Description:
Hawkclaw is quite a handsome young chap. His fur is mainly black, with mottled toffee markings. Unlike most Maine Coon's, his fur is medium to short, but his long tail is rather fluffy. He is average sized, but despite that he still has a good deal of strength, but he uses stealth more often than not in battle. His eyes are hazel, with a ring of gold around the iris. His name was given to him for a reason - and that was his unusually long claws which he takes pride in.
Personality:
Some call him cocky, and that's pretty much true. He's young, what do you expect? But he isn't arrogant. He likes to think of himself as a ladies man, though how true that is is questionable. He loves life, is rather energetic but knows when enough is enough. There is, however, a darker side to this tom - he loves the whole idea of their being a 'dark side' and being a part of it. He loves the thrill of battle and the feeling he gets when he's the bad-ass. He's a loyal figure, and respectful to those superior to him. To those lower than him and to his friends, he's just like a kit again.
History:
Hawkclaw was born into a litter of 4 in a nearby forest. His mother and father were loners, though Hawkclaw had never met his father, who mother called vermin. Now, let's be serious. Hawkclaw's mother was weak. She was a small maine coon with no backbone and no idea how to raise a litter of four. At a young age the litter were abandoned, and Hawkclaw's mother ran - and most likely killed later on.
Helpless and starving, on a rainy day the kits were found in an abandoned badger's den, squealing. I say kits, though only two had survived for so long - Hawkclaw and his brother Ravenwing. They were found by a cat from a clan called DarkClan, and they were taken in and raised as if they were one of the queen's kits. They were brought up to believe that the queen was their mother.
For two years they lived like this, and they grew to be loyal warriors to DarkClan. So why wasn't Hawkclaw still with DarkClan? He soon found out the truth about the queen not being his mother, and wanted to find who his real parents were. Unlike Ravenwing, Hawkclaw wasn't satisfied with staying in this clan, and saw he moved on, travelling for several days before coming across this new land. In this land, he hopes to become part of clan life, and maybe even find out who his real parents are.
