~Just keep movin' movin'; gotta' shake it, shake it~

The young black and white tom sang tunelessly as he paraded across the rather rocky terrain. So intent on his song that he paid no attention to where his paws drug him - and they had a streak for dragging into trouble as he pranced lightly right across the StoneClan border.

~Gotta' shake it; move it~

His long tail was waving above him humorously, and he bopped to the beat he felt coarse through him.

[Featherstar]

Featherstar thought her mind was tricking her at first. Then she paused, yes, that was singing. She turned and saw a black and white tom prancing along. Strange, she thought,well, I'd better see what he needs. Hello there. She greeted the tom,might I ask what you are doing on StoneClan territory? I am Featherstar, leader of StoneClan.

[Loveless]

~Gotta shakin' move it; gotta'...~

Loveless's rather...terrible...song stopped in mid-lyric, and he stared at the pretty she-cat. The black and white tom sat, tail twitching spasmodically, yellow eyes wide and cheerful.

"Well, hello there Miss Featherstar. The name’s Loveless; I'm just a rambling traveler searchin' fer a good home. A place I can dedicate my heart and soul to."

His voice was warm, tone sincere. This tom was no threat; to her Clan or to anybody really. He was far too good-natured.

[Featherstar]

Well then Loveless, if you would like to make StoneClan your home, that's fine with me. You just must be loyal to me and your clanmates at all times and be willing to sacrifice even your life, for the good of the clan. If you'd be willing to do that then you are welcomed as a warrior to StoneClan. Featherstar was glad that yet another cheerful warrior might be welcomed into her clan.

“If it meant that I could serve a beautiful she-cat such as you Miss Featherstar, than I would gladly pad to hell and back.”

Yellow hues shone honestly; his words were said with as much sincerity that he could muster.

“I would be honored to fight and die for StoneClan.”

[Featherstar]

Well Loveless, I welcome you as a warrior of StoneClan. If you'd follow me I will lead you through the rock maze into the camp. Featherstar started walking toward the maze, then paused,I suggest you pay attention, I will only show you the way twice. She continued walking.Follow me.

Pricking his black ears forward eagerly, Loveless padded after Featherstar, paying her as much attention as he gave his surroundings. There was more to the tom than met the eye; he noted the exact location of every landmark; and committed them to memory for later reference.

“Of course, m’lady.”

There was a bounce to the black and white tom’s step. He was wondering if Featherstar was going to let him keep his name or force him to change it to a true clan name, and secretly he wouldn’t mind if he had to. A name was a name, and if it showed he truly belonged here...

[Featherstar]

Oh, I almost forgot. Featherstar suddenly stopped and turned. Loveless, would you like your name to remain the same? If you wanted to, you could have a clan name. But it is up to you.

[Loveless]

"M'lady, I believe that, as Clan leader, the decision is up to you."

Loveless's voice was warm as he followed the she-cat with his yellow eyes. In fact, he would be rather curious to see what name she could think of for him.

[Featherstar]

I believe we will keep it the same for now, but as life goes on, if you do something worthy of a name change I could change it. Well now that that is settled, let's go home. Featherstar continued walking to the maze.
