-[ Character Description ]-

He's only somewhat larger than average, but his body is all wiry muscle that lends him impressive strength and agility. The mess of spiky black fur that he calls a pelt is undoubtedly his most noticeable feature, and has been know to swallow combs whole never to be seen again. His eyes are a faintly glowing violet. He has plenty of scars from his years in Ordealclan, as a kittypet, and subsequently as a Laboratory specimen [where he met Shinentai at], though the only noticeable one is a faint line on his jaw.

-[ Character Personality ]-

Fair is energetic verging on hyperactive, and hugely extroverted. He really, really likes other felines, and he loves talking. About himself, quite frequently, or any other topic that catches his fancy. More than anything, though, he's just a really nice guy, and will resolutely attempt to brighten the life anyone who he's convinced needs cheering up. He has an almost instinctive tendency to protect anyone weaker than he is, and a more than a bit of a self-sacrificing streak. Fair has the ability to remain preternaturally lighthearted and optimistic in even the worst situations, and seems to be physically incapable of angsting for any length of time. Which doesn't mean he can't be serious when he needs to be; he just doesn't see the point most of the time. In his not-exactly-humble opinion, felines who sit around brooding need a good whack upside the head, and he'll be glad to be the one to give it to them.

-[ Weaknesses ]-

While his pride in his talents is undoubtedly justified, his cocky attitude can easily slip over into excessive self-confidence. Fair is obviously ungodly annoying when he's bothering anyone who just wants to be left alone, damnit, and his eternally upbeat attitude can start to grate after a while. There comes a point at which overwhelming cheerfulness in the face of gloom 'n doom stops being comforting and starts being even more depressing. And if someone's his friend, he really wants to think the best of them; he likes to believe that almost everyone has at least some good inside them, and there are times when this can make him overlook minor flaws, such as, oh, upcoming psychotic episodes.

Riiight, so I keep coming up with add-ons to the plot idea. *shotdown* Fair here isn’t ‘important’ per-say, but he is the one cat to ever call himself Shinentai’s friend and is perhaps the other tom’s one link to sanity.

edit : Shinentai reminds me very strongly of a character I made up recently. She's somehow related to Pripyat, and is a rather screwed-up kitty; she has a sort of mane/ridge/crest thing like Shine, black patches and crazy stripes and eyes of some neon color. I'd wanted to play her here some day, but she has such an outlandish appearence o.o And now that Shinentai is around, it would seem like copying. And I know that Pripyat's family makes no sense, but she might be a little too weird for a cat born naturally. Shinentai was a lab cat, so that makes sense...and Prip's family is still suffering the effects of radiation absorbed years ago. I dunno. o.o
