Age: Thirty-four moons.
Gender: Tom
Personality:
I did it for you - Diesel takes responsibility towards others very seriously. He always tries to do his best by them and dislikes it when he fails them; he does everything in his power not to fail. He takes his responsibility so seriously though it can distort his view somewhat and he at times takes the responsibility farther than he should. His care for others leads him to behave in a rather friendly way, but he may act overfamiliar, which can be insulting to others.Description:
Is it sinful to wish to mean something? - Diesel is rather prideful--not arrogantly so, but it's there all the same. Sleights dig in deep to his skin, whether to himself or others he feels are in his care. This pride gives him a gentlemanly manner that can be quite flattering--at the least he has fairly good manners. He strives to be an example of his noble position and bearing--when he's not throwing that position wrecklessly aside because of his pride anyways.
It takes the grand to appreciate the simple - If anything from his raising has been learned, it is that unattainable dreams are certainly the best kind. Striving to fulfill such dreams gives a feline true appreciation of the small things in life. How one step may only be one for you, yet may mean so much to another. That giving your best try is what matters more than anything--it is in the doing, not the obsessing and the wanting, that you become the best of yourself. Somewhere along the way...he forgot that once. But rediscovering what it means to hope and honestly try, not lash out desperately, has given Diesel a perspective on life that can only be described as...beautiful.

Other:{ so many thoughts that I can't get out of my head
I try to live without you, every time I do I feel dead
I know what's best for me
But I want you instead
I'll keep on wasting all my time-- }
( Just a Second Class Warrior
with a first class heart )
In a nutshell.
--> Born the illegitimate son of North Faction’s clan leader.
--> Grew up, trained to be a high-ranking warrior in the clan.
--> Territory dispute with West Faction; met Songstrife and Voodoo. Became great friends with the two felines, met witht them many times as well as avoided conflict with them during territory battles.
--> Songstrife has two kits by Diesel, Kaizer and Trent. Trent is killed early on by the Faction, Kaizer is secreted away and planted into Ganglife. [Kaizer grows to be the cat that is the first of Spiderlily's Enforcers, fyi~]
--> Aware of growing tension between all Faction and Gang cats against the head Mafia cats; went to meet Songstrife and Voodoo at Faction boundaries.
--> Caught, Songstrife is brutally killed and Voodoo captured by Mafia cats.
--> As forces raise to take out the city's Mafia cats, Diesel desperately joins the squadrons in the hopes of rescuing Voodoo.
--> The battle begins, and Diesel witnesses what appears to be Voodoo killed by a Mafia cat. He battles to the scen, where there is no body, hide nor hair of his best friend. Many cats are lost, but the Factions seize control over the city in the end.
--> But he couldn't find Voodoo amongst the remains, and eventually Diesel couldn't hang around there anymore. His Faction was looking for him and he had no intention of going back. He deserted, leaving the city with no particular destination in mind. He was never going to stop waiting for Voodoo, that much he had decided.
--> He wouldn't go far.
--> ..just far enough to keep his head low.
--> He still hasn't quite given up on finding Voodoo, either.
Strengths[/blockquote]
Physical prowess aside, he's a loyal and steadfast friend. He's always there when you need him, and he believes firmly in helping felines for the sake of helping felines. There doesn't have to be anything in it for him except the satisfaction that he's doing something good for the world, because in his opinion he has a lot to make up for.
He's also an eternal optimist, in the way that the glass is neither half empy nor half full because that sort of thing is irrelevant. What matters is that it's there for you when you need something to drink. He thinks about the world in very simple terms and doesn't worry much about anything. He's certain everything will be okay in the end, because they have to be, because the world has to make sense somehow. He's stubborn in a way that keeps him hopeful, as he's able to keep believing against all odds that things will work out.
He's still waiting for Voodoo to turn up again.
Weaknesses
Diesel's very trusting of his friends, to the point of being gullible. He's that friend you say, "You're so gullible, it's written on your ceiling." to and be rewarded with a puzzled silence in which he briefly glances at the ceiling before adamantly denying that he's that easy to fool.
On a more serious side, sometimes Diesel gets to feeling genuinely ineffectual. He hides it well, but losing Voodoo while he was right there, watching, was never something he was able to get over, and it's something he doesn't really like about himself. It makes him falter when it comes to helping others at times because he thinks to himself, surely there's someone better suited for this than me. He fights the feeling, the nagging little whisper in the back of his head, but it's rare that he wins against it.
