the other cats to where the cat was sitting. she sat down next to the black yellow eyed she cat and said "hello i dont know cats from any of the other clans and i might as well learn someones name, so who are you?"

Onyxpelt glanced up from cleaning a forepaw as a white cat came over to say hello.
"I'm Onyxpelt. And you?" Onyxpelt replied, waving her tail against the ground in greeting.

"I'm Iceheart, i'm a stoneclan warrior". iceheart looked up from their spot to the rock above."It looks as if amberstars here but i wish the others would hurry up this place seems to be fairly boring at the moment. None of my freinds from my clan where told to come". iceheart relaxed for the wait tucking her tail in front of her paws. "by the way what clan are you from" she said still looking at the at the large rock.

"Treeclan. I dunno where everyone from my clan is. I could always get up and go look. Kind of hard to see from here. But that would be rude!" Onyxpelt said with a friendly smile. She followed Iceheart's gaze to the rock, but of course nothing had changed in the past few minutes.

Amberstar and Onyxpelt. Those were the only two Treeclan cats that greeted Blackheart’s cool yellow gaze as the large black tom slipped quietly into the clearing. He situated himself slightly away from the others – not far enough to seem inhospitable If any cat decided to approach him to start a conversation; but the Treeclan deputy certainly wasn’t the most social cat in the clearing.

The white ghost padded softly into the clearing – her snowy fur, untainted and pure, glittering in the rising moonlight. Twin-hued orbs scanned the area – seeking several cats.
Then, the pretty fae saw one of the cats she was asked to find, and small paws ghosted the she-cat over to where one of her own clan, and a Treeclan female, were conversing.
“Excuse me, you are one of Blindsong’s friends, correct?”
Green and blue. Both stunning orbs fell on Onyxpelt, and Chainless flicked her tail slightly.
“She says she’s sorry for not making it – she just recently kitted.”

Icepaw decided that Ripplepaw didn't like that subject,
"I'll go try to meet some new friends I guess."
She got up and walked around the clearing. I wish there were more cats here. she thought silently.

((OOC: There's two of you Ice- people! You haven't the foggiest what kind of confusion that cause in my brain just now. BUT it's okay! Because now I have it aaaaaall figured out.))
Onyxpelt grinned widely at the pretty female that came over bringing news of Blindsong.
"Yes! I remember her, she's very nice! Will you tell her congratulations for me?" she replied enthusiastically before calming down once again. She was not, by habit, an overly exuberant cat. She did have her moments... but otherwise was pretty reserved. Which some folks tended to mistake for unhappy. Oi. But she was very happy for Blindsong!
She glanced Blackheart's direction a moment later, noting that now there was at least one other member of her clan here, besides Featherstar.
((Can you tell I'm still getting used to Onyx's color? ... Yeah.))

[ if i should die within this hour ]
Hearing the words that spilled so gracefully from the jaws of his leader, Doubleheart - as he was formally known - allowed his stature to relax a little as he looked over the gathering below with a warm look. It was a picture of friendship, and inter-clan joinings were definetly good signs. Double knew that the better friends opposing clans were, the less chance there was of some form of devastating war - but he also knew never to let two clans grow extremely close, for fear of striking up rivalries and cries of favouritism.
Sometimes Double thought he looked too deeply into things.
The handsome tom frowned slightly as he watched the cats interacting, unwilling to move fom his place close to his leader for several reasons. Partly, his unmeasurable loyalty tied him to the ground, in the spot where he knew he could defend Lillystar from any onslaught - but also because he actually didnt have any friends, wether from his own Clan or another. Of course he hoped that the other quiet warrior, Trillium, thought of him as a friend (for that would calm the lonesome cat somewhat) as he did her, only from the small reassuring smiles that they had given to ne another; but further than that, Double was the most loyal and lonely cat in all of Mist Clan. He dropped his gaze to the ground, but remained on alert for any signs of danger, or at least for the start of the meeting.
