Blindnight walked silently on the edge of the borders. He felt alone. So, so, alone. His soul and heart festered in darkness. He paced back and, forth and back....Noel.....He looked up at the brightening sky. It was dawn again. Blindnight dropped his head and sighed. He walked inside the borders and ran deeper and deeper. Suddenly, a smell caught his interest. He inhaled deeply. Shrew. Blindnight dropped expertly into a hunting crouch. He felt his muscles coil like spring-loaded clamps. He pounced and delivered a swift, killing, bite to the throat. He finished and sst down heavily. He had eaten, but the rest of him still felt hollow.

[ just a note, but you might want to change 'squirrel' to 'bird' or something similar; since RisingClan does not have many trees, squirrels would be very rare in the territory. ]"Tell me, cat--do you have a sense of smell?"
The she-cat's sharp voice drifted down to the tom.
Kestrel stood atop a small rise, backlit against the rising sun. Her mismatched eyes, one cool blue, the other fierce yellow, glowed in the brightening light. Her head was up in an authoratative stance. She both moved and spoke as if she were leader here...which was all good, because she was leader here.
The gray and white she-cat padded down the incline, her narrowed eyes fixed on the tom. "Unless you have no sense of smell," she meowed dryly, irritation strong in her voice, "You ought to have noticed the border you just crossed. You are in RisingClan territory, tom, and that piece of prey you just took belongs to my Clan."

[Sorry! Lots of homework lately!] Border? Oh, c'mon. He'd heard of this clan. Rising Clan. He'd also heard of the leader that he knew stood before him. What was it again? Kreamy? No, Kestrel! That sounded about right. Kestrel. Leader of a rogue clan. "Sorry," he muttered. "I do not wish to create conflict." Blindnight looked down at his paws and remembered Noel again. He was so, so lonely. "I don not wish to create conflict," he repeated "I merely seek.....acceptance."
