The field rippled like the wind over the tameless sea. A young cat sifted with it like foam. His dark brown tail dragged behind him at the same level as his spine. His blue eyes were shining with confidence, even though he was almost blown away by the powerful winds.

"Hello!" Sealpaw called, sitting his rump down on the long grass. The young Birman tom's smile was plastered to his face as he waited for a response.

[Kestrel]

Kestrel navigated the long grass of her homeland with grace. She knew this land and loved it; the sigh of the wind in the long grass and the shifting noise of blades of grass on fur.
The wind battered Kestrel, but she faced it boldly.

A voice came to her, bourne on the wind. She turned and darted away, flying through the grass like a fish flies through the sea, parting the long grass. "Hello!" she howled back.
She slowed, sensing she was nearing the newcomer.

The white and gray she-cat stepped smoothly from the grass, elegant and authoritive, a leader for sure. She turned her sharp mismatched gaze on the young cat.
"What business have youn here?" she asked evenly.

Sealpaw started. A new, seemingly friendly face! The older she-cat's mismatched eyes startled the young Birman tom. He responded with a chirp of greeting.

"I'm just wandering," Sealpaw meowed, his eyes growing deeper with concern. Had he trespassed on her land?

[Kestrel]

zetsubou kara no hajimari te ni shlta kara ;;


Kestrel tilted her head. "You stand now on RisingClan land. To where are you wandering?"

"You know..." Sealpaw meowed, smiling a bit and gazing to the clouds passing lazily by. "You know, I don't know?" He trotted in a circle around the RisingClan she-cat, then sat in front of her again.

Kestrel chuckled softly. "You must have some kind of goal....?" She trailed off questioningly, watching the young tom. The rise in her tone played the standard que; what she meant was, What is your name?
