A she-cat walked into the boundaries of MistClan. She had been looking around and thought this clan would suit her the most. The memories of being abandoned by her own clan many many moons ago still floated in her mind. Floating Wind was her name, her name in her old clan was Windkit, before she was thrown out. She wished and wished very hardly to Starclan, that she will be a loyal and proud warrior of MistClan.

Waters of mystery... The large mottled she-cat strode pawstep after careful pawstep. Recent storms had made the rocks around MistClan's entrance very slick and she had to walk with care or else slip and twist a paw. Her coat was sleek and glossy, nearly water resistant and her limbs were strong and sturdy. Raising her snout to the air, she sniffed into the cooling wind and picked up the scent of an intruder. Fur bristling slightly, she came to the spot where the scent was strongest and sat down, curling her tail around her paws.
"Who goes there?" she called into the chill.

The she-cat bows down in respect and mewed "I am no harm to your clan I really just like to join your clan. Please" Her head stayed down since the cat is a formal warrior or leader of the MistClan.

Rivers of confusion... Lillystar observed this unknown cat with curiosity and just a bit of scorn. It was awfully presumptuous of this cat to come onto her lands and simply ask to be part of her clan, all without giving a name or any sort of clarification about where they'd come from.
"Answer me this stranger, what makes you a worthy candidate to become a member of my clan?" Lillystar asked, narrowing her eyes. "You've not even introduced yourself and in the presence of a Clan Leader, that is not something to be taken lightly." The flower strewn she-cat sat patiently, waiting for a proper response from this loner.

Afraid to be rejected, Floating Wind bowed and said "My deepest apologies. I am Floating Wind. My clan a little more north of here, disowned me when I was a kit. I was a loner until I found your clan." Her voice was not filled with hatred, but with sadness. "I am loyal to my clan, not matter what. I may not be a real warrior, but I truly understand the warrior code and everything within' it. If I have to chose between clan and kin, I will defiantly chose Clan. If that wasn't enough, how may I prove to you that I will and am royal to this clan?"

Stream of consciousness...
"Ah, now that's much better," the MistClan leader replied. "You should always remember to introduce yourself to a leader, it's simply polite." The tall leader looked over the she-cat once again, gauging her strength. "I suppose you could join my clan, but I warn you, the training will not be easy as you are most likely far behind that of my warriors..."

Floating Wind smiled in relief as she was let into a new clan. A clan life, just what I wanted, somewhere to fit into. Floating Wind walked more towards her new leader, slowly careful not to alarm her. She bowed down as she hoped that she would lead her to their camp, she was good at smelling scents, but it's too far away and too many cat's scents for her to know where to go to.
