By the borders

Goldenpaw took a deep breath and looked around irritably. He'd been looking for the Duskclan borders for hours now, and his paws were starting to hurt. He shook his long fur of the pestering knats and flys, his fur showering in a downpour around his frame in a cascade of orange-white peltage. His green eyes gleamed pleasantly as his nose caught scent of something.. A cat. By the strong dignified air to it, he was certain it was of the Duskclan.

Goldenpaw peered curiously through the deep golden stalks of grass flowing with the waves of wind playing through the field. He let out a deep growl, starting from the depths of his belly and echoing slowly through the distant and quiet field. He wanted to make his appearance a glorious one, after all.

A mocking smile played across Sabrestar's black lips, icey-blue eyes shining like headlights from the darkness of the trees high above Goldenpaw. There was a rush of wind, so sudden that an unsteady cat would have fallen on his face.

"State your name and business."

The words left her lips before she even landed. The small, lithe frame of the Duskclan leader was silhoutted by the mid-morn sun, pale and silvery within the sky above Sabrestar's Territory. Muscles writhed like snakes underneath her skin, underneath the sleek, well-groomed, black coat shining like ink. The only thing that flawed her beautiful face were two, thin scars, running beneath her left eye.
Well, the other thing that flawed her "perfect" face was the cruel, relentless fire within her cold, stoical ice blue eyes.

She's like a rose.
Who would do anything to taste a little blood.
