((Sorry for the shortness, I spent two hours writing it and then the power flickered D: Took forever to get back online after that, too.))
This evening was a most lovely evening. The moon was out, the stars were bright, the crickets were chirping, and Raventail Blacktalon was in a most excellent mood.
Her black-grey pelt glowed dimly in the pale moonlight, and her vivid green eyes sparkled gently. Calmly, she strode with a confident air. Her pace was regular, And her eyes store on ahead. Where she was going, she didn't know. She just. Was.
A gentle breeze ruffled her well-washed pelt. This was a rare thing, considering she was usually very unkempt and muddy. Scars marred her smooth pelt here and there, and both ears were rather tattered. Her tail flicked now and then, as she cautiously stopped to sniff random plants, taking in the scents of the rocky terrain.
She liked it here, she decided. Maybe she would stay.

Featherstar noticed the cat walking through the field. She bounded over, full of confidence on her territory. Hello, and who might you be? I am Featherstar, leader of StoneClan. If you are looking for a clan, then you are welcome here. I think you will find our territory lovely, at least in my eyes it is. So what are you here for? (OOC Sorry, mine's short too. I can't think today.

Hawkpaw stalked silently after a small vole in the grass. He was pleased with the night, and the very feeling of the earth clasped under his paws. It made him feel at home, as if he never would need to leave. And perhaps he never would need to. Being part of Stoneclan was a privilege to him, and the maze of rocky crags and passages. He growled softly, about to pounce, when he heard the voices. He paused, allowing the small animal to creep away, head held high above the grass, pinpointing the voice of Featherstar. He waited, unsure of whom she was speaking to, though he knew it was not himself. It wouldn't be smart to break into any similar conversation at the wrong time.

Featherstar heard the apprentice but didn't know if the loner had. She decided to keep her presence hidden. If the loner noticed that would be a plus on her side. She knew Hawkpaw, if he had any brains, would keep quiet.

Hawkpaw remained still and silent, frozen, ears errect. He doubted he had gotten this close undetected by the two cats, though he couldn't be sure. If he was called for, he would come. But until then, there was no shame in quiet observation. He grinned inwardly, crooked, playful smile lighting up his insides like a lantren. Smiling. Good for the soul. He turned his attention away from his reveries and listened, ears flicking under the sun, whiskers just touching the grass on either side of his face.

Her tail flicked. "Yes, this place is quite lovely." Her meow was deeper than it usually was, as though she was purposely talking that way. She seated herself calmly in front of the leader, and nodded her head in a respectful greeting. "I was really just passing through, but I think I really like this place."
"My name..." her eyes cast downward thoughtfully, and her tail flicked back and forth as she thought. "I... I don't... I don't know what my name is." Her eyes widened as she looked up.
Ah-hah, here was her third. Raventail Blacktalon was one cat, but with three personalities. Raventail, the first, Blacktalon, the second, and this nameless one, the third.
One of her green eyes twitched. "I think we're being watched," she murmered, lowering herself into what was almost a hunting crouch. It looked as though she was actually just making herself comfortable. In reality, she was just readying herself. You could never be too careful.

You are an interesting cat indeed. Well when you remember your name please let me know. And you are right. Hawkpaw, an apprentice of our clan is crouched over there,She flicked her ears,in the grass. Hawkpaw you may come out now. The small cat lurked forward and sat beside his leader.Hawkpaw, I would like you to meet the new, nameless warrior, for now, of StoneClan. That is if she accepts my offer.Featherstar sat silently, waiting for the new cat's response.

Hawkpaw grinned widely and came bounding over, only slightly subdued in that he had been seen so easily. He came to a screeching halt, gripping the grass tightly in his paws. His yellow eyes, which clashed so with his fur, danced over his surroundings as he stopped a few yards off from the pair of cats. " Was I any better than usual?" he mewed, dipping his head in welcome, " I'm pleased to meet you....nameless warrior."
'Nameless warrior' rolled off his tounge strangely, and he disliked the sound of it, and rather hoped the cat would discover her name soon enough. He didn't dwell on it, however, prefering to glide over it like a falcon and continue observing the conversation.

The she-cat nodded. "I figured as much." Apprentices tried to hide and rarely succeeded until much later on in their training. But the key was that they tried until they got it right. Their enthusiasm was amazing.
Raventail Blacktalon nearly DIED when she was called a "she". Spitting, the black cat regained her posture and angrily claimed, "I am NOT a female!" Rage burned in her green eyes, and her tail was stiff and slightly bristling.
Her whiskers twitched once, twice, and the she began to attempt to calm herself. Her claws were still retracted and stuck hard into the rough ground, but her fur was beginning to lie flat. Her eyes were also beginning to lose their wild light, though still held some confusion. Due to the outburst, Raventail Blacktalon had completely missed the apprentice's greeting.
Aye, the third was the best, and though the most normal personality, it actually thought it was male.

Featherstar blinked slowly at the cat's outburst.I see.Featherstar started hesitantly, slowly. She didn't want to offend this nameless, genderless, or so the cat thought, cat.Well, nameless one, you are still welcome to join my clan. Is there anything I could call you by until you remember your name or should I just refer to you as the Grey Warrior?

Now she - or rather, as she claimed, he - was calmed nearly completely. She nodded her head slowly, and wrapped her tail around her feet. "Aye, I'd love to live a life in this terrain."
She shuffled her front feet slightly, re-arranging her postition so she could sit more comfortably. "Grey Warrior works. To be honest, I never noticed that I didn't have a name until now..." she added, in a mutter.

Then you may follow me to the main camp. It is this way. Hawkpaw, you too.The brown leader began to pad off in the direction of the rock maze. Oh, and you need to pay attention in the maze. I will only show you once more after this and then you are on your own.She continued walking.

Hawkpaw practicially jumped sky high when the cat grew angery, managing only to let out a quite, " Woah . ", sounding as much like a cough as anything else. He had no intention of impoliteness. He was a bit blatent. He was gaining more composure, however.
Hawkpaw grinned, following his leader, giving the grey warrior a welcoming, if not slightly sheepish, nod. He would recover quickly enough. Being as partial to fairly laid back cats as he was, it was not suprise he was slightly suprised by her - or his - reaction.
