Bluerage slipped from camp, the darkness fading on her pelt. She wended her way around the desert brush and bracken, her fluffy tail held high, sage eyes shining in the minutes just before the sun rose. Her whiskers twitched quietly as she made her way to the top of a large slab of rock, her tail softly swinging over the edge as she caught her balance with keen precision, her long hair dancing around her in the cool breeze.
She was pretty, but subtly so. It appeared Crisp had noticed it, and now she had a mate. Oh how charming he was... And the death, at the gathering.. Her thoughts continued like this as the sun rose, shining a golden color on her blue-grey fur. Her pupils turned to slits to adjust to the bright colors, the sky bruising with soft pastel colors. Oh how she loved it at this time of day.

Crisp followed, his somewhat long legs taking him far until he caught up with his prettypretty mate Bluerage. "Goood morning," he purred softly in her ear. See, the sunrise was not why he came out here; he came out here for Bluerage. The sunrise was not the most beautiful thing out here; in Crisp's opinion it was the blue-gray she-cat standing before him. "Come to get away from the Clan, eh?" Crisp sighed; there were so many cats in RisingClan now, it was hard to find his own nest in the warriors den. It was, of course, beside Bluerage's now; he just looked for her scent.
Crisp jumped onto the rock and sat right beside his mate, giving her ear a lick. "Beautiful," he murmured into her fur. Was he talking about the sunrise, or Bluerage? Even he didn't know. He suddenly flicked his ears, trying to keep himself awake. He hadn't really gotten much sleep last night; everything was so cramped in the warriors den.

Had she really thought Crisp would stay in camp while she wandered? Of course not. He was like a faithful puppy, following her footsteps. Of course, Bluerage never minded of course. She was glad for the company.
"The clan is indeed getting rather large, but I came here for the Sunrise," She said musingly, leaning on his shoulder, her tail entwining with his. "It is quite beautiful.." She said softly, watching the colors fade or darken depending on which side it was on the spectrum.
True that, she too was having a hard time finding a place with the warriors den, unless Crisp was there she would also simply follow his scent and curl up next to him.
The assasin had not slept for a couple days, but she showed no signs of weariness or lack of sleep. In fact, as her eyes sparked in the rising sun, she looked quite awake and proud, ears flicked forward, chest fur fluffed out in the true manner of a wild cat.

Since Crisp had come to RisingClan, he had changed - both in appearance and in personality. He was still just as charming, but less of a 'player'. He'd settled down with Bluerage, now, and he was looking forward to having a family. He now didn't run away from fights; he was no longer a coward. He understood the rules Kestrel and the rest of RisingClan lived under.
He'd also become scruffier, but not in a mangey looking way. He had a few more scars, from encounters with different rogues, but that was the way of the Clan cat - er, rogue Clan cat. He nuzzled Bluerage. "It is quite beautiful." He smiled. "Yes, yes you are," he purred. Crisp twined his tail tighter then before and rested his chin on the top of her head.

Bluerage laughed at his comment. She was talking about the sunset of course. Though she knew she wasn't ugly, she never took into consideration that she was ever beautiful. She inclined her head, looking directly at the horizon. She had also changed in a short amount of time. Where she was once rather haggard and scruffy, she had more of a docile appearance, and her fur was constantly groomed to appear so for her mate. Her personality, once bitter and cold to anybody, hardly opening herself up to anybody, was now more social and kind. Her assasin threads still flooded through her veins, but now she wasn't ready to attack anything that moved along her path.
Her change was probably for the better, especially for Crisp, for she had once believed she could never love.

He chuckled with her.
Crisp too had changed for the better for his mate; but I believe I've already spoken about this, yes? "So, Bluerage dearest," he purred. "How are you? Anything special planned for today?" He stood, stretched, then sat back down, closer than before to Bluerage. He nuzzled her cheek, purring.

Bluerage inclined her head and gave a playful grin. "Oh yes, i've planned plent for this wonderful day with you," She said, her voice dripping with sarcasm. Of course, her face still wore a playful expression of mock irritation, but a smile got the best of her. She gave a gentle purr, her tail flicking from under his.
"I suppose life will just fold itself out at our paws then, if we have nothing planned?" She asked pleasantly with a chuckle, her ears tilting forward and her whiskers twitching to show a row of pearly ivory teeth in a smile.

"Oh really?" he purred sarcastically when Bluerage made her sarcastic remark. "I suppose life will just fold itself out at our paws then, if we have nothing planned?" He smiled. "Hm, yes, I suppose it will," he murmured, resting his muzzle on her head. He licked the top of her head, purring.
"Well, I sure hope this day is exciting, dearie," he purred.
