I had already answered this on your character sheet thread, but I could answer it here to make it more public and I can get the other admin's input on the matter.
In my personal opinion, BoTW has far too many clans and groups; 7 clans, and two underground groups. Frankly, it's getting hard to keep track. However, what you may do I suppose is start out as a rogue, and you can see if you can find other players/characters who might be sympathetic to your causes and join you. I see no problem with that.
However, I am only one admin, and I would suggest finding Bane and Umber's opinions on the matter, or even some Global Mods if they'd like to put in their thoughts.
