Snowstripe padded from the main den, head and tail held high. She knew her way back to the den from here, where she was paying attention. She would explore, and track her way back to this spot, she declared to herself, making a mental note of the odd looking rock. Deciding not to wander far, however, she trotted up the side of the hill over the entrance to the main camp and wandered crossways over the hill into a large rocky scape. Mice scattered around the rocks plentifully, and she crouched low to the ground, stomach bristling over the rocky earth beneath her.

Featherstar didn't make a sound. Snowstripe seemed to be hunting. If she pounced then the leader would go up to her to see if she'd been successful. she waited patiently for the cat in front of her to spring.

A flash of ash black fur launched from her spot on the rocks, carefully and expertly landing on the back of the mouse. Taking it's life swiftly and with ease, she gazed down at the mouse. She deemed her prize by picking it up and setting it down. The mice had now scattered, and she pleasantly looked around, unaware of her leaders presense.

Well done, Snowstripe. I was watching you. That was an excellent pounce.Featherstar padded over and sat beside the young warrior. I hope you like it here in StoneClan. Eat your mouse and then we may talk, continue hunting, or patrol the boarders, looking for rouges to join the clan, your choice.

Her ear simply twitched as she approached. Not scared in the least, she turned to face Featherstar with a pleased look. I've lots of practice.. she said, but her faced showed through that she was proud of herself. She quickly bit into it and scarfed a small portion down, leaving the rest for Featherpaw. Let us patrol the borders... And talk while we're at it. She wanted to get to know the clan leader, and show to her that there was nothing to hide about her character.

ooc:// Neh, We'll stay here for the time being. We just got here. We'll get somewhere soon. ;D))
She buried the rest of the mouse and padded after the brown figure in front of her, and caught up quickly to her. Her broad shoulder blades rippled under her coat, and she looked rather strong up close. So.. what made you decide to be the Stoneclan leader? How'd you get there? She asked, attempting to strike conversation.

Well, I didn't decide to be leader. I was chosen to be deputy by our previous leader, Duststar. Here's some background information on me. I was born to a rouge mother and a rouge father and I grew to a young adult far from here. Well one day, I decided to leave because, basically, I was bored. I came across StoneClan's territory. DustClan accepted me as a warrior and when the deputy at the time was killed in battle, I was appointed. I served the Clan as deputy for a while and then Duststar was killed by an invading badger and I was leader of the clan. It is a great honor and I am proud to have the position. So what brought you to our clan territory? What is your background?Featherstar continued walking waiting for the young cat to speak.

Well, my parents were travelers. They left soon when I was old enough to live on my own. My younger siblings from my litter..? They died.. From either the plague or the two legs. I'm the only surviving of my litter. Well, I've heard lots of talk of the four clans in the valley. I watched all four from afar, learned their habits and how they lived. From their borders, at least, and their patrols. It was a tough choice, but in the end I decided to seek guidance from the Stoneclan. She looked up to the sunset, eyes and ears still keeping track of the direction they were going down the maze.

Well I'm glad that you chose StoneClan. I hope that we will be helpful to your life as a warrior. Feel free to ask me any questions you may have.Featherstar smiled slightly as the warrior seemed to be memorizing her way around the maze. You do have an interesting background. I'm glad you chose to share it with me.
(OOC I'm going to log off now because I have a friend over so, see you later.)

Yes, definitly. I am very pleased with my choice! She smiled gratefully to her and looked up. The stars were beginning to appear. She mouthed a 'Thank you' to the starclan and looked over. Oh, look! Newcomers! She exclaimed. She bounded forward to greet them.
