Redpaw is quite unlike the rest of his old Clan. He likes to sing, and has quite a good voice, too. He doesn't like killing, and blood makes him faint, but otherwise is quite outgoing. He is schizophrenic; his best friend is a figment of his imagination. Missy. He doesn't know that no one else can see her. She is about the opposite of him, but I'll tell you about that later. Redpaw hates to get in arguments, and just changes the subject if he disagrees with some one.
Story
Redpaw was born in a Clan, but not MistClan. He was born in MurderClan. MurderClan was ruthless; the leader, Dogstar, showed no mercy and would kill any weak cats in the Clan. Redkit, Creamkit, and Goldenkit were born to the swift and agile assassin, Featherwings, and her mate, a merciless brute, Wolfclaw. Creamkit and Goldenkit were all Featherwings and Wolfclaw wanted them to be - killers. But Redkit was happier with singing.
Wolfclaw was Dogstar's deputy, so the giant leader gave his son a second chance. The three kits became apprentices. Redpaw's mentor was Dogstar himself; Creampaw's mentor was the medicine cat, Silverfeather; and Goldenpaw's mentor was a tom called Sparkfur. But Dogstar could not toughen up the singing little tom.
Silverfeather gave Creampaw the name 'Creampool', and Dogstar made Goldenpaw into 'Goldenclaw'. But Redpaw stayed an apprentice for many moons after his brother's ceremony. The leader could not get through to him. Featherwings and Wolfclaw were ashamed of their soft son; they wanted nothing to do with him. Dogstar finally told Wolfclaw that he was going to either kill or exile the fluffy little apprentice, and Wolfclaw told him he wanted that thing dead.
Redpaw overheard his father and mentor talking and ran away from MurderClan.
