My Therapist said I present Dangerous Thrill-Seeking Behavior.
Of course, my Therapist is the fat black and white cat who lives at the local Asylum.
The one in the city I used to live in. It's not local anymore.
A young tortoishell tom jogged readily into BoneClan territory, his ears up and alert, his blue-green eyes wide...but not with fear. With anticipation. Going into BoneClan land -with no intention of joining- was beyond risky. Which was exactly why the city-born adrenaline junkie was doing it.
I do not ph34r.
Adventure for adventure's sake was Flux's game. That, and l33t sk1llz. He could not fight offensively, but he used to get into brawls back home, and he had very good defense capibilities. And he was quite the escapist; because of his risktaking nature, he would often get tailtip-deep into trouble, and he got very good at struggling out of it intact. He would need all the skillz he could dredge up to survive the dangers of this new world.

"Who are you?"
Her sweet voice carried across the field to the strange calico tom, and she stood regally in the mist.
It was indeed a foggy day; the air was damp and if the clouds condensed any more, there would be a threat of rain. Darkangel's emerald eyes lay on Flux suspiciously; this was Bane and her land. Her father, Bane. She leaped onto a rock, closer to the l33t-speaking tomcat.
"Why are you on BoneClan land?"
Of course, everyone should fear BoneClan. Bane was the most powerful cat in the entire valley, and Darkangel was the heiress to the Dark King's throne. Her tail flicked and the gold markings running along her sides seemed to ripple like magic. She glided off of the rock, even closer to Flux, claws unsheathing and teeth glistening in the glim and faded sunlight. Indeed it was faded; the mist covered it and seemed to make the entire world a haze.
She wasn't exactly interested in why this cat was on her and her father's land, more whether he would stay or try to escape. Of course, she followed her father's 'guidelines' - none who entered BoneClan land would leave alive if they didn't join their ranks.
Darkangel cantered toward Flux, moving even closer, and soon she stood only tail-lengths away from him. Ah, another border patrol, but this was his first time really recruiting a new BoneClan warrior. She sighed, and looked the tom up and down. Eh...strong, good build...he would make a good warrior, perhaps. He would at least help BoneClan take down RisingClan and their little friends.

Flux looked fearlessly up at the princess of BoneClan. He was not evil enough or violent enough to be a potentiol BoneClanner even if he had wanted to be, but if he had anything going for him at all, it was his seamless bravery.
After all, those who are l33t do not ph34r.
The young tomcat stood in a dip in the earth, and was, as a result, less than level with Darkangel's face. It was a bad place to be, should she decide to attack.
"J0," he meowed. "I hear you're dangerous."

This cat, he was strange. A small smirk curved those poisoned lips.
"Oh yes, we're dangerous."
She looked down at the l33t-speaking tom, and the smirk was gone. 'J0.' Oh, if this idiot did decide to join, he'd be getting a beating from all of the BoneClanners. This would annoy them all so much. Well, if this cat didn't fear them and didn't join their ranks, he'd have reason to fear them. He'd be dead, and once he was dead he'd fear them. StarClan was for soft little kittypets.
"Join our ranks or die."
She said simply. Her emerald eyes were stone cold and there was a pretty little frown on her pretty little face. It was really quite plain; she'd kill this cat herself if he chose to try to escape the territory of BoneClan. Her maw would be stained with Flux's blood; his fur would be clumped between her hooked claws. Darkangel sighed. This cat would have to choose fast or she'd kill him now, even if he did choose to join - too late, of course.

