Character Personality:
Shangsword is older in mind than in body.

The wisdom that seems to shine in his eyes is often given away when he chooses to speak, though it is often in a very deliberate and well timed manner. Shangsword often times refuses to speak at all, and instead watches the felines around him, responding in eye contact and movements of the head. The only life he has known it one of isolation, being accused of being an iconoclast and many other things. He does not know how to treat others with respect, and he has never been respected by anyone he has ever encountered in his life time. The best way to baffle him and make him truly speechless is to be kind or give him the respect he seems to command and lust for constantly.

In fact, Shangsword seems to have a profound way of looking down upon felines. If there is one thing the tom believes in strongly it is that difference changes the way felines look at another, and changes the way society feels towards someone who is ‘different’. This is one thing the tom seems to respect above all. His profound dislike for most cats spawns from his treatment before he could escape his home.

Constantly beaten down both physically and mentally, Shangsword possesses a strange mix of fear and loathing for the feline race as it is today, and will very obviously shy away from those who are not known to him. In general, Shangsword is always very physical, even bordering on violent to cats who irk him.

This is meant to keep most cats at a length so he cannot get hurt, though the braves ones who have any gall to approach him are appreciated.

But hidden beneath this impenetrable exterior, is simply a little tom who only wishes to be cared for and loved.

Around his closest friends, Shangsword is a completely different cat. He tends to be loud, and very random, often times bordering on what others would say is 'hilarious'. He likes to joke and laugh; and will often hint on inside jokes. He likes to go out hunting and loves to fight. He's usually seen with a smile on his face, if he isn't making some sort of face to make others laugh or something of the like.
