P3r50|\|4|_17y ;; Rune has what is called a 'thought disorder.' In midsentence he may switch topics or stop talking altogether. He sometimes repeats words or echoes another's. He sometimes goes off track and says something that is completely unrelated to -or barely related to- what he just said. He sometimes switches words around, and sometimes falls into complete incoherence, during which he spouts random gibberish that becomes increasingly more difficult to understand. Eventually, he falls silent and seems to 'reboot,' and seems much more normal for a while. He sometimes gets frustrated or confused because of his nonsensical way of thinking, and every now and then becomes very snappish out of stress.
He is an insomniac; he rarely, if ever, sleeps, and when he does the sleep is light and full of strange dreams in which nothing is coherent.
When he is not acting strange somehow, he is a kind cat. He loves to play with kits and enjoys conversing with others. He is rather easily embarassed and does not like to be in the spotlight. He does not handle stress well at all and is somewhat of a pacifist. He will fight if he has to, but he hates every moment of it, and always feels faintly sick when he is confronted with blood.
He is friendly, though constantly easily distracted.
4pp34r4|\|<3 ;; Rune is a slightly faded light orange, verging on tan but not quite. He has odd tabby stripes on his sides; these stripes are broken and tilted at odd angles, making them look somewhat like ancient runes, hence his name.
He isn't particularly good or bad looking, but unlike a certain Medium in MistClan, is memorable by his odd stripes.
And his eyes. His eyes are like opals-- light, flecked by countless different colors that shimmer and spark with the lights. They are deep, staggeringly beautiful eyes.
He perpetually looks tired, mostly because he doesn't sleep.
|-|1570ry ;; Rune was thrown out of his group of cats -they were his family, and they met often with other extended family groups, like mini-clans- because he spoke up during a meeting. That isn't a crime, but it was what he said. Or, rather, what he didn't.
His words had been incoherent, complete gibberish. His family claimed that he had disgraced them, both because of the unfortunate phrasing of his words as well as his 'little problem.' They said they didn't want him tainting their family with his 'stupid scewed-up brain,' as his older brother put it.
You see, in his family, the males had a duty: they must protect the family, and find a mate to provide more kittens for the family and further their bloodlines.
The family felt that Rune's 'retardation' would defile their bloodline.
As a result, he was kicked out. Literally. Two of his older brothers dragged him away, and one of them grabbed him by the scruff -he was always the smallest- and hurled him out the front door of the abandoned twoleg establishment in which they lived.
Since then, Rune has wandered. He seeks a home, because he is used to living with others.
Who will take in poor exiled Rune?[/i]
