Characters Name: ShadowRain
Gender: Female
Breed of Cat: Erm... she's a mix, a mix of what? I have no clue...
Age: two seasons and seven moons, she says. She's actually pretty young, but you'll bever find out. ;D
Character Desctription: Twilightrain is a completely black cat with the exception of a white tail tip and white left paw. Her eyes are a pale green with mere slits as pupils. Her tail is long, and she has long legs, she is of a tall build, though very flexible. She's fast and swift, she was perhaps a tough fighter or good hunter that was lost to her former clan. She has a long pinkish scar over left eye, most lickly her fur hasn't grown back since it was ripped off in the thin line of a scar. It goes from her forehead to her collar bone. Her left white paw always seems to be dyed red. No one knows if it's berry juice or blood of prey or cats, alike.
Character Personality: The name Shadowrain describes the she-cat's personality well. As cold as the rain in the forest at night, the endless barrage of icy darts pounding on your fur, as if mocking you, telling you,’ You are weak.’ Shadowrain not only is cold and mocking, but she’s over critical, and has a microscopic sense of humor, unless she’s in one of her insane moods. She’s antisocial, and unfeeling, almost; her eyes are her only give away, at least her eye, since she lost her left. However, she can be very blunt and honest, rather than tell lie upon lie, because of this, it’s easy to tell whether she liked you or if she didn’t, and she is rather unusual with that honesty for a cat of her stature and cunning mind.
Her mind is ever turning, like a great mandana wheel, spinning and spinning, thinking up new strategies, new ways, new things, in general. She’s usually lost in thought when she’s alone, staring up at the star-lit sky, lost in the dark portals of her mind as it wheels on and on. Besides this, Shadowrain is pretty much as follows: Cold, harsh, over-critical, strategist smart, sauvé with words, impassive, doesn’t care what other think, stubborn, and very hard to like.
Character History: Shadowrain’s history is short, however, complicated. She was born at the strike of twilight, when the shadows stretch to their longest reach, in the caves of her former clan. The mother died while giving birth, and her littermates and she were put under the care of another queen. As the abandoned litter grew up under this queen’s care, she realized that Shadowrain was… different. She would sit quietly next to the cave entrance and watch her littermates wrestle and play, she would only draw curious lines on the ground with her claws, rather than play with them. When she did play with her littermates some kit would end up getting hurt, and Shadowrain would feel guilty… but an overwhelming feeling of satisfaction would creep in her heart.
She became addicted to this ‘feeling’. She wanted more of that satisfaction. Each time she raked her claws down another’s pelt, it felt so good. She knew the pain she was causing them, and she loved it. She wanted more.
Through her apprentice years, and finally to the time she became a warrior, the need for that feeling grew more and more. Killing birds and mice… that only satisfied the weak. She finally left the clan, to be out on her own, so she would not be bound to that of this imaginary ‘Starclan’, and their little rules about killing another cat, she went as she pleased, and roamed the territories of all four clans. Though her scent is fresh in one territory, she’s usually in another, the carcass of dead prey in the air. She kills all prey in sight, and moves on to another area, if there’s a cat in the way, so be it, they die. It’s their fault for being there. On the rare occasions that she kills another cat, and gets caught, well, she usually escapes are strikes a deal. No one has killed her yet… but a brave cat clawed her eye out.
As she roams through the territories, killing prey and leaving it to rot into crow food, she rarely thinks of the consequences. However, once she has satisfied her addiction she will most likely go to a random clan’s camp (she’s usually to lazy to go back and collect the prey she’s killed) and steal a mouse or two. Otherwise, if cats on the other terra find the dead prey, whop-dee-do, they don’t have to do any work, and just pick up the prey, as long as they come before the maggots eat it. She usually travels in a circle around the center where all four territories meet, so she only kills those edges of the terra’s food supply.
Anything Else: Umm. When Shadowrain strikes a deal, it's usually a pretty fair one. As a 'professional'(that's what she calls herself) she will go and spy on another clan, and then, in return she gets to stay a few days, feast on the clan that hired her's prey, and have a place to sleep for so and so amount of days.Usually, when she's found roaming in the terra's and the leader want's to do something to her, she'll offer this, or something else. This something else is assasination of another cat. She will kill or injure another cat badly, for a much larger price, which is to have a free pass through this clan's terra and a free pass through their camps. Why is this so high? Well, Shadowrain does not like killing other cats, but if she has to injure or kill for her own life, she'll take that ticket.
(Hope this is alright!)
