Light grey, course fur, deep green eyes; her fur-less keepers once called her Pine. Now she was away, alone, homeless.
And she's come to this... Not quite barren land. Mountains surrounded her one side, a sort of grassland or field to another. After being away from her old keepers, these extreme lands intimidated her slightly; but she showed no sign of it as she made her way. She paused, slowing her steady march, as she caught cat-scents unknown to her. She began to suspect that she was not as alone as she had thought.
"Where...?" she meowed quietly, cautiously.

Featherstar had been stalking a mouse when it suddenly ran away for no reason. Then she noticed the cat walking through the field. She stood, and padded over to the she-cat. There she sat. Hello there. Might I ask what you are doing on StoneClan territory? I am Featherstar, leader of StoneClan. Featherstar's voice wasn't sharp, more like gentle and caring. That was the kind of cat she was. If this cat wanted a home and would be a loyal warrior to StoneClan then she would gladly accept her into the clan. Featherstar waited for the she-cat's answer.

Pine heard a she-cat's soft meow. She turned, only slightly startled, toward to voice. The she-cat looked a very wise cat. She spoke, kindly, paused as she let Pine answer.
"I am...Pine," she said. "That is what my old keepers called me. I am now alone. If you are leader of this...StoneClan, then may I ask you give me a home? I promise I'd be loyal beyond your beliefs."

Of course Pine you may have a home in StoneClan. But I must ask you, how old are you? This will determine whether you should be a warrior or an apprentice. And you said that Pine was what your twolegs called you. Would you like a new name to symbolize your freedom from them? Featherstar was glad this cat wanted to live in her clan. She seemed nice but willing to be loyal and that was what the clan needed.

Pine smiled happily. After so long of wandering, she could finally have a home!
"My Twoleg keepers were not harsh. They were kind to me, and let me do almost all that I wished; they treated me with respect and honour. I would not choose to forget them. However, your ways are unknown to me. If you'd have my name...Extended, then that is of no mind to me. A few Twolegs that I have seen with my old keepers called me 'Pine fur'. That would...Be of no mind to me," she repeated, remembering the Twolegs and their soft words.
"I was with the Twolegs for some moons. But I am not skilled in you Clan's ways, and may not have the experiance required of one of your...warriors. Perhaps some training from your Clan would be best." She bowed her head respectfully.
[Wow...I have a pretty deep background story.... *thud* Sooo anyway I probably need to start as an apprentice for a while... I'll change my name to Pinepaw too :D Sounds cute, no?]

Very well. Until you become a full fledged warrior you shall be known as Pinepaw. That way you can remember your twolegs and still be part of the Clan, Featherstar was glad that some twolegs were nice.Does that sound good to you Pinepaw?

Pinepaw smiled once more. Thank you, Featherstar, my Clan leader. My loyalty is pledged to StoneClan. She bowed her head again, pleased that she need wander no more. She finally had a home; she would learn the nessesities of life: how to hunt, and how to live in a Clan. She couldn't wait to get started!

Pinepaw padded after her leader. Although she could barely contain her excitement, she strode with pride and confidence. She would never let her clan down!
[Thank you. :D]
