The wind blew past silently, the grass rippled and the night was on its way. Padding through the tall grass was Nightdusks massive cat body, his tan eyes peering around, as if taking in the information of this part of the stoneclan camp territory that seemd new to him. Yet the only thing that surprised him was that stoneclan was so protected, that this seemed to be the only part that was unprotected. He flicked his tail, his nose twitching, the scent of prey was close nearby...

Featherstar stalked quietly in the grass. She wasn't really trying to hide herself but she wasn't letting the whole field know where she was either. She had just come from watching Snowstripe hunting a mouse. Now, she thought she would check on Nightdusk. Not that she thought he was as helpless as a kit. She just wanted to see what he could do. She stayed quiet.

Nightdusk went into the hunters crouch, Tail remained low, his body as if a statue, had no movement. His ears like small satalites moving slowly and or quickly following the sound with ease. Not even a blink came from his tan colored eyes, his claws unsheathed as they dug deeply within the soil. A rabbit, not noticing Nightdusk, at the grass with silence, popping his head up every once in awhile. Yet Nightdusk's coat created great camoflauge against the dead Grass. His ears, jot streat forward, watching the rabbits every move. One paw slowly risen, moving only when the rabbits head remained in the grass eating, and stopping instantly when looking up. His tail flicked, raising slowly, claws digging within the soil ready to take a massive stride from were he was, to a few tail lengths off, were the rabbit feeds. ooc: its late and I have lots of time XD I was bored..

(OOC Sorry it's short. (A) I'm tired and am going to bed. (B) It logged me off and I had to type it over, and (C) I have no creativity right now. ;D)
Featherstar stayed quiet. If Nightdusk caught the rabbit it would be his to eat. Only if, of course, he could nab it from the fresh kill pile before any other cat. That was the way of the Code. Feed the Clan first. Featherstar waited for the tom to pounce on the unsuspecting creature.

The rabbit ate silently as if nothing were around, chewing the grass joyfully. The wind passed by, rippling the grass, yet Nightdusk was undistracted, his ears still remained forward, ready for the right time to pounce.
His tan eyes watched closly, his paw, that was risen now stepped forward onto the ground. The rabbit continued, but, moments later his head remained high, ears flickered as if something was watching it. Nightdusk blinked, in a split second he lept, his stride between him and the rabbit was massive, His jump was close to reaching the rabbit.
Jolting away, went the rabbit, but behind it quickly ran Nightdusk, tail swaying swiftly as he turned, following the rabbits every turn and curve of each movement it made. The rabbit continued, yet his pace remained the same, Nightdusk easly caught up with ease, claws dug deep into the earth each time his paws touched they ground. This was the final for Nightdusk for this hunt, The rabbit turned, Nightdusks tail swaying to the left for him to turn right, and with that, He lept.
The rabbit stuggled to get free from Nightdusk's long jet black talon like claws, yet it was no use. Nightdusk violently put his mouth over the neck of the rabbit, as lion would do to a wildabeast. The rabbit stuggled to get free, but moments later, It remained still, motionless, a lifeless body. Nightdusk loosened his grip, but still held on to the rabbits neck. He looked both ways, trying to figure out which way he should go to head back to the stoneclan camp.

Well done Nightdusk. That was a good catch. Would you like to accompany me back to the camp? Featherstar was proud of the new warrior. He was going to be good for the clan. Hunters were needed as much as fighters. Featherstar began to walk in the direction of the rock maze. Whether or not Nightdusk followed was up to him.

Nightdusk turned his head twards the direction off Featherstar, the rabbit still clentched in his jaws. He nodded a thankyou, and followed contently behind Featherstar, tail swaying slowly, but happy for his catch.
