The large dark hued feline moved slowly towards a fallen log, the wind passing smoothly across her silken fur that would match the night sky evenly in color. She cast a long look behind her, watching the swarm of mysterious black butterflies follow her little family. Her kits, her darling kits... The Secrets watched over them often, and watched them closely, though them seemed to hold more interest in her son, Dusk, than her daughter, Crane. Her amber gaze returned to the log in which she travelled to.
Now close enough, she jumped upon the rotting wood, and turned to face the direction her children came from, waiting for them to catch up to her in their play.
It seemed she would be a bad mother, leaving the side of her young kittens, but that was untrue. Simply so, she found that if anything was to happen to them, it was fate that desired it, and fate that caused it.
But not all her children were away from her side. A black and white butterfly, The Love, settled on the log next to her, beating it's thin wings. Though most would only see two of her children, the little family saw three... The black and white butterfly... Midnight's dead daughter, and Crane and Dusk's sister; and though she was still-born, that never ment she was truely dead, the Secrets that followed the family had assured that.
The coal colored she-cat watched, and waited. Waiting for her family, but watching more than just them.

The little white female bounded through the grass after her mother, sometimes batting up at the pretty white butterflies, sometimes looking for her brother. She reached her mom and bent to sniff at the little black and white butterfly, grinning.
"Hi, sister!" she giggled, and then tipped her head at her mother.
Where are we going? Somewhere new?" she skittered off to the side like a live wire, dodging something that was probably all in her head. Cautiously, she crept back to her mother's side and sat, now reserved, looking around the area. She was old enough to be an apprentice now, but was growing up wild and mostly untrained. But she didn't mind. It was nice, just living with her mom and her brother and the butterflies. She was a bit curious of the Clans though, and a bit terrified. [/center]
