Autumnclaw sighed. Being alone wasn't very fun. For once the warriors' den was empty. But then again, what better to do when you're alone than sing? He kneaded at his nest with his paws, purring, took a deep breath, then let it all out. He really had a nice voice, kind of raspy for yelling at Oaksnout to 'Stop digging yourself into a hole!' or 'Stop getting in those cats' faces! They won't appreciate it!' or even 'Stop taunting the bunny rabbit!' Yes, Oaksnout was a handful. But he was Autumnclaw's brother; he loved him.
He wasn't really singing any words, just a tune. His deep, raspy voice echoed through the warriors' den. It carried out into the main camp, where every cat in StoneClan could hear it. Well, every cat in the camp. The StoneClan warrior's eyes shone in the dark, the pupils dilated. He suddenly stopped singing, letting out a sigh. "Where'd Oaksnout go?" Autumnclaw suddenly murmured to himself. He was probably safe. StoneClan watched out for him.

Brighteye entered the warrior's den just in time to here Autumnclaw musing aloud. Mudstreak took him hunting, she said in answer, and cocked her head. I didn't know you sang. Your voice is really...quite nice. Despite her still somewhat prickly manner towards the orange warrior, they had developed a sort of closeness. It was Autumnclaw that Brighteye spent most of her time with, and spoke with most often. But he still remained rather stiff and quiet, and had only recently began to open up. Brighteye sat down next to Autumn and yawned. I passed them returning from hunting, myself, she said abruptly. She closed her blue eyes and laid back against hte wall of the den. It was a nice day.
