Small Fear

[Featherstar]

Featherstar raced into the clearing and leapt upon the rock that sat just above her den. Let all cats old enough to catch thier own prey gather below this rock! she yowled. As the cats came to the rock she took a moment to catch her thoughts and breath. Well, obviously there is something that TreeClan, or Amberstar, knows that they were going to share at the Gathering but couldn't. We'll wait awhile and then send a cat over to the camp to see what's going on. Then she spoke to the clan, Tonight's Gathering was ended but our own clan and TreeClan were the only ones present. Amberstar ended the Gathering but not before a TreeClan kit let me know that something was wrong. There is a BoneClan roming about somewhere apparantly, but I know nothing else about it. We will wait two days and, if nothing happens, we will send a messanger to TreeClan and see what they know. MistClan and DuskClan didn't arrive at the Gathering and I'm not sure why. I will have to ask the leaders at the next Gathering, before if something unexpected happens. Thank you for listening. You are dismissed. Featherstar hopped down from what had become from what had just become the meeting rock of StoneClan and retired to her den, not even bothering to grab a mouse from the fresh kill pile.


//To Leader's Den.

[Loveless]

Loveless listened to Featherstar’s words, looking completely shocked. He and Pinepaw had been a tad bit late, so they hadn’t heard the apprentice’s words, but the thought of another clan…

A rogue clan, have to be. He had been a rogue for a long time, knew their ways. But that wasn’t the life for him; he didn’t have the aggression or the anger.

However, the garrulous young tom kept his mouth shut, for once, and waited for what he clan mates would say.

[Snowstar]

Snowstripe had held her tongue the entire gathering.. Even when the young kit mentioned this 'Boneclan'. She was absolutely shocked! She padded forward towards the rock ahead of the surrounded cats, tail flicking softly as she looked up at the rock. Featherstar, I beg your forgiveness for the rude interuption, but perhaps I can go to deliver a message..? Another cat can accompany me on this trip, since it will be dangerous crossing foreign territory. She blinked. Even if Amberstar sounds like a cat who could listen patiently without attacking.

She sighed, stepping back into the crowd so as not to make a fool out of herself even more. She quirked her head to the side softly, blinking.. Waiting, watching..

[Loveless]

"I will go with her."

Loveless suddenly called out over the crowd of cats, and the black-and-white tom padded over to join Snowstripe.

[Shadow Spirit]

Dragonpelt was still worried, but he couldn't supress a hint of jealousy that creeped up on him when Loveless said he would go with Snowstripe. He wasn't wuite sure where it came from, but he couldn't get it out of his mind.

"What is it that you want to tell Amberstar?" he asked Snowstripe.

[Loveless]

Loveless looked a bit surprise at the sudden expression he saw flicker in Dragonpelt's eyes. His offer to join Snowstripe had been as a friend, nothing more. He didn't want a fellow clan mate to fall into any harm.

...anyways, his affection fell elsewhere, with a different young she-cat.

[Bovine]

Brindlepaw did not want to be left out in any way on this adventure. She also wanted the chance to see the rest of TreeClan, other than the ones who frequent the Gatherings...maybe even get a chance to fight? That sounded like fun. I'm going with them! She said, walking stubbernly to her mentor, sitting down in a way that said that she wasn't going to be dissuaded.

[Snowstar]

Snowstripe had her back turned to Dragonpelt and therefore didn't see his look of jealousy. She looked to Loveless and nodded. Then he shall accompany him. It was Dragonpelt who spoke, and she turned to look at him with a flick of her tail.

Simply wanting to know what is going on with this 'Boneclan'. Ask her if she is capable of giving us more information, and how she found out.

She looked to Brindlepaw with a slight grin. She was a feisty little thing, she thought. Even then she was rather fond of her apprentice. Then it is decided. Loveless will accompany me and I shall take my apprentice along with me. She said to Featherstar, sitting up so she can hear better of the leader's opinion.

I was actually sending a couple cats out to send the message to Featherstar and her clan, but I do not see any harm in them meeting at Treeclan borders or somethin'. Amberstar called a gathering and asked a few volunteers to send the message. ;3

[Bovine]

Brindlepaw opened one eye half-way and let a grin of triumph cross her lips. Her first real mission as a StoneClan apprentice. She looked over at Pinepaw, slightly saddened that she would not be accompanying them...Brindlepaw had grown fond of the other apprentice...she could also see that a certain older cat felt a stronger fondness for said apprentice.

Dragonpelt decided to follow after them anyway.
