Nightmares sat quietly near a stream she had located a good ways away from the Meadow.She bathed her white paws in the water,letting the coolness rush over her aching,hot paws.She made sure no one was around and flopped herself into the water.Letting the stream run calmly over her back and around her neck.She didn't fear water,she guess she inherited that from her ancient RiverClan ancestors.She swam down the stream a good ways,then hopped out,shaking her white pelt and slinging water off.
She stopped,crouching low her ears perked as she heard something rustle.She stalked towards the noise,putting all of the weight on her haunches like she was taught.
Darkness crouched in the bushes,planing on ambushing his mother to show her his skills.He paused watching the pale white she-cat creep towards him.He waited for her to get closer,and as she approached,he pounced out of the underbrush,hitting his mother with his weight and knocking her over.
Nightmares heard the other cat moving,and could tell it was a male,she reconized the stench as her son,and smirked.She let him hit her and knock her over,and she tackled him back,pinning him down.
Darkness was unprepared and was pinned,he grinned at his mother and mewed.
"Good re-bound attack,Mum."He smiled,jumping up and flicking his tail happily.
He froze thinking he heard something stirring.