Flux ignored her. "They say your Clan is evil."
Oh yes, this cat was dangerous. He could tell by her tone, and the glint of her unsheathed claws on the dark earth.
He had taken a bold stance in his patch of sunken earth. "I refuse to submit to your 3vil will!" he said defiantly, his bluegreen eyes serious. But beneath that, there was a faint grin on his young face. This was exciting; this was fun, an encounter with a hostile and dangerous cat.
"Subjecting the brainwashed masses to your 3vil rule...a Clan of zombies." he muttered, his voice too low for the dark she-cat to hear. [ that 'zombies' line is mainly Kest honoring one of her favorite mangas xD I almost wanted Flux to be obsessed with zombies and fighting evil as well, but that'd be copying xD ]

A plump--quite plump, really--black and white tom ran after Flux, panting. He heaved himself forward with great effort. "Flux!" he panted as he caught up to the calico tom. "Flux, I've been looking all over for you!" He sat, breathing heavily--he was in such bad shape that running for over a few tail-lengths wore him out. Dimewhisker gave one last huge sigh, and then glanced up at both cats. Crazy, l33t-speaking Flux...and a lean, harsh she-cat. She looked strong, and her emerald eyes were cold. She had the ability to kill both cats.
"Oh," he mewed nervously. "Uh--er, hello!" Dimewhisker wiggled around and got comfortable in the little dip in the earth that he sat in. He looked around. "Eh, lovely day, don't you two...think...?" It was quite an awkward situation, really--a fat tom sitting there trying to make small talk, while a black she-cat had just threatened to kill the calico l33t-speaker.
Usually Dimewhisker was quite comfortable in any situation; he had a sarcastic sense of humour, but that sarcasm wasn't daring to show itself today in the midst of the well-trained killer. He leaned over to Flux slowly, and opened the corner of his mouth. "Don't you think we should leave?" he growled, wanting to leave this place with the she-cat. And he'd heard of things called Clans, and if she was of a Clan, it would be full of cats just like her. But Flux challenged Darkangel and Dimewhisker squeaked. She would surely kill them! "FLUX!"

Darkangel snarled at this fat old tomcat, her hackles rising. She glanced from Flux to Dimewhisker and back. Ah, they seemed to know each other--perfect. If they didn't join, she'd get to kill two poor unfortunate souls. She gave out a low growl then forced herself to flatten the fur on her shoulders.
"What are two...complete idiots...doing out in the wild?"
A sneer crossed her pretty face.
"It's dangerous, don'tcha know."
Darkangel's tail flicked. This could be entertaining, it could. Her whiskers twitched at Dimewhisker's horrendous stench--a kittypet, or something like that. He'd been around Twolegs, that's for sure, and she hated that smell. She smelled that odor on Flux, also, and she spat. It really was a disgusting smell. The Heiress sat and curled her tail around her dainty paws, glancing down. Those golden streaks were Honeymist. The part of her still alive in Darkangel.
That weak femme; Darkangel wanted her to be completely gone. For everything left of her to be gone; for her own fur to be completely black just like her magnificent father's. For Sunsetfire to go down, and Fallingsky fall with him. She snarled at the memory of her mother, but the smirk returned when she remembered her first kill. Her first kill...she'd murdered her own mother. And oh, was it worth it. Had Honeymist still been alive, Darkangel would have to...well, she would still be alive, and that would be annoying.

"Now, di'nt the princ'ss make it clear t'ya that you decide to join us now, or die runnin'?" Rasped the muddy-brown tom, his snaggle tooth showing dangerously upon his lips.
... Sharpfang, the Boneclan deputy. Though Darkangel was the heiress of The Lord's throne, he respected her. Not only was she the dark King's kin, she shocked Sharpfang by how alike she and her father were. And, of course, Sharpfang was faithful beyond comprehension to the Dark Lord, why shouldn't he be the same for his daughter?
"And do makit easier on 'er, it's migh' hot out in thi' desert. We woud'n want 'er to catch something.. Nasty," He rasped serenely, giving a forceful cough. Not a dozen baths could clean the muddy and bloody stains from his pelt, and though unattractive as he was, he could kick one's ass over the Mistclan waterfall if Bane asked him to.
"Good eve' Missus," He greeted politely, finally turning to look at the onyx and gold heiress. He turned his gold gaze upon the two-kittypets. By the expression she was currently making, she was thinking the same thing he was; They smelt horrid. Kitty-pet indeed.

