Character’s Name:Greed
Gender:Tom
Breed of Cat:American Shorthair
Age:Adult
Character Description:Character Personality:Greed is the living embodiment of his name. He is brash, hard-headed, and, well, greedy. He continuously lusts for power, she-cats, territory, and the more that he cannot have the things he wants the more he desires them.
To say the Greed hasn’t always been this way would be telling an atrocious lie. He’s done things that would make a normal cat shiver, or run away howling in despair.
But he is not evil.
No, this tom lives only for himself and what he can get. If it means there’s something in it for him, he’d even join a clan. But would he remain loyal?
History:One would be amazed to find that, although this tom was born in a shelter by a she-cat allotted to die, he did not remain there. A pregnant twoleg and her mate picked him, took him away from that terrible place and the death that could have been him, that was his mother’s and all of his siblings but one…
There, in his new life, the young Greed seemed relatively happy. His name was different then; they called him Spriggan, not like he really responded to it much anyway.
That wasn’t the name that lingered in his heart.
The female twoleg who owned him gave birth to a little one when he was almost nine moons old. Greed was drawn to the small bundle – warm and scenting of milk. Almost like a kit. The parents though it was adorable, the way the tom seemed to dote on their young daughter.
Ah, but the beginnings of his greed began to stir, to pull at the golden tom’s heart. He watched the little one with a new light, taking more interest in it.
Four more moons passed. The parents trusted the tom with their child, so they stepped outside to visit with their neighbors, leaving the window to the child’s room open so they could hear her if she started crying.
She didn’t even get that chance.
Silently, ever so silently, Greed slipped into the child’s crib. He curled up, directly upon the child, making sure that her face was covered.
The sleeping little one never woke up, suffocated by the fluffy fur of what was though to be a loved, trusted house pet.
Oh, but it didn’t end there.
Cats fear twolegs, right? Feared the power that they held within their oddly formed paws – the death they could bring so swiftly.
Greed wanted that power.
So he ate the baby’s heart.
Slipping away like a silent wraith, a ghost in the night, he vanished from the twoleg nest…slipping from that world.
And entering a new one.
Now living as a rogue, who is to say what exactly will happen to this tom? Will greed choose a place in the war? Maybe a clan to deceive, to pilfer from, to gain what he desires?
Anything Else:Greed is Annawake’s brother. Nothing much else there, they don’t know about each other or anything.
