Twenty-four moons. The true eldest of the brothers.

- Character Description -

As far as size is concerned, Shinentai is as large as Battledream, however he doesn’t have the weight factor that gives her that keen strength, he’s more slender and lean. With sleek pure silver fur and sharply defined facial features, he could be [and often is] considered quite a handsome tom. His ears are generally hidden behind the ‘mane’ of fur.

Shinentai’s eyes are a startling, glowing pale blue/green, and stand out quite well against his silver fur.

This mane would be a quite defining feature, for all that it really isn’t a mane in the sense one might think. It is rather a sharp ridge of fur that starts at the top of his head, sending a few long strands into his face, and extending all the way down mid-back.

Due to the fact the he is Velvet’s firstborn son and was delivered during the days while she was imprisoned and experimented on within the Laboratory, he too was subjected to such experiments. There were not to the same degree of intensity or torture as was inflicted on his mother, but some of the chemicals has…changed him a little. Hence the ‘mane’ and his almost absurdly long claws [they’re so long he can only sheath half of their length, the other half is permanently unsheathed and are constantly sharpened to keep deadly].

Shinentai's fighting style consists largely of great, sweeping strikes. Claw-to-claw fighting with such long claws as his just isn't feasible; if he doesn't cleave straight through the other feline, they have ample time to get in close and wound him. As such, distance is really the key. To most, this would be impossible, but Shinentai's almost preternatural ability to 'see' what his opponent is about to do honed from years of battle, and his insane speed [with which he is able to escape away from many attacks, or to get behind the feline he's fighting against] enable him to fight with brutal effectiveness. Add to this his great strength, and you have a virtually unstoppable force any clan would desire to have working for them.

- Character Personality -

To be blunt, he doesn't have much of one. He's been shown to be a dedicated warrior, focused to the point of monomania on his goals, and even, to his detriment, easily duped into thinking he's something he isn't. He has no real friends, more enemies than are comfortable to count, and absolutely no romantic interests.

To be fair, this is due in large part to the fact that he was raised to be a fighter. He never knew his father, had been subjected to experiments by the twolegs in white.

He simply lives for the fight.

He knows he's the best, and doesn't hesitate to prove it. This is not to say that he's arrogant; he simply doesn't know how to be any other way. Such is the way Velvet raised him…

Shinentai is Velvet’s favorite. He doesn’t particularly like his mother; often he wanders away for moons on end so to get away from her, and he absolutely cannot stand Carnage. Dual Void and Unholy Confession are more tolerated, but when Carnage goes on about ‘Mother this’ or ‘Mother that’ he must stifle the urge to rip out the small tom’s throat. Indeed, he almost wishes that Carnage would do something to earn Velvet’s favor, if just so that he could finally be released from her insanity.

Contrary to what one might like to believe due to the terrible murders Shinentai has inflicted in Velvet’s name, he is not evil.

- Weaknesses -

The lengthy claws make it difficult for him to fight in close spaces. Also, he has a tendency toward monomania, which while devastating in a fight is quite dangerous to him in a more social setting. Shinentai's also rather short-tempered, and though he has been shown to care for some felines occasionally, it cannot be said that he is close to anyone emotionally.

Although, scary enough, Kestrel would likely be one of the few cats he'd get along with. oO She'd be a good sparring partner for him.

Kestrel might be one of the few cats who could make winning a fight hard for him. Not only is she fast, she's also extremely agile. I have a slightly unrealistic fighting style for her; she's kind of like an acrobat-- flipping around and whatnot.
They must meet someday. =P

Shinentai fights almost exclusively at a distance, so that would be one interesting fight.

And whether they meet in terms of allies or not, they will be meeting in the future because of Carnage and his future…ahem, misdeeds.

He’d be all like ‘Go away you persistently annoying she-cat’. Boundaries of any sort have no meaning for him; he goes wherever he wants and doesn’t care who he might have to step on in the process.

xD Oh dear. Pripyat and Spiderlilly? I can see it now... Pripyat's family comes from the Ukraine; at the time of the Chernobyl disater there, his anscestors caught a bit of radiation. Since then, mental illness (as well as very odd genetics o.o) have run in his family. Therefore, at least one or two of his kits would be insane o.o

Bane'd have many crazy kits on his hands xP ...Except that both Spiderlilly and Prip are madly skilled at fighting, so said kits would also be...and thus, when they grew up, BoneClan would be lucky to have them<3 xD
