Yin padded quietly through the rock maze, his tail flicking. A mouse scuttled across the path, and he waited. The brothers had been here a while, and had learned how to hunt in the mountains. An eagle flapped down to catch the mouse and Yin pounced. The black and white tom purred, satisfied at his catch. He tossed the mouse behind him, hoping to find Yang catch it, but his brother wasn't here yet.

"Yang!" Yin called, his tail flicking. He had invited his brother to go on a hunting trip, and left without even checking to see if he'd agreed. The black and white tom back-tracked his path and peered around a corner, looking for his sibling.

Yang lay hid in the crack in the rock, green eyes eyeing his sibling down below. Without warning he pounced, sending the black and white toms into a scuffling heap. Panting, he pulled apart from his brother a smile imprinted on his maw. "Next time, don't leave me behind!" to put a point to his vocals, he batted his paw at his brother's face. Once finished, he gathered the tossed mouse, which lay in the dirt just a tail length away and hid it with the hawk in the crevice. "Where to next?"
