Dashan, Nani's mate and former alpha, has recently died after many long seasons of wise, strong, and ferocious leadership. Although a younger male should have challenged him long before his death, nobody would take on the wise alpha as he led them to safety and plenty again and again. They could not argue their prosperity while they watched other packs suffer.
But now Dashan is gone and Oko is leader, but rumbles of dissent are spreading after a rough winter. Then, by pure luck, Shani stumbled upon the scent of Oaksnout (formerly Kono). He had been taken as a pup by a rival pack with the promise of killing him (while really planning to raise him as a rival), but was abandonded in the forest after they discovered his brain damage. He was then picked up by Mudstreak and Autumnflower. Now, so many seasons later, Shani has picked up the scent trail from the mixed family's journey to StoneClan (a mother never forgets the scent of her pups). Oko has decided to follow it, with the promise of reuniting with his son and a better land.
Me and Brighteye will decide who gets who. Please, use this form that I've given below. This is a big-ish plot for StoneClan, so Cindurr, if you wanna reply to this with something to say by all means |3 You need to be literate, or at least up to Brighteye and I's standards. Brighteye also gets two more picks since I have three and so far she only has one ^^;

I wouldlovelovelove to roleplay Taru, but the thing is... I don't know what type of dog he is! (These ARE dogs, right...? -feels very stupid-) I'm assuming they are beagles, because that is what Oaksnout is. As soon as I could get this info, I could start a sample roleplay for him! <3

How experienced are you in roleplaying non-cats?: Well, pretty good I'd say. I've played dogs, horses, even... *drumroll* deer!
Roleplay example: Nani woke up in her bed. She shook her head werrily and ley it on her paws. She could hear a faint but demanding 'Get up!' in the distance. She raised her head and shook it again. "I'm too old for this," she yawned, standing on her creeking bones, and easing herself into a sitting position. She barked madly and told the dog to come in. It hesitated, and she growled. "You woke an old she-dog up, only to run away?" The dog shook its head no. "Then come in here and tell me what you want, before I run out there and slash you across the eye!" Sure, she couldn't run, but all that sleeping did let her claws grow out. And all that scratching made them nice and sharp...

Well, I'm speaking on my behalf, but I'd rather you had experience Squirrel. And Giddy, we shall get back to you when there are more auditions for Nani ^^ Plus, Brighty still needs to pick her other two dogs if she wants them.

Your main account if you have more than one: Well...I have Shadow Spirit and Wolfwings, but I was planning on making a 3rd account for a few more cats and maybe these dogs. I have 6 characters on each of these accounts already. ^^;
The dog you want: Yana
Roleplay example: The sable femme stretched herself idly. Things had been rather dull today and she was on edge, waiting for some trouble to arise. Tension was nothing new to her and Yana was feeling the air crackle, as though a fight was not far away. Flexing her toes to get the blood flowing, she stood right again and headed over to speak with her mate, Taru. He was sitting with their son, Kokori, chatting about the hunt no doubt. She came up behind him and prodded her mate's shaggy coat with her paw. "Budge up!" she barked at him. He turned his shaggy head to look at her and gave her a cocky smile, which she returned with a good-natured glare. Finally, he shifted and scooted over to give her room. Settling herself between her mate and son, she joined the conversation.
How experienced are you in roleplaying non-cats?: Actually I rp dogs all the time, wolves, horses, people...this site is the first time I ever role played cats. ^__^

How experienced are you in roleplaying non-cats?: Far more experienced than I am with cats, and - not meaning to brag - that's saying something. I've been writing for as long as I can remember, and I roleplayed foxes and wolves for about three years straight.
