Doot, doot. Kits will play.
The small, lithe body of a tiny tabby kit scrambled across the jagged territory, crawling atop sharply shapen rocks only to jump down to the ground again. The small cat was neatly groomed, not something one would expect from a kit who had been exploring all day. Still, her grey and coffee-blotched pelt had every hair in place, not a speck of dirt on her white blouse or socks. She had not a clue where she was, nor did she know where she was going; she did know, however, how to have fun.
"Nyaah, Maple? Where'd ya go?"
Two's a company, afterall.
"Maple?" The kit's voice was high, squeeky, and above all feminine. Once again she found herself placed conviently on top of a cold stone, tail lashing behind her and golden eyes scanning the vast territory before her. Where had her brother gotten to, now? They were in an unfimiliar land with countless places for Maple to run off to, countless scents for him to go and sniff out. And knowing him, he probably had completely forgotten her lecture on "sticking together" she had given him a few minutes ago...
"Maple! Come outta wherever you're hidin'! We havn't got time for gaaaames..." She sat down on the rock and curled her tail neatly around her front paws, eyes still searching for her orange-furred brother.
"I'mma count to three... one..." Nothing. "...two..." Nope. "...three?"

As Maple stalked through the dark shadows trying to find a rock to get a straight path to attack his older sister, every couple of steps he would step into a puddle, getting his orange fur soaked.
"Found one" he mumbled to himself.
Maple stalked closer and closer to his sister steping on every rock trying not to make a loud noise. Now she was in jumping range. As he leaned back on his back legs and leaped at his sister.

Even before the impact, Iris knew was was coming. As soon as she felt her brother's body collide with her own she know instantly what was going on.
"Maple! Gah!" Tumbling from the rock, tangled with her slightly younger sibling, the tabby cat let our a "mroow" of annoyance. This was... what, the fifth time this happened today? Really, she should be use to it. The two kits hit the ground rather hard, and she supposed they should be thankful neither bashed their heads off any scattered rocks.
"Unf! Mousebrain!" She hissed and she pawed her way out of her brother's grasp. "What was that for, huh?" And although her speech seemed annoyed, she knew the tone of her voice gave off nothing but amusement as she swatted one of her paws at the orange kit gently.
