Silence.
Silence all about her, coiling and flicking and so so terribly cold.
Silence tearing a path through the young apprentice’s heart, ripping and rendering until there was nothing left.
…nothing left.
Her paws traveled on, by their own accord, as her mind wandered. Where was she going?
The pretty young she-cat looked around, her blue hues finally remembering where she was. Her home. Risingclan.
Visibly wavering, she finally sat down in the middle of that terrible place, almost the exact spot where Hannibal had stolen her from, blue hues, once so lively, so young, casting over the area with an air of terror.

The tawny and white she padded out of the camp, having had nothing to do while there. All the other kits had left for training or something or the other. She sighed. She had come here hoping for friends, but so far it was rather lonely. Even her brother seemed distant towards her, even when he was around. Where was he, anyways?
But a scent had caught her nose and tugged her head in the direction of a young she-kit, not much older than herself. Soulless, that's who she was.
Rumors had reached her ear that she had come from that distant land beyond their borders. She padded up beside Soulless, eyes gazing out keenly over the lands. She was quiet, her walk soft. Perhaps if anybody who knew Amberstar would probably recognize the same agile step and grace, that had travelled to her daughter. And the same long silky hair, and the same shade of amber...
She gazed out over the lands, sitting beside the she-cat quietly.
"Do you ever wish of going back to Boneclan...?" She asked kindly, looking over at a potential friend. "Because it would be mighty lonely without you, here. Everybody seems fond of you.... They pay attention to you." She smiled.
Quite the opposite of me... she wanted to add, but she was modest like that. No need to bring attention to herself when it was not deserved.
"I'm Coppersong, by the way," She added, remembering that the she-cat probably didn't know her. Kestrel hadn't exactly announced their arrival to everyone. But she seemed to know something they didn't... Perhaps she could ask her later.

Shatter.
The young apprentice seemed torn from her thoughts, glancing at the other cat and looking quite startled.
“H…hello.”
The small gray and white she-cat crouched down, low, watching the other warily for a long, long moment.
Was she sent by…by him?
No.
This other; she scented of Risingclan. A fellow clan mate.
But still….
That haunted blue gaze lifted, looking out across the desolate area before her. There was still such a void in that breath-taking gaze, an emptiness that had yet to be healed.
“Never. This is my home. No place else could ever be.”
Oh. A name.
Coppersong.
It was a pretty name, so different then the one the cannibal’s daughter would always carry.
“I’m Soulless.”

"So dismal, yet so full of wonder and hope. I like it, Soulless, your name.." She said softly with a reassuring smile. She had no enemies... She didn't know what it was like to hate, with exceptions to the one who had abandoned her without a cause known to her knowledge.
"I am glad, that you are here. It is nice to know you," Said the amber-copper and white she-cat. "Perhaps it is good that you know where your parents are, at least to some extent. You know who they are if you wanted to hate them, or blame them, or even love them." She cast a sorrowful gaze, but yet it was recovered with a smile, a true to heart one.
It meant something to Coppersong. "My brother is all I have left, but you have many. You have many that love you in this clan, there is no need to feel ashamed or hurt or different," murmured Coppersong, almost as if reading the young she's troubles.
She looked away, a calm smile on her face now. "I came from a different clan, but nobody blames me for troubles. Nobody should do the same for you..."
