Fernwhisker paced the borders of Stoneclan, her tail flicking with anxiety. Her green eyes flickered in the half-light. What will it be like? ...being in a Clan again? she wondered. Better than last time? I can only hope. Her last expirience with a Clan had not been so fulfilling...But there's no sense in letting one really terribly bad experience ruin my entire life, eh? She sat, surveying Stoneclan territory. A patrol must be coming soon.

Hello newcomer. Who are you and what are you doing on my territory? Featherstar spoke gently, not acting mean, just wondering why this cat was here. She waited patiently for the loner to answer her question.

Fernwhisker nodded her head slightly in respect, her eyes narrow, wary. "I am here to join your Clan, if you'd have me," she meowed bluntly.

I would like you in my clan. What is your name and, I am simply curious, what brought you to StoneClan? I am Featherstar, leader of StoneClan. Featherstar thought this cat could be trusted and she certainly didn't want any cat to go to DuskClan or TreeClan. She would be welcome by all the clan. Especially Snowstripe, Featherstar thought to herself, she's always wanting to make a new friend. She smiled. That was good. A clan needed to be kind so no pointless arguements would break out among cats.

Fernwhisker's eyes widened slightly. "Oh...leader? Well, Featherstar of Stoneclan, I am Fernwhisker. I am here simply because my paws took me here. It was only chance that led my here and not the any of the other Clans," she meowed, glancing over her shoulder warily.

Well, I am glad your paws led you here. If you would like to become a part of StoneClan you would be welcome. If you will follow me I will take you through the rock maze and into the main camp. Don't worry, Featherstar smiled, the maze isn't that hard to navigate, just use your nose and the landmarks. She walked away slowly waiting for the she-cat to follow her.

Fernwhisker followed the leader hesitently. Could it be a trap? I doubt it; but then again, how could I know? She doesn't seem hostile but--"[/b] She shook her head. After being a loner for so long I guess I got used to talking to myself, she thought, her eyes narrowing. I'll have to stop...soon there will be real cats to talk to...[/i][/color]