[ eh, even though Flux lived with a twoleg for a time, he wandered the city even then, and he's not likely to smell like a kittypet. or look like one. he's strong, and if anything, he'd smell more like the cages he was kept in when he was sent to the humane society against his will, and, more recently, the forest he's spent a few days in. ]Flux bared his teeth, twitched his tail, and...laughed.
"J00 are blinded by your arrogance," he bawled up at the pair, fearless and bold. Inside, he felt alight with excitement; a hot ball of energy, bundled together with the thrill of taunting a dangerous cat in such a dark and forlorn place. Thrill. Risk. Flux.
"I will not b0w d0wn to t3h 3vil!" He declared, lashing his tail, twitching slightly.

Dimewhisker was now breathing heavily, and tried to hide behind the younger and slimmer Flux - only his face was really covered; his ear and body and fluffed up tail still showed. "Flux," he growled, eyes wide in fear. "Don't you think we should just...give in? I don't wanna die!" He peered around the l33t-speaking tom to Darkangel and Sharpfang, then shrank back in fear. They were much more fit than himself.
The therapist began to 'show himself' again, and dipped his head in complete respect and fear to the BoneClanners. "Terribly sorry to have caused any trouble, my friend - client - tom - er, wandered away, and I..." He blabbered on for a while, not exactly realizing how boring he could be when he was a afraid. He finally stopped, however, to look into the eyes of both BoneClan cats. The femme looked disgusted and bored.

Flux did not look back. "STFU, Shrink," he admonished, not totally unkindly. He kept his blue-green eyes on his newfound enemies, his tail lashing wildly, his fur rising along his tortoishelled spine. Excitement flashed through him, transfixed him; his heart was racing, and he could very well die at any time. So cool.
His bright excitement brought the world into clearer focus. Everything seemed sharper and slower. He was keyed-up and ready for anything. It was the best feeling ever. This was what he loved, the adrenaline rush of these dangerous situations.
"You're playing badly," he mumbled, aiming his softly-spoken words at Dimewhisker, who was currently cowering behind him.
Flux awaited the dark princess to make her move. He was not worried about the mangy, patchy tom; he looked in too ill of health to pose a threat.[/url]

She nodded politely and kindly to Sharpfang - or, as kindly as a BoneClan cat could. But then she turned back to Flux. Indeed, Darkangel was disgusted and bored. She sighed, her sharp teeth showing in a snarl, and her neck and shoulder fur bristled. Her emerald eyes narrowed in hostility. She stepped forward angrily, so that her muzzle was only a mouselength away from this annoying Flux's.
"Shut up or die now. We outnumber you, as I don't think that fatty will want to fight."
Her black and golden tail lashed frustratedly. The fog was becoming dark clouds, and thunder rolled far away. A flash of lightning caught her eye; it was faint and as far as the thunder. Another 'bang' of thunder. Darkangel growled suddenly and leaped at Flux, hoping to catch him unawares.
She attempted a few swipes at his throat, long hooked claws unsheathed. Darkangel's neck fur was almost tilting the opposite direction it was supposed to, as she was quite annoyed and angry. Rain began to fall on her sleek pelt, but she didn't notice. It was just a bit of water; Darkangel wasn't afraid of that. She tried to claw at his ear frustratedly.

Darkangel's sudden lunge had indeed suprised the tortoiseshell tom, but he reacted almost automatically. Flux flipped backward, twisting halfway around to avoid the she-cat's claws.
Miraculously, those practiced talons scored only superficial lines across his chest and shoulder. He did not so much as feel the sting, though that might have been because of his adrenaline high.
His reaching back paws encountered hard earth; Flux lashed out with his front paws and barely caught his balance, half-falling over on his side. Now he stood unevenly at the rim of the shallow hole in which he had just stood, looking down at Darkangel. Blood dripped lightly bown his chest.
