Pitbulls are very misunderstood dogs. I have VERY unkind views on those who think unhighly of Pitbulls, and to spare you all, I'll stop here.
He's a beautiful dog, though. x33 Reminds me of the other pitbull puppy I met at the dog park once. His name was Rockstar, and he followed me a lot and just came and layed down in my lap. x3 He was so cute.
So long as he's not raised wrong, he'll be a great dog. x3 I envy you

Pitbulls are actually very sweet dogs. Generally. It depends on their individual personality and how they're raised and, sometimes, bred.

Some dog are inbred, and that tends to lead to behavioral problems- especially in purebreds. It doesn't help when people raise them to be vicious either.
Your dog is SO BLASTED CUTE. I just want to hug him. <3!

Well, as I told Bristle in the c-box, we can only have one dog right now, and my mother's fiancee has wanted a real pit bull since he was a kid. And the black one turned out to only be part pitbull. So my mum's fiancee gave the pup to a friend of his to buy his dream dog. ^^' Linkage: - [sleepy puppy~]- [still snoozing away]- [lazy blue eyes!]- [by the way, his name is Titus!]My mum's fiancee is holding the puppy--he's big for his age. |

edit - just to have a mini-rant about those who hate pitbulls, on Wikipedia, this is how they describe the disposition of the APBT:
"DISPOSITION People friendly. Rarely possessive, territorial, or protective towards humans. They are intelligent, trusting, and playful. As with any working or sporting terrier, the predominant and prevailing tendency of their spirit is to hunt vermin and formidable preditory animals."
Does that sound like your mean attack dog? No, I don't think so. An attack dog isn't very people friendly, very possessive, territorial, and protective towards humans. Not trusting or playful. Okay? OKAY. If anyone on this site has something to say about Pitbulls, take it up with me, and I will yell at you. |
