The blood toiled around his paws, and he looked up to see a dark face grinning at him, surrounded by a ring of laughter. His sister's face was let down, distraught, and not far from her was a group, their furious faces staring at him. 'Vengeance' was what they mouthed at him. He wanted to scream, to run, but his feet wouldn't move. Until something prodded his side.
He let out a jump to look around. They were by tall shrubs, eyes glowing in the moonlight above. He stared into the pale face of his sister, and her mismatched eyes looking at him worriedly. Her belly was large and nearly touching the ground standing. He nuzzled her face fondly before getting to his feet. "Come, sister, we must move on. We can't stay in the open like this; too many predators," He muttered, embarrassed. He must have shouted out into the night. Tail fidgeting, he moved on, parallel to the boundaries of a clan they knew not about. In fact, the wind blew towards them, shielding the scent of other cats from them.
"You say that as if I couldn't take care of myself," She snapped cooly back at him, following up so he was astride him. "Trouble is about, I know you sense it," She whispered more gently. "I wish us to get as far away as we could, Moonstrike. You know that," She said softly as the tom beside her tensed as she spoke of his past, reminding him too much of his dream. "Come, we must fine shelter," Was all she heard him say. She shrugged, trying as hard as she could to catch up in the silent night. All's they could hear was crickets chirping cheerfully into the night.
They couldn't hear the sound of approaching footsteps or the scent just tail lengths to them.

((Is it okay if Jay wanders upon them? Tell me if it isn't and I'll just delete my post.)) Face into the wind, the long-haired tom paused for a moment. Ugh, this wind. It didn't help when one was like one giant windsock to be blown this way and that. What he'd do for short hair, on occasion.
He sniffed the air, more out of habit than anything, and his tail flicked up. He smelled other cats. That was a new one. He hadn't seen any new cats around in a long time. Resigning himself to the wind, he walked towards the scent.
Jaysong paused as he came upon the two cats. They were out here well away from the best of wind shelters, at the border with who knew how many Boneclanners running amok waiting to pounce the unsuspecting. Well, Jay couldn't let /that/ go. He padded alongside them on the Stealthclan side of the border, just behind them. Eventually he veered to cross their path.
"'Scuse me, but you guys look a bit lost." ((Finished!))

A pair of burning amber eyes watched his clan mate venture towards two rogues, newcomers to Stealthclan lands. The large tom, now fully grown into his full size as adulthood was attained, moons ago, watched then from the large rock the leaned almost haphazardly on the borders of his clan’s territory.
Silence.
He had been seated there the entire time, having been out patrolling alone beforehand. However, at the moment of voices the young leader had leapt on the rock.
And waited.
Sunsetfire doubted that he had been noticed. Not yet, in any case, but the wind was not blowing his scent towards the three, nor was he making a sound. There was a watchfulness to the pure gold tom, his tail tip, splashed with white, flicking only once.

"There you are!" Said a dark she, bounding towards them just as a tom emerged and spoke to the siblings.
"Inkstone!" He said, whirling around in panic, and then spinning back around to face Jaysong, lost for words to either of them. His heart pounded in shock; he couldn't tell from what, though: That Inkstone, his sister's best friend had arrived here, or that he had just been approached suddenly by a stranger. A cat, nonetheless. He stepped forward to Jaysong, deciding on talking to him so his sister could take care of Inkstone. "We.. We are a bit lost, but we have no idea where we are or where we're even going.." She gave a nervous chuckle.
"Inkstone, what are you doing here...?" Starstrike hissed, eyes wide, as soon as her brother excused her to confront her old friend. As happy as she was to see her, the cost of being found by their old clan was death. She and her brother were already risking it by escaping untold.
The she-cat called Inkstone blinked as she quirked her head, obviously not paying attention to her. Something gold, something bright, had caught her eye from beneath the thistle. but she didn't need scent to tell her where the leader was, but she elected not to say anything. She gave a sigh and turned to look at her friend, eyes wide with concern. "Starstrike, you know it's dangerous to be away from the old clan," She murmured quietly. "And with your condition. You know I wouldn't live my life without seeing them!" She exclaimed happily.
[Figure might as well throw Inkstone in there. I'll have her bio within the next few days , and her own account. But for the most part, she's Starstrikes's best friend and she's perky and bubbly. ^^ Always gotta love them! Hope you don't mind, Umbeeeeee <333 ]

