She was about to open her mouth and say something else, something about the food and how she hoped he was hungry, but all of a sudden words came flooding out of his mouth, and her mouth shut instantly, and her eyes opened wide. Suddenly, she narrowed them pleasantly and smiled. It wasn't an evil smile or one that gave away disgust, but pure and honest.
"No... I'd never be angry with you," She said softly, and inclined her head and licked him between the ears. "Funny how things work out sometimes. Funny how I like you too!!
And what's even funnier is that I thought you were scared of me," She said lightly, with a deep chuckle, ignoring any stares from the rest of the clan they may receive, or even distant peals of laughter that may echo over Rogue Meadow from the other clans. All's that she saw now was Crisp's shy face.

Koinaka gotoku fuyu
Kanji definately heard; but her ears were sharper than most. She was, after all, blind.
She chuckled fondly to herself. Imada nen wakai mi taishi te za hodo naku, moshikasuruto, she thought, turning away. Those two were so cute, no?
And speaking of cute... Kanji, though blind, was an able nursery-helper, and with so many kits in the den now, she was needed. She padded carefully along the ledge, up the cliff, and vanished into the nursery.

Kanashimi heard, too, but not as well as Kanji did. She had almost forgotten that her friend was blind; the two never spoke of it. Though Kanashimi couldn't hear Kanji's thoughts, it was as if she had, because she echoed them with speech.
"Sorerahatotemokawairashiidesu," she mewed, glancing at the 'couple' and smiling. She followed the other nursery hand into the nursing den and, with one last quick glance at Crisp and Bluerage, vanished into the den.

Crisp dragged his gaze back to Bluerage's silver orbs and smiled, delighted at the words she spoke. She liked him back! She really did...and now it was all out in the open! They could even have kits...he purred as she licked him between the ears, and he returned the lick. As he leaned back a bit, his amber eyes softened when they met her silvery gaze.
"Me?" he mused, whiskers twitching with amusement. "Afraid of you? All I was afraid of was talking to you!" He twitched his tail and smiled.

Bluerage cast her gaze around the camps. Well, it appeared they approved it. Even if they hadn't it wouldn't stop her from liking Crisp. She gave a laugh, eyes shining when she opened them up again.
"Because i'm so hard to talk to," She said with touch of sarcasm, but she was playful, if not flirtatious. "My speech is more intimidating than my claws or fangs," She said with a laugh, flicking him with her tail softly, just so softly.
She nudged the bird forward. "Dine with me. We'll have the camp almost all to ourselves!" She said, turning to look around for the preperations of Risingclan's first meeting.
Shame she wasn't coming, but Bluerage would rather spend her night with Crisp than be in a sea of a midst of strangers.

Crisp purred his gratitude; he hadn't eaten since yesterday, even with the hunting trip he, Bluerage, Darkwhisker, Graystorm and Bete had been on. He leaned in to take a bite of the ptarmigan, then after a couple of famished gulps, he pushed the bird towards Bluerage. When she had taken a few bites, he'd take some more and then she would and so on. Crisp suddenly realized that, now that they had revealed their feelings for each other, he felt like they had nothing to talk about.
"Do you think our apprentices will feel strange around us?" he asked suddenly. He at least knew Graystorm well enough that he was not exactly a quiet young tom, and he'd be the first to voice how he and his sister Darkwhisker felt. He flicked his tail as he crouched down at the ptarmigan's body and he lifted his amber gaze to her silver.

Bluerage quietly ate at the ptarmigan, taking a moment to contemplate, chew, and swallow, going through the process once more before nudging it back to him and licking away some of the blood that matted her silver muzzle, still hungry for more.
"I believe that Graystorm shall be the first to say anything about it with his temperament and personality. However, he is young and may poke fun, I don't believe he shall feel uncomfortable.
.. As for Darkwhisker, I feel she will be less prone to feel anything towards this relationship, or say anything about it if she does. If I believe it will cause her problems, I shall speak to her in private about it with the hopes she will be honest about it," She commented, pulling one of the field mice by the tails towards her and taking a small nibble on the haunch before nosing it towards Crisp.

The handsome black tomcat's amber eyes glistened with adoration. He was with the femme he loved, and she knew how he felt. As she nudged the ptarmigan towards him, then the mouse, he purred and took a bite from each. As he swallowed the nibble of mouse, he nudged both towards his 'new mate' and smiled. His ear flicked comfortably, and his tail twitched as he met Bluerage's silver gaze.
"Yes," he meowed, a chuckle running smoothly along with the soft mew. "Graystorm is quite open about his opinions." Another thought crossed his mind, but, in spite of being scared of making Bluerage angry, he asked anyway. "What do you think they'd do if we had..." He paused, shuffling uncomfortably. "If we had kits?"

