The cat's paws made soundless movements across the border as she stalked. Her bright blue eyes glowed in the dim twilight sky as she waited. She really had no idea what she was doing, yet here she was. She was pursueing the dreams her mother had told her about. The distance between her and the Clan seemed so far away, yet so close. Would they accept this stranger as an apprentice? She had no idea how these things worked. Birds overhead in flight called out, vanishing into their tree homes somewhere around.
The sun shimmering cast her shadow on the ground as she paced back and forth. She couldn't rest. She was too nervous for rest, otherwise she would have rested and waited. Instead her paws traced a trail restlessly back and forth. She let out a deep sigh, looking at her beautiful coat. She ran her rough tongue over the surface of it, ridding it of burrs that had stuck in it on this long journey. She stood again though, just as quick, and continued moving... She could only wait now.

Flowers color her fur...
The tall she-cat panted as she walked along the border of her territory. The greenleaf sun was blazing, and her thick pelt felt heavy and opressive on her skin. Hoping to find some relief in the cool, misty river that ran down the middle of her home, she walked a little faster. Finally, she reached the river and slid her paws into the shallows, relishing the drop in temperature. For a leader she was a rather laid back cat, but her duties were still very important to her.
It was because of this that she paused, intending to lap a few sips of the cool water, and lifted her head once more. Sniffing the air, she noticed an umfamiliar scent that was distinctly feline. Pulling her soggy paws out of the water, she stood on the bank and yowled a warning to any intruders that might have wandered onto her lands. Through the thick mist over the river, she couldn't see the stranger, but she could tell they were there.
"Whoever's there, come over here and show yourself, bouncing around in the mist will do you no good!" she called out, waiting for the cat to make itself known.
...justice rules her mind.