Jay smiled kindly at the nervous tom. He tilted his head to the side for a moment, as if thinking what to say. More he was observing the two she-cats for a moment. Then he looked back to the tom.
"You're on the Stealthclan borders. We call this whole place Rogue valley. There are three clans here- Steath, Rising, and Bone... try to keep away from Boneclan. They're not very nice. There's four other clans, too, in this bigger valley type area... thing. Tree, Mist, Stone, and Dusk," he said, giving the lost tom a quick rundown of things. If he wanted to know where he was, well, Jaysong could definitely tell him that. And probably more, because Jaysong was a chatty cat.
"And Stealthclan's led by Sunsetfire. He's probably around here somewhere, if you'd want to stick around for awhile, you could probably talk to him... or you're welcome to move on," he added. Then he stopped, giving the other a chance to respond, his eyes flicking between the three other cats. He stayed very carefully on his side of the border. It was like he thought stepping over them was taboo or something. He'd do it only in an emergency, such as chasing certain mute youngsters all across Starclan's creation.
He grinned a little. Ah, but he was fond of this whole clan. He'd have followed any one of them anywhere, without a moment's hesitation.

The wind was blowing hard, again. Just like the time when the mostly-black tom with ice-blue eyes had first met Sunsetfire and became a StealthClanner. By StarClan, that was an odd encounter, being blown as an undersized kit into two others who were sheltering. Interesting experience, though.
Sparrowpaw padded silently over to stand next to Jaysong, faring slightly better than the older tom, what with his short fur that didn't decide to obstruct his vision in the wind. Noticing the small grin on his friend's muzzle, he shuffled a bit in slight guilt as he was reminded of how the blue-gray tom had been trying to find him while he had wandered off into BoneClan to satisfy his curiousity. He dipped his head in greeting to his fellow clanmate as well as the seemingly-lost trio of cats, and would have greeted his hidden leader as well if it hadn't occured to him that perhaps the golden tom was hidden for a reason.

He turned as Sparrowpaw approached, and smiled at the younger tom. Had the other figured what Jay had been thinking? He did look a little embarassed.
"Hey, Sparrowpaw. Everything goin' okay?" he asked.

Looking back at the older tom, Sparrowpaw nodded. Of course everything was okay, save the fact that little bramble tears in him were stinging. He winced slightly. Last time he'd go into enemy territory to see what it was like.
Twitching his ears, Sparrowpaw looked over at the new, unknown cats. So they were lost, were they? He glanced at them, then at the direction of the StealthClan camp, and then back at Jaysong again as he tilted his head with questioning eyes. Would StealthClan have a few new members by the end of today?

It took just a few heartbeats to register what Jaysong had said, and he grinned gratefully up at him. He'd heard of Treeclan, Mistclan, Stoneclan, and Duskclan. There were rumors of a Risingclan, Boneclan, and Stealthclan about his old clan. But they were tails told by the battle-worn and irritable elders, he didn't actually believe them.
Perhaps my sister, and now I suppose Inkstone could lodge with you? She is due in hardly a moon, and she needs a place to stay, to heal, if not possibly have her kits.
D'you think that would be too much of a burden? He asked kindly, inclining his head to the side to stare through the dark at the tom whom spoke to them. [And the others are.. Standing around chatting about the weather, I suppose. ]

Jay tilted his head to the side for a moment, thinking. He glanced for a second at Sparrowpaw, and grinned at the somewhat obvious question from the younger tom. Then he looked back at the lost tom.
"You'd have to ask Sunsetfire, but he should be somewhere near-abouts. And he usually doesn't say no unless there's a really good reason. We just have to find him..." he replied, and then looked at Sparrowpaw.
"Er, do you know where he is? And could you stay while I run find him?" he asked, still unaware as to his leader's presence well within yelling distance.