She took both from her new mate and finished off the ptarmigan, pulling the mouse toward her and taking a small bite out of it. She was so happy to be with him, to love him and have him near her, her eyes shining brightly in the dimming sunset.
And then he said something, and the slip of mouse was flung to the back of her throat, causing her to gag, but she recovered quickly, looking at him with wide eyes, almost embarrassed.
Perhaps she wasn't expecting him to want kits so soon, but she was good with young ones. She'd always wanted kits.
"I.. I don't know how they would take that. I don't think they would have anything to say about it. I believe that is where they would draw the line," She said with a nod, flattening her fur from the shock of her choking. She licked her lips, staring at the half-eaten prey warily as if threatening to jump down her throat again and she looked up, not really angry, but curious.
Was that what he wanted her for? For kits? Bluerage immediatly threw the idea aside. It had fallen into place the eyes that gazed at her with a glazed look and the jumpy attitude everytime she looked or spoke to him.
Perhaps he had simply noticed her way with kits, and her want for them. She always had wanted them. Now was her chance.

He jumped to his paws as Bluerage choked and spluttered, also quite startled. "I didn't mean...I only meant," he stammered, hoping she didn't think he was being rude. As she calmed down, he leaned down to give her a lick between her ears and then lay back down with his paws tucked neatly under his chest.
Crisp listened to Bluerage, staring at the ground as if StarClan were gathering and they were the size of ants. Her voice soothed him. He nodded as she finished speaking. And then a thought crossed his mind, one that made him quite happy - any kit of Bluerage's would be beautiful.
"Of course, if we ever have kits, it won't be for a while now," he purred. He wanted kits as much as Bluerage did, but he wanted to take it slow; he wasn't quite ready to be a father just yet. He said 'if' because he didn't want to sound like he wanted them then and there, but he knew it would be a 'when' - he just didn't articulate that part.

zetsubou kara no hajimari te ni shlta kara ;;
Night had fallen. Three stars winked faintly in the sky, but very soon they would brighten, and the rest would appear. A full moon had risen high enough to wash the camp in purest silver light.
Kestrel padded quietly from her den, her mismatched eyes flashing. She made no sound; she was the barest shadow against the rock as she leaped upwards.
The top of the Boulder looked carved from diamond. Kestrel made a sharp black shadow across the camp as she stood upon it, her tail waving slightly more quickly than usual. There was no need to call loudly; more than likely, her presence had alerted the cats in camp.
"It is time for us to go. I know the camp will be well-guarded in my absence." She spoke softly, but her voice carried through the camp.
"Let's go."
She dropped down gracefully and made her way toward the entrance, her white and gray form swallowed up by the darkness there as she left camp.

She she-cat closed her eyes pleasantly to enjoy the affectionate gesture before getting to her feet and laying down at his side, leaning into his haunch slowly. She cast her eyes upon the leader, no emotion showing in her stoic silver depths, her eyes and ears suddenly sharpening as they were led out of camp. Now their vigil started, but it still didn't keep the pretty assasin from speaking to her new mate.
It comforted her as he said they'd wait a while. She wanted her apprentice to grow, at least some more, before she allowed any kits into her belly. She didn't want to make the young apprentice to feel unwanted, or get jealous.
She rubbed her forehead into his shoulderblade. "I know.. I want kits. Do not feel embarrassed about something so wonderful."

"Me too," Crisp whispered. He wanted kits...almost more than he was loyal to RisingClan. His amber eyes gleamed as she rose and lay down again at his side. "Now...to get cats to work!" He stood, drawing his gaze over the entire camp. "We should have some cats guarding, of course," he meowed, almost to himself. He waved his tail, turned around and smiled at Bluerage, then trotted down to the centre of the camp.

Bluerage looked a bit forlorn as he got up as she layed down beside him, but sprang up suddenly. Right, she had a job to do! She couldn't just sit there making google-eyes at her mate!
"Cats of Risingclan! Report to me so that I may assign you jobs to protect camp until Kestrel returns!!" She yowled into the dimming night. She hated giving orders since she was normally one to watch from the sidelines, but when time was like this, who knows what Boneclan was planning??

"Right," he purred, rubbing his cheek against hers. "Burningflower, Rumba, Life and Soulless shall go out to hunt. RisingClan needs all the food it can get." He turned to Bluerage, waiting for her to make the next order. They were a team; deputies for the time being, until the Gathering group returned. His tail flicked and his amber eyes were warm. "Who else should do what else?" he meowed softly, ears twitching.

Bluerage looked up, ears twitching as she sat.. Listened.. "They should be coming back soon," She spoke finally after several moments of silence, and she lifted her nose to the sky and took a deep breath. "Yes, that should be them.. But.. There is something else. Grief... And Anger..." She stated softly, almost sadly. She hoped to Starclan it was not of Risingclan.
She was tempted to run to greet them, but it was their duty to stay in camp. Either way. "Why do none of these great oafs do nothing...? We are in charge, and they are not doing anything.." She growled, tail twitching in irritation. Soft-hearted though Bluerage was upon decision, she was not one to like to be disobeyed when she herself was given a leadership command. Permanent or not...[/sub]

Crisp purred, and nuzzled Bluerage. But she was right; there was sorrow in the air. He stood, concerned. A death on this sacred Gathering night? He smelled the air and blinked. The black tom sighed and lay back down beside the pretty blue she-cat; he couldn't tell what had happened exactly, but it was something horrible.
"What's happened?" he yowled out into the night, awaiting an answer from Kestrel...Chasm...some one!
