She acts c o n f i d e n t, though now and then there are d o u b t s. She can be scarily i n t e n s e and r e l e n t l e s s. She attracts r e s p e c t wherever she goes, but does not demand it. She is p a s s i o n a t e about her beliefs, but has a k i n d heart. She is usually s e r i o u s but can warm up. She seems calm but that is only because of her perfect s e l f - c o n t r o l. Inside, she has a lot of r a g e at her disposal, though is not violent.

She is p r e t t y and s l i mly build. She is very f a s t, maybe the fest cat in the Meadow. Her fur is w h i t e with g r a y splotches. Her eyes are m i s m a t c h e d, one b l u e and one y e l l o w.

personas - He is kind and chivalrous, and tries to be the voice of reason to Kestrel. She is his friend and he worries about her. He may be the only one that does.
He has a pretty good sense of humor, and his just as driven and serious as Kestrel when it comes to injustice.

She is more laid-back, and has a tendancy to make jokes at other's expense. She means no harm, however, and would defend her brother to the death. She is highly free-spirited, and though she is protected from being eaten and known well enough among the RisingClanners, she gives her alliance to none. She would do them a favor, but dislikes to be involved too deeply.

story - When Brightgate was very young, just on his first flight -and a little early- he crashed and broke one wing. A young she-cat called Kestrel, ironically, patched him up as best she could and took care of him. They became great friends, and when his wing had healed sufficiently, he made excuse after excuse to stay. The she-cat was clever, though, and understood; she invited her friend to stay, so he did.
Then one night a terrible windstorm struck; Brightgate was yanked right into the air by the wind and carried away. Kestrel raced after him, and for a moment it seemed she could outrun the wind and catch him, but she could not. The wind faltered for a moment and Brightgate tumbled into a river, where he was bourne many leagues downstream.
Moons passed, and Brightgate healed his injuries and set out to find her. Her reputation in the Meadow guided him to her, and they reunited recently. She remembers him, since he came after her amnesia.

Ashloom tracked him down a while after. She is not truely a part of RisingClan, but she comes and goes a lot.
