[6]Character Personality[3]
Crazy? I think not. Obsessed? Definitely.
Digit has a fetish with numbers. He loves them. He loves to count things. Birds, bones, cats, rocks, spots, everything that can be counted; he'll count. Anything that has to do with numbers, he adores.
Of course, Digit is intelligent, and quite a sweetheart and gentleman, but he just goes crazy over numbers that people over see his kind nature for that of a insane one. A pity, no?
But Digit doesn't mind, not at all. If people can't understand him, then screw them. They can die for all he cares. Seriously, because then he could count their bones.
However, may you understand him and accept his insane behavior, he'll adore you too, and would willingly put his neck on the blade just to save your hide.
Digit also has a soft spot for cuddly she-cats. He hopes to find a extra cuddly one to be his soul mate.
[7]Character History[2]
Digit grew up in an alley beside a clock store. The owner would often feed them, and let the family in during the rain. For irony, the clock store was next to the clock tower, which of course caused Digit to be slightly deaf after a year or two. But he didn't leave, oh no. He was too interested in the symbols on the clock faces. Roman numerals, little hands, big hands, normal digits, digital ones that flashed and glowed.
Tick.
Tock.
Tick.
Tock.
All these numbers fascinated him. He would stare for hours on end, watching them, studying them. Digit became obsessed.
However, all dreams must end.
The mighty clock tower was felled in an earthquake, crushing the tiny shop which had stood by it's side for many years.
Fifty-seven to be exact.
With this, Digit left, as he, his family and the storekeeper and his wife survived, though he having been separated from them. He expanded his knowledge of numbers, becoming more and more addicted to their points and curves, to the way their names rolled off the tongue, and to the very fact that numbers could be involved with everything.
Numbers became his fetish.
And what was this? A flock of birds!
One, two, three, four, five....
A cat should watch where his paws lead him.
[8]Anything Else[1]
Digit speaks with an accent, to the adopter, they can choose. He is also slightly deaf in both ears.
